I went in tonight w/ a friend. My friend ordered a drink and I went to the bathroom. when I came back the bartender was making me a fancy drink - that I didn't ask for - when I said I didn't want it, he made a hurt face - so I drank it. Then he charged me $15 for it. a tiny drink w/ no alcohol. My friend who actually got a drink was charged less. the place was totally empty. I can guess why.

I really like the way owner Nenna Joiner describes their place as a "sex forward bar". Believe you me, Jamie W. and I weren't looking for an orgy. By "forward", I think they mean an inclusive place that welcomes all proclivities and preferences, basically the opposite of anything in the Project 2025 charter.Right next door to the pulsating Fluid 510, we were pleasantly surprised how welcoming other customers were when we entered the premises. The vibe was more sophisticated than we anticipated because Nenna is targeting not just the sexually adventurous but basically anybody looking for a chill atmosphere and her selection of thoughtful craft cocktails.I went for the $15 Crushed Crimson, a surprisingly mellow mix of vodka, elderflower, and Hella Simple syrup, while Jamie ordered the $16 The Baldwin, a spry blend of rye whiskey, ango bitters, and citrus (photo: https://yelp.to/iGS-q4z5bU). Stumbled across this place on accident and absolutely love it! We were walking down the street and heard them playing good music -- hip hop / rap / rnb -- so we decided to stop in. The bartender was super nice and friendly, even made us "custom" drinks after asking us what type of drinks & alcohol we liked. The drinks were surprisingly really good.We love the ambiance in this place. We left the bar to go elsewhere but ended up coming back here at the end of the night to have our last drinks here. Will def be coming back for a date night or another girls night in the future!

black owned business I definitely will come back the esthetic were nice and like a classy dive bar I wasn't impressed with our drinks but I will be back and will order again.. the drinks weren't too strong but had a good flavor they also have cocktails ontap which I thought was lovely. good music nice vibes a lounge with more bar seats staff were nice and attentive . the bartender was working solo and did well at attending to everyone he could have used 2 more bands behind the bar

Went here with my friend and didn't realize it was sex themed! The decor was actually pretty subtle and the drink names were funny. The bar was empty in the early afternoon so we were able to chat with the bartender. They made suggestions based on our preferences. My friend was on crutches at the time and the bartender was so gracious and made sure she had a comfy seat.

Great bartender, he can mix up drinks that will turn your frown upside down. Great place to meet up with friends for a cocktail. A warm and inviting atmosphere.

We were amazed by the aesthetics but once we ordered , our drinks were served in plastic cups and weren't even fu all the way. I was litdhook considering how the aesthetic looks. Just shame . $16 for a cocktail Power bottle & spank that drink same

This bar is somehow affiliated with the sex shop of the same name 1 block away in downtown Oakland. The close affiliation between the two becomes clear when you see the bar. There are sex toys laying around amongst the bottle of liquor. And the bathroom wallpaper would be inappropriate for me to articulate here. We went on a weeknight. It was very quiet. There were only a few people there. One constructive criticism is the bartender was a bit intrusive. He was listening in on our conversation and would do chuckles at times at things we said. In his defense, he had so few patrons that I think he was simply bored. I love to support minority-owned and LGBTQ establishments - and this is both. So 5 stars regardless!
