Fat Fish Sushi

Fat Fish has always been my go to spot (the one in San Leandro mainly) because their sushi's have always been good and affordable. Papa Roll is my go to Roll and it was delicious. My friends and I also had the Good Boy Roll, which was very similar to the Papa Roll but without the Tempura flakes on top. We did try something new, their Ramen. We tried their Spicy Black Truffle ramen... and the pork belly in the soup was mouth watering. The slight char on it gave it that nice crisp and it really soaked up the soup which made it very flavorful. We got there right when they opened for their dinner time and we got our food very quickly. Normally even after an hour after their dinner time, they get packed and service is okay, but it is always understandable. It was really cold in the restaurant and they didn't fully check the tables because we had a soda cup on the corner of our table. Not sure if the can make it slightly warmer because we are eating raw fish, but it was pretty freezing in there.Environment was good but the delicious and affordable food took over my experience.

Never disappoints. Their sushi comes in big sizes with reasonable prices. We love coming to this sushi place whenever we visit the livermore outlets. Good service and good ambiance. May need some updates on the seats and the wall. This place looks old but still gets a lot of customers.Will certainly come back for more.

I made order few days ago for delivery and really satisfied with my order. We got 3 bento boxes, rainbow roll, and fat fish roll. Bento box was good. Tonkatsu was crunchy and tasty and sashimi was fresh and tasty. Roll sizes were so big, we were surprise. It made so well and tasty, there was nothing to complain about. Overall, really enjoyed my order and would order again.

I came here with my son again for lunch. His pick. We both got the bento box special with two items. All tastes great! I highly recommend this place with reasonable price! A great place to bring friends without having to split bills as each person can order their own and still sit at the same table. Check out the place if you haven't had a chance.

Great service, decently priced and amazing portions. I order from here pretty often and have never been disappointed.

Our favorite sushi restaurant to get sushi rolls. Always generous portion, big rolls and delicious! You order at the counter then sit down with a number. Usually young teenager works there. Restaurant is clean but needs updating.

Fresh sushi made on the spot at a great price, variety is phenomenal and the service well let's just say it could improve if the person behind the register would actually care. I am unsure of the gentleman's name, but several guests commented as we were sitting, waiting for our orders or having just finished the meal.

I use to love going here when I didn't live in Dublin- it was cheap eats.. but now not so cheap and I guess you get what you paid for. We orders the best friend and few other rolls as well as the Sashimi Donburi. Sashimi was ok this time - fresh but the red sauce they gave was super sour and off putting. Thank goodness I didn't put it on the whole donburi. The rolls were okay and hit the spot eventhough no matter what combo we got they were about the same. We also ordered the fried oyster. I'm use to a crispy juicy oyster but these were flattened and seemed to be cut in half ( so five half pieces ) and then fried crispy -- crispy and dry. :(

The fish had added colors!!! Don't buy. The fish wasn't tasting good after I saw this.
