I've been coming here for years and always pick up. Quality has always been the same great well prepared tastes good and never disappointed. The Lion King is great as well as the deep fried California roll, regular California roll, New York roll, and avocado roll. All are my favorites. I should explore more but these are always my Go-To. Service is always good. Ambiance ok.

Exterior: it is a cute, yellow, small building along by the busy street with a small parking lot. I will have to say, it is pretty old and outdated by looks.Interior: interior is fairly small, once it gets to the busy hours, it does get crowded. It is outdated however, is cute. I have come here a lot of times in the past, so they have not update anything for a long time.Food: I usually get the Lion King, it's ok to me. I prefer sharing it so I don't get overwhelmed eating it cause of the richness from the Lion King. I usually go for a lot of the rolls for whatever I feel like ordering and the portion sizes are pretty large.Overall: This place has been opened for a long time and I have come here with my family, even though we all tried a different sushi spot, my family would come back here. Because the food are just that great, and my other family members would ask me where I order my sushi cause it is good. I am not saying it is the top of the line sushi place, it is a good spot in this area.

A little hard to notice, humbly located in San Leandro on 14th Ave. I think they took over a taco joint from the looks of things. With that, this is diner and lunch counter style sushi, not your snooty, up scale type. Still over $30 for below order of three items. California Roll. Basic roll so not much to get wrong. And yet, micro serving of avocado and mostly just imitation crab. Avocado was less than fresh. Edible but meh. SOS. Not very spicy, which is fine by me. Crunchy flakes on top were very stale, and I was there right at opening. Lots going on, but kind of meh flavor intensity. Crazy Horse. Refreshing, albeit a bit bland. Good for a sashimi fan.

We ordered this to go and although the sushi roll combinations were unique the rice was just too much per roll. The sushi was drenched in sauce and everything tasted like a California roll with spicy mayo. I also got a chirashi and the fish cuts were giant. The fish quality was very sad and not glossy. The fish is very dull and looks thawed out. Some of the cuts broke apart like it's been sitting out too long. The miso soup was interesting it had random pieces of noodles in it. Not sure if that was how they made miso soup or some other dish fell into the soup broth. I'm glad I gave it a try but will definitely not be returning.

Large portions. Site of an old Taco Bell, parking lot in the back. Nothing fancy here, just plain ole big portions. You order at the counter, take a number and they bring the food to you. You get your own water . We had the Rock and Roll sushi, platter of shrimp and vegetable tempura, and two charashi bowls. So muck food for 3 people.

It's a small hole in the wall. This location has always been a go to for many years and recently they've installed ipad menus so your party could order from the table as soon as you walk in. Perfect for a small gathering. The sushi is okay, well presented, but the portions are especially a bit larger than the average spot.

Huge menu selection. Almost overwhelming. The fish is fresh. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. All in all i would recommend hitting up this place for your sushi fix. The ambiance is lacking. I wouldn't necessarily want to dine in though.

Picked up... the rolls were ok.. the big salmon could have used more seasoning... and the tempura roll was really good but it was big and difficult to eat

The menu is quite lengthy. It is posted on the wall, and you order before you sit. So, it's a little awkward standing there as a first time customer, starting at this menu with something like 80 different rolls + other menu items. For some reason I decided today was the day to be adventurous. I ordered an aloha roll and a Godzilla roll. First I will say, of you order the Godzilla roll; you can probably share it. Or at least don't order anything else for yourself. That roll is huge. Because of its extremely large size, it was difficult to eat. But it was pretty decent. The aloha roll, I would not recommend. Cream cheese and spam? Why did I think that would be a good idea. Hard pass on that one. The restroom could use a bit of a deep cleaning. Or maybe it's beyond that and just needs a straight up face lift. Anyway. I will probably return, try something a little more normal next time. Or maybe not sushi because the udon looked good too. We shall see.
