Farheen’s Island Kitchen

I have ordered from Farheen's Island Kitchen twice so far and both times was an incredible experience.First Experience:The food was delicious and the customer service was even better! Farheen responded within seconds of me texting her and ordering was painless (no complicated forms or website links). Payment was through Venmo but she sent me a proper invoice with all the details of my order. We got the couples deal that they had at that time which came with a full rotisserie chicken, 2 sides (we chose roast potatoes and gravy) and a 2L soda! When I mentioned that we weren't big soda drinkers, I was immediately offered the passion fruit drink as a replacement. This deal is great value! The portions were good, and it was only $21.94 with tax (19.99 w/o tax). Normally, when things are great value, they lack in the quality/ taste department....not so in this case! The chicken was tender and juicy and so flavourful! The meat just slid off the bones! The baby potatoes were roasted to perfection and seasoned just right. We ordered the medium spice level and it was perfect. The gravy was delicious and savoury and a wonderful complement to the whole meal. The passion fruit drink is also a must try! It was a perfect balance of sweet and tanginess and was very refreshing!Finally, this review took longer to write than it did for me and my husband to demolish the food (that's why no pictures from our first time except for the passionfruit juice). That's just how good it was! My husband is normally picky with ordered/ catered food and prefers home cooked but he loved everything just as much as I did!Second Experience:I was craving their rotisserie chicken and wanted to have it again. Farheen was so sweet that she offered to give me the couple's special again at the $19.99 promo price. Ordering was painless as before (she sent an electronic invoice and I paid via Venmo).This time I made sure I took pictures before we dug in lol. The chicken was just as juicy, tender and flavourful as last time. We got the pink lemonade instead of the passion fruit juice this time and it was fresh and delicious! She also gave us an extra side of rolls along with the 2 sides that came with the meal. This time the sides were mashed potatoes and gravy. Both delicious!Everything was neatly packaged and there was zero spillage or mess.All in all, a very satisfying meal....great customer service, delicious food, hassle free ordering... the works!If you haven't tried out her food yet, I strongly recommend that you try it out. Great for a lovely date night at home! Maybe surprise your partner on Valentine's Day with a tasty but inexpensive candlelight dinner, you provide the candles and fancy silverware and have Farheen's Island Kitchen provide the food hassle free
