I love to come across a place the offer all the Mexican treats. A quick snack to keep us going during the afternoon. Wait time was fair as it was late into afternoon so wasn't so busy. We ordered elotes but this place offered a twist to the spice. He used a unique spice that he said was only available in Mexico and not locally. The flavor was good but i had him add some extra Tajin. We also ordered the chamoyadas. It was pretty refreshing and loved the tamarind stick. Small little place and most importantly the work space was clean and be wore gloves while handling the fruits and vegetables. Xavier was friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions regarding the different drinks. I loved how he made every item with passion and wasn't in a rush. He would engage in conversation with waiting customers, asking what they would like to order. It was single man game, But he did a great job. If I'm Hayward I would return.

Delicious + fresh fruit!!! I wish I could have gotten a picture while it was in the bag (before I put it onto a plate at home)When I came in, I saw the cash only sign. I was super bummed, but the kind woman in the front allowed me to Zelle her!! Not sure if it was because she was the owner though so next time I come back I'll be prepared with cash. The Tostilocos were $8 which is the average anywhere you get these. This place should have 5 stars. Yummy antojitos and clutch for when you can't find our hard working churro man/woman walking around Pregnancy craving satisfied!!

The worst mangonada I've ever had. Fresh mango was the only redeemable part. All artificial tasting syrup was so overwhelming I couldn't even drink it. I fished out the mango and tossed it. It would've been at least drinkable with half the syrup added. Do better

This place isn't as bad as a two-star review might indicate, but three stars is too generous. The service is uneven, and you might be at a disadvantage if you don't speak Spanish (I do). The man who initially took my order went to go shuck corn instead of waiting on me or even giving my order to someone else.Fresas con crema (strawberries and cream dessert) was decent; bionico (chopped fruit with cream and granola and topped with shredded coconut) had only a single strawberry on top, which was misleading from the photos and from other places where I've gotten bionicos. The places like these that don't list prices also make me wonder whether there is one price for the Mexicans and another price for the gringos. The price seemed reasonable to me when I was rung up, but I don't know if it's because I spoke to them in Spanish. This place isn't worth going out of your way, but it's good enough if you're curious enough to drop by.

is Exquisitos Raspados the name of this place? sticker on door reads: "El Tapatio.....". no sign seen. just big banner with "Exquisitos Raspados" in big lettering in the middle. at the bottom is a pictorial of the types of raspados available.offerings: raspados, mexican fruit entrees, corn, tamale, etc.eats: beef tamale (2.50)-didn't have any salsa, drizzle some mexican hot sauce on the side.-tamale on the dry side.3.5 starstake outs:-no pricing listed for anytime anywhere.-small parking lot.-wondered what happened to the old guy that was here previously?

Apparently the real name is El Tapatio. Perhaps they haven't gotten their business sign yet.Anyways, this place is the bomb. All my fruit cravings are satisfied here. Plus, their elote is super yummy. They have a spicier powder you can request to put on whatever you order. Normally they use Tajin. But if you like it spicier, there's a powder that the owner gets from Mexico that he can add to your order. Enjoy!

The service here was really bad. They have two kids working there who are really rude and since they don't list the price they give you any price. One was saying a price and the other person another. And the raspados were mid.
