The amount of times we've gone here in the past year is embarrassing but also a huge testament to just how delicious the food is! Everyone is super friendly and gives great recommendations. I have done take out and sit in and the food is always consistent and delicious. My favorite dish is the chicken tikka masala (I know, I know, but it's so good!) and any of the naans. You really cannot go wrong here.The time we did sit in, we ordered a bunch of food that I can't remember except I do remember everything tasting fantastic!

Ordered the Gobi Manchurian, Butter Paneer, Samosas and the garlic cheese na'an. I appreciated that the butter paneer came with a side of rice. All the flavors were spot on and I particularly enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian's flavors. Will be back!

The food was good and all but we had to warm it UP after takeout we phoned in and they said 30min and we knew to come a bit after so we waited 40min and it wasn't ready we waited another 25min for our food there was a line for takeout the service was horrible there was no one at the front and are food was cold it probably better to eat there then to wait then the food will be fresh

My husband and I came here for lunch today for the first time. The shopping strip mall where Emperor of India is located looks brand new. I believe the whole strip mall has been renovated and it looks really nice. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and immaculate with plenty of seating. The staff and manager were so kind and hospitable. I really appreciated their honesty about the spice level of items in their buffet. I do like spicy food but can't handle it like I used to. So the buffet was perfect for me. There were so many offerings. There is even a vegetarian section. The food was very fresh and so delicious. I would say the spice level was mild to medium. The gulab jamun dessert was my favorite. Once you are seated they bring you fresh naan. It was so good. Every things was amazing. Apparently the buffet items change daily so the next time you come there will be different things to try. I really like that. If you like trying a variety of foods including dessert, then this buffet is for you. This is a great way to try new things you've never had before and also some common favorites like butter chicken and tandoori chicken. Thank you to all the staff for their outstanding service and humble kindness.We will definitely be back.

This is probably my favorite Indian restaurant in san jose. It has authentic Punjabi food. The butter chicken and tandoori chicken are my go to. I have had some issues with them getting take out orders wrong, but they fix the problem right away. Definitely recommend and the buffet during the day is affordable and delicious. It also has a variety of options if you don't know what to order.

for an all you can eat buffet the price was good at ($20), they serve fresh naan and they have chai on tap. i think my favorites were the butter chicken, the chili chicken, and this potato dish i had no clue. it got busy really fast! so come early.also none of their dishes have nuts!

I was working in the area and happened to pop my head in. The host greeted me and told me about their lunch buffet special. I sat down and decided to try everything. The owner later told me that I hadnt served myself their signature dish: butter chicken! I had skipped it because my plate was full. I went to try it and omg! Super tasty i had seconds! Will deff be coming back with my family and coworkers!
