El Greco Grill

I had the privilege of visiting El Greco Grill again, my absolute favorite Greek restaurant in California. Every time I'm in San Jose for a fencing tournament, it is a must-visit for me. Once again, they exceeded my expectations.This time, I enjoyed an incredible meal featuring a Greek salad, French fries, pork gyro, and chicken gyro, all while watching the Super Bowl. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and just as fantastic as I remembered.The staff were amazing, even better than ever. What made this visit even more special was that the owner himself prepared the meal. It was such a blessing and the perfect way to end a long day after a tough fencing tournament.El Greco Grill truly feels like a taste of home. Representing Greece with every bite!

Unfortunately their food was just okay; I think it may be because I've been to Greece and they have the best Greek food I've ever had (makes sense) so the bar is high. I was craving the fried cheese, but it tastes like a knock off version of what it should be. I'm not sure if it's because the cheese doesn't taste right, or the phyllo wasn't light and crispy enough or what, but I would never order it again. I know a lot of Greek restaurants out here use a faux feta to save costs so I'm wondering if that was the case here as well. The el Greco salad also could've been better. The balsamic probably could've been sweeter. Also would not order again. The pita bread was too cooked and was a little tough.We also got the garlic fries, chicken gyro pita, and chicken gyro bowl. Those were all fine; we liked them. Overall though, will not be eating here again with other Greek options in the area to choose from.

Ordered two pitas and waited an hour. Don't get me wrong, the goon was outstanding, and the wait staff were very kind. The kitchen got backed up and it appeared to us that maybe they should have stopped DoorDash orders. The restaurant is very clean and modern, and again, the food was very good. What we experienced was likely an off night. Way off.

I ordered a large takeout order for a picnic - several dips and skewers. Note that there is a pretty decent wait time on the order (but that means it's all fresh). In fact, there was one item they felt was past its peak and they offered to remake it (would have taken another 20 minutes) but since I didn't have the time, I just ordered something else. The wait staff was so kind in providing me a snack of pita and yogurt dip while I waited. Everything was very delicious, but the falafel were not my favorite. Highly recommend the dips and pita. The chicken and beef skewers were enjoyed by the others at the picnic but I didn't try them (since I'm vegetarian).

I ordered pickup last minute ubereats here before driving home. I understood from other reviews that it would take a little longer for orders so I expected a little wait. The caveat is that there was only one couple dining in the restaurant and couldn't tell what other to go orders were being prepared but it did take some extra waiting time. The sandwich was tasty but felt that there was way too much sauce, and I now know to order sauce on the side. Overall service was friendly.

My coworker who is from Greece, highly recommended El Greco Grill, and I had lunch there with family. We all ordered different entrees and were so impressed with the freshness, quality and flavor of the food. We've been there three times already and we love it! Also, their rice pudding did not disappoint!

I ordered on DoorDash when I was craving some Greek food and realized it was close by, so took a leap of faith- ordered the chicken gyro bowl, side of pita, and baklava. The bowl is a good size- I would say the flavors are a bit underwhelming but it's not bland if that makes sense- I would have liked a little more of a punch of flavor. Chicken was fine- the rice was a bit undercooked; about 10% of the grains were crunchy. Next time I'd like to try the beeftiki and would ask for extra sauce. Loved the pita- had a nice flavor and seemed fresh. The baklava was my least favorite- it wasn't fresh nor was it crunchy or have a nice flavor. I only took one bite which was disappointing bc it's so expensive ($5.95!) it was dense and just lacked the layers I was hoping to get. Overall, I would give it another chance- I think there's some potential. The restaurant seemed clean and inviting and smelled good.

The meat is dry and the chicken didn't have much flavour We also ordered fries which came pretty late so the kids were so frustrated

Food: I must have gotten lunch at a bad time because the chicken was unfortunately dry. Had to mix it very well with everything else & the sauce.. it was still a little dry. Good portion size for the price and you can't go wrong with healthy Greek food.Ambiance: Friendly staff and very clean inside. Welcoming establishment. I'll be back again but will try something different.Parking: plenty of parking even if you need to grab and good or have a quick eat.

One of my top 5 restaurants in Campbell, the food is really just outstanding. One of the best Greek spots in San Jose, the service and food are amazing. I always go for the chicken gyro with fries.... 10/10. Food is always fresh, their sauces are on point and the restaurant is always clean.
