E14th Eatery + Kitchen is a community kitchen and food business incubator in between Hayward and San Leandro. Parking is street parking, there is a small lot in the back, but I am not sure if it is public parking or for the apartments/housing complexes nearby. There are not that much choices here - only about 3 vendors with some seating inside. I came here specifically for Creative SIPS.

Working at the Reach center and learning about this market/cafe I would definitely recommend this place. They have different vendors with their own section of the place (which is connected to the apartments), the atmosphere is really comfortable. They make it like a cafe and somewhere where you can sit and relax. They have a cafe, soul food, Filipino food, and desserts. The two places I have tried is Thank Que Grill (Filipino food) and the Sweet Treats.Sweet Treats have different options from cupcakes to healthy smoothies, I would definitely recommend coming here if you have a sweet tooth. I tried the kale coconut and it was very refreshing.Thank Que Grill is delicious. I tried their Filipino style bahn mi, and I was really sad when I finished it because it was so good. You really enjoy the flavors of a bahn min sandwich but the Filipino BBQ adds a whole new flavor.I believe right now they're doing a soft opening but it is definitely worth trying!

I tried the Ashland Market and Cafe this Friday for the first time! Everything looked so good that I could not decide, so I tried some of each vendor's delicious foods. Every last thing I tried was presented with beauty and a treat for the eye. But, even more importantly, everything exploded with taste sensations in the mouth!Smothered chicken from Jacqueline's Heart and Soul was as good as what you would find in the south, prepared by your southern grandma with a smooth and tasty gravy over melt in your mouth chicken. But, with the twist of a vibrant kale salad massaged with fresh lemon juice, deliciously prepared yams and tender collard greens--all vegetarian. I told Jacqueline that she looks "too young" to have so much heart and soul! Her food was incredible!Thank Que Grill is putting together the magical Filipino flavor profiles but with a fresh twist of Vietnamese style deconstructed grilled meats and veggies over fluffy rice. The lumpia was also incredible and lovingly prepared. The spices and sauces are prepared by the chef and items are grilled on site while you wait. This adds another layer of incredible flavor to the food. The Cafe has a variety of delicious items including a gorgeous vegetarian sandwich my boss ordered. It had hummus, thinly sliced carrots, lettuce, avocado, and other yummy things on a fresh multi-grain bread. We also tried the lemon bars which had the most delicate crust and just the right amount of lemon to custard ratio. I also ordered the yogurt and fresh fruit parfait with the most interesting and unique granola. I am still craving more of this granola and fresh fruit! The space is beyond anything I have seen in the Ashland area as it is set up like a food hall. Bright and open, colorful yet calming. Located on a fantastic plaza adjacent to E14th street where you can people watch to your heart's desire. The food was high quality, so fresh, and lovingly prepared. I will make this a regular stop through what is otherwise a food dessert. The Ashland Market and Cafe will be the anchor of so many great things to come in the area!!

Love this place, fresh cupcakes made daily at AndreaMarie Cakes. They also have yummy flavored ice teas and smoothies. Cakes and desserts available as a custom order for your next special occasion. I also had lumpia and the chicken and rice bowl from the Phillipino food kiosk, super delicious!! Going back soon to try the other spots. This is a great meeting spot and has a community focus.

I love Ashland Market and Cafe! For an indecisive person like me having options in one location is perfect. Jacquelynn's heart & soul has incredible sides among other things, and is happy to make a vegetarian combo meal if you ask! Thank Que Grill is the best Filipino food in the bay with homemade atchara, young coconut, topping and juicy delicious chicken!! Also his lumpia's are out of this world! Andre Marie Cakes has incredible cupcakes and smoothies and is my go-to custom cake lady for all events! I AM Cafe has amazing espresso drinks, filling sandwiches and salads, and fun pound cakes ! The whole space is light and open, there's free WiFi and great tables to get some work done or have a chat with a friend. Everyone is friendly and the whole place is locally owned and run by entrepreneurs of color!! Come out and support !!!!
