I stumbled upon this place when I went into market.I ended up picking up two bags of frozen pork and chive dumplings to cook at home for dinner.I was impressed with how tender and flavorful the meat turned out. The delicate folds around the round shape makes it more appealing.I will return to try other varieties of dumplings.

Picked up a quick order of Cha siu bao. They were yummy! Hot, fresh, soft and a good amount of filling. The service was great and love how you can buy frozen bags of dumplings for quick meals at home.

Food was bland. We had the Won ton Noodle Soup Check out my video.https://youtu.be/nXos9zwcvvEI was not especially wowed by the changes they made to this place. It used to be that you could get veggies and lots of soups and offerings. It is inside the Castro Valley Marketplace which is a pretty cool idea but it hasn't taken off like it should. They lost a great restaurant and this one also changed its format. The positive is that the parking is pretty easy as is seating.

Haven't tried their hot food but picked up two bags of frozen dumplings and steamed myself. I really enjoyed it! I got har gow and chicken shiitake mushroom shu mai. Finally some dumplings without pork. Sadly the chicken buns were sold out but I'll pick it up next time!

If you're looking for a fast and convenient dumpling spot dumpling kitchen express is your go to. It's located inside the Castro valley market place and there are a few tables to sit inside or outdoor seating. Service was ok. Just someone there like at a Panda Express gathering what you want. They have a variety of food at this counter- dumplings, frozen dumplings, and Chinese food. Today we opted for the dumplings and ordered the pork and shrimp shumai, bbq pork buns and the noodles in black bean sauce. The shumai and noodles were good! The black bean sauce and cucumber was like the perfect combo that balanced each other out. The noodles were a decent texture. The shumai was "meaty" and can't go wrong with the flavor. The pork buns were probably my least favorite. The bread was good, but the filling may have been a little too bland for my taste.

Found this place thru the TooGoodToGo app, where you get smoking deals if you're able to reserve for pick up at the end of the day.The Mongolian Beef was very good with a perfect amount of spices. The veggies chow mein was good. The chicken broccoli with chow mein was good as well. I also picked up some beef stew noodles soup was good and authentic. The beef was very tender.

Located in the Castro Valley Marketplace, which is a cool spot. My 1st time going to this Marketplace. The parking lot is cramped and tight, though. There were open spots but because the spots are so tight, people are having to go back and forward to get into the spot, so you are waiting there waiting for people to either finish parking or finish exiting. It is a poorly designed parking lot and takes away from the enjoyment of visiting the shops. It's a car accident waiting to happen.Dumpling Kitchen food was ok. I would say similar to Ranch 99 hot foods area. Maybe a little bit better. Service was typical for a Chinese spot.

Would never think that I'd find probably the best Chinese food/dumplings in the middle of a grocery market. Everything they make is PERFECT!

Surprisingly good! Noodles in black bean sauce 9/10- sweet and earthy - NOT ENOUGH SAUCE but has a lot of noodles *has meat*Noodles in peanut sauce 10/10- spicy and savory & add their vinegar and chili oil for more flavor - NOT ENOIGH MEAT SAUCE but comes with a lot of noodles *has meat*2 Entree 1 Carb - love their fried noodle texture - the lemon chicken is not lemony but is very sweet - broccoli beef is pretty good and savory - portions are ok for the price Overall, service is great. The server was very patient and explained what each item was. The food was pretty good but the noodles are definitely lacking in sauce and I hope they will add more next time. Definitely get their black vinegar and chili oil to ass to your dishes. If you're here for the fast food Panda Express style food, it's not too bad but I wouldn't come here just for that.
