We had an enjoyable New Year's Eve dinner here. I hadn't been to this restaurant in over a decade so it was fun to check it out. They had a fun atmosphere for New Year's Eve and it was very decorated. We made a reservation but it did seem like there were a lot of empty tables. We loved our entrees and salads. My companion's braised short ribs were particularly excellent - meat was falling apart and able to eat with a fork. I thought the salads were both unique and very fresh. My filet was cooked perfectly.I ordered a drink of the menu that just tasted super boozy - dunno if they do all their drinks strong or just the one I got! I probably should have stuck to wine but figured it was the new year.Service was fast and courteous. Easy parking in front.

There is a review just posted by Michael L that should be taken off. I was there and saw this entitled horrible person assault this poor college kid by actually pushing him with his shoulder. People make mistakes , no one is perfect. Then to go as far as to post this kids picture is ridiculous. I hope the management at Dry Creek had this employees back! Dry Creek employees go above and beyond to give customer service. I been going there for years.

We came in a little while ago, with about 6 of us and wanted to have dinner. A few of us in our party were very indecisive and even finicky about ingredients and particular spices. One person in our party asked seemingly impossible demands of our server, asking obnoxious things of this young man which embarrassed the rest of us. The young man (Kolin) patiently, politely and thoroughly answered each question, addressed each ridiculous concern and gave us the best dining experience we've had in a long time. He recommended the Caymus Cabernet which perfectly complimented our meal and his knowledge of the menu was fantastic. This guy is a master of his craft and Dry Creek Grill absolutely didn't disappoint. Parking is great, atmosphere is just right and the quality is superb. Highly recommend!

We came out for a late dinner last night, long work week and I did not want to cook dinner. This was our first time at Dry Creek Grill, we had a gift certificate from a birthday gift and decided toGive it a try. It was a Friday night, it was busy but not super busy. We were seated right away. The restaurant was under some sort of remodeling in process, getting new lighting. The server was nice and attentive, gave great recommendations. We ordered for appetizers the Korean fried chicken wings, Ceasar Salad and the soup do the day. For our dinner the Meatloaf, mixed BBQ plate, Spicy prawn linguini, a side of grilled asparagus and a side of their Mac n cheese and finished with the chocolate lava cake for dessert. My son found the Mac n cheese to be bland, lacking flavor but over all the meal was great.

I fully expected this to be a five star rating based on what I have read. It certainly is a beautiful restaurant. The patio dining is remarkable and the interior is elegantly appointed and sparkling clean. Our server was attentive, friendly and efficient. The restaurant noise level is more tolerable than most, they have clearly given attention to noise abatement which is appreciated. We were seated on time and prepared to spend a substantial amount of money. We did not receive the usual complimentary bread and butter; we were looking forward to appetizer platters of mini Beef Wellingtons but they were all sold out; the French onion soup was sub-standard, the broth was thick and heavy and its bread was wrong. We had no complaints about our main courses, but we ordered lemon tarts for dessert and they were sold out! The restaurant was fully booked for New Year's Eve well in advance so what was the reason for their unpreparedness? The worst thing was that we were seated toward the back of the restaurant and the helpers kept leaving the back door open so I had a continual cold breeze of 37 degrees fahrenheit on my back all evening. Yes, that is the correct temperature! A least five times I requested that a helper please close the door. I became thoroughly chilled and I had to forfeit the rest of my evening to get home and warm up. They really owe me!

The food is good it's just that the waiter forgot about us and I had to ask them for break and my drink I ordered. I waited about 20 minutes until I asked. To be fair it was Valentine's Day but still. The food was fine. Not sure if it was worth the price. Total we spent was $143. I also got a mocktail. The cream brûlée tastes good but the top wasn't that crunchy. It was way too soft for $14. All and all this is a 3 star restaurant. The rating makes sense. I do recommend giving this place a try though. The food was really good.

On our way to dine at this restaurant for dinner, after I got off work, I remembered while we were heading south on Lawrence Expwy that I forgot to bring the $50 gift card that I'd won at a raffle at work, which was the only reason at the time that we'd go out of our way to come to this restaurant. But, since we'd made a reservation, they'd required a C.C. to hold the date/time and we were planning on dining at this restaurant that evening, we weren't about to change our minds at that point. We didn't go into Dry Creek Grill with high expectations, but we were both pleasantly surprised that it turned out the food that we'd ordered was very good! My boyfriend ordered the Braised Short Ribs and I ordered the Filet Stroganoff. The meat that was served to my bf was tender and not chewy/dry at all. The noodles for mine were al dente and although the filet pieces for the Stroganoff were not as tender as my bf's short ribs, the mushrooms, shallots and sauce all complimented each other well and portion-wise, it was worth the $ as you could easily get two servings from this, as the dish is a bit on the richer side. Besides the entrees, the only other thing we ate were their complimentary bread with butter - the bread seemed like a multi-grain, slightly warm and it was pretty good but the butter could've been softer. We requested to be seated in the area of the restaurant which is located immediately towards the left of the restaurant once you enter, as we didn't want to be close to the bar area, due to the noise and it ended up being very peaceful and quiet there. It likely helped too, that we had dined on the early side at 5pm on a Friday. The servers were nice. Lighting where we sat was on the dark side, but overall ambiance was classy. We plan to return in the future and use the gift card that was forgotten the first time around. Next time, we will order some of their apps and/or dessert and maybe try out their steaks. Although it initially seemed like a bummer to have not used the gift card during our first visit, we ultimately don't have any regrets of paying for our meals and we'd be happy to dine here again!

Thrill of the GrillOperating out of the old Moose Lodge #1811 (est 1965), the Dry Creek Grill has been serving up solid steakhouse fare without all the fussiness of a steakhouse since 2011.It's hard to believe that they've only been in operation for 13yrs as they feel like they've been a part of the neighborhood since forever, and that's partly because the owners have owned restaurants since the '80s, and currently also own the nearby Tomato Thyme. The Good:*$80 for $100 deal on gift cards thru Costco*Huge parking lot with plenty of parking*Reservations thru OpenTable *Service was friendly, albeit a little awkward at times, but he meant well. :)*Classy décor and nice, sexy dimly lit interior, which makes this a great ambiance for date night or special celebrations. *Nice selection of semi-local craft beers, but a few too many macrobrews for my liking. *Pork Chop was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I could've used a little more of the mashed sweet potatoes, but I can never get enough of that stuff. *Fresh-baked cookie dessert was phenomenal and worth every calorie. I could've demolished a whole one by myself but was forced to share by the food gestapo. =ZThe Meh:*The Last Word cocktail was way too sweet and not alcoholy enough. *Short Rib was tender and tasty but lacked a real depth of flavor that a slow cooked short rib normally exudes. Don't get us wrong it was still delicious, but it was just missing something. The Ugly:*Their outdoor dining area wasn't open and looked maybe a little disorganized? I'm not sure if this is due to the winter, or maybe they're reorganizing it?Conclusion: Overall, it was a great spot for date night with delicious food, drinks, and friendly service.

First time here and my wife and I enjoyed the dinner. Our salad and entrees were great. However, the service was not the best. Server just took our order and didn't return to check on us. We finished our dinner and wanted some dessert but we waited enough so I just asked for the check. The buss boy was more attentive though. Nice food and nice ambiance, music. Except for the service.
