What a beautiful brunch we had! I've ordered from owners Mingmin and Jaden many times in the past but usually take out since they do not have an actual brick and mortar. Every time was delicious. Today for the first time we had our meal at a physical pop up at Izakaya Ginji in San Mateo. The service was great and the dishes were wonderful. We started with a traditional wood-ear cucumber salad and thousand year old egg over shishito peppers followed with mid-course grilled skewers with beef, lamb and pork paired with traditional Szechuan spices was the perfect seasoning by owner of Ginji, Saye. The noodles were on point with the perfect texture and perfect amount of spices. I have made a personal request that they do a monthly pop-up at Shinmai Oakland. This is one of those meals that when you crave it, nothing else will do. Kudos to the women owned pop up. Congrats on food well done Mingmin and Jaden! Bon appetite

Legit authentic Sichuan food. Flavors are consistently on-point, noodles have been perfect every time we've ordered. I haven't had a dish that I dislike yet. Small pop-up operating out of Shinmai for lunch, but really fast, the way street food should be. I don't think there's much else I can say.Stop searching for lunch options and go order some noodles now!

I stopped by for lunch around 12pm on 3/23/22, thinking that they would be open for dine in. At the time they are open for pick up or delivery. I placed an order of the the cold noodles with the shredded chicken and cucumbers. I enjoyed the food here and the lady that took my order was very friendly and open to answering any questions about the menu. I paid about 16 for my meal, a little overpriced but what isn't these days.

I was born and raised in Chengdu, Sichuan and was shocked to find authentic dishes from my childhood. Dou Noodle absolutely nailed down the flavor (spicy, numbing, and fragrant) and taste profiles of the dishes. Highly recommend! If you are trying Sichuan food for the first time, I recommend the following dishesYibin Fire Noodle - Nutty & savory dry noodles. Key ingredient is the pickled bean sprout which gives it great fragrance & crunch texture. Hongqiao Rice Piglet - It's basically another version of bao / dumpling. The wrapping is made from steam glutinous rice so it's very soft. Inside is stuffed with the same pickled bean sprout, pork, and herbs.

This is a pop up and I found them randomly on Uber Eat. Oh man, they are legit Szechuan food! The favor is exactly what I had when I was traveling China before the pandemic. Their beef noodle soup is to die for! I will definitely order again!
