I went here for the first time with my friends. We haven't really found many staple indian food in the Milpitas area, and I think this will be our staple when we have a craving! There were casual dining tables inside. We got the Mysore dosa to share and woah, the dosa was long!! It got eaten up quick because it was satisfying to rip apart and dip in the different sauces. The butter chicken was a classic flavor! I loved the tenderness of the meat and how it blended perfectly with the curry. The chicken 65 biryani was a huge portion! It was enough to eat for two meals I feel like. The chicken Chinthamani was my favorite - it was superrr flavorful and I loved the spices in the sauce. The Mango lassi was on the thicker side, but these drinks vary from place to place and I still liked it :) The server actually gave us 2 free ones on the way out which we appreciated a lot!

love this place! Huge portions. I've ordered from here multiple times m(both takeout and dine-in) and the food always comes fresh and piping hot. The dosas are really good.Biryani (I've had most of the meat ones) - theyre all full of flavor and aroma, the portions are enough for me to either split with someone or take home and eat another day.The chicken 65 appetizer was full of flavor and the chicken was so juicy. Kadai paneer - So good and flavorful! It was spicy and warm. The paneer had a good bouncy texture and the tomato based sauce had a smooth texture with lots of veggies and spices blended in. 5/5Mango Lassi - smooth and creamy mango drink, love it every time!

My friends and I were in search of a good Indian spot outside of zareens and I am actually glad to find an amazing Indian place closer to me! Plenty of seating, great service and amazing food! Servers gave us recommendations and checked on us frequently to make sure we were having a good experience! It's a plus because we get a discount if we pay with cash! For the foods/drink, we ordered the mango lassi, mysore dosa, butter chicken curry, garlic naan and the chicken 65 biryani and chicken chinthamani!! Everything came out so quick and the food was sooo good!! I can't express how flavorful and perfectly cooked every dish is. The chicken was so tender and the spices, ugh so good!!!!! The mango lassi was solid too and because we paid with cash, we got free mango lassis to take home which was p nice!! Overall, amazing spot I would 100% come back and recommend this place to my peers :)

I've never tried South Indian food before coming to chaat cafe but I loved it. They offer dosas here; I didn't know what it was, but it's a ginormous roll of lentil based bread served with dipping sauces. I tried some and was impressed by the spices and the heat! I ordered the veggie biryani and loved it. It also had a lot of spice, flavor and medley of wonderful veggies and tofu. The servings are huge and I've had leftovers for several days. What really stole the show were the samosas- easily some of the best I've ever had! They were spice but so perfectly supple on the inside and crispy on the outside, made perfect with the cilantro dip. It's located in a little strip mall in Fremont, nothing too fancy from the outside but you'll be in for a wonderful dining experience with attentive servers.

Really good and affordable Indian food! I tried the butter chicken, chicken chettinadu, garlic naan, and veg samosas. All that for just above $30 was so worth it. I loved the veg samosas! Even with takeout they remained crispy and the filling was flavorful and delicious. Sauces were both great; I liked the green one. The butter chicken was really tasty; super creamy, flavorful, with tender chunks of chicken. Paired with the garlic naan it was perfect! The chicken chettinadu was a new try for me. It was pretty good but the bones in there are like a choking hazard. Seems like more bone than actual chicken? But the flavor was pretty good. With that being said, the food was good for the most part and I wanna come back to try the Dosa!I ordered over the phone for takeout and the whole process went smoothly. Issue with printing a receipt when we arrived but no biggie. Very spacious interior with tons of seating.

Tried out this place for dinner take-out and got their butter chicken with garlic naan. Food was good overall and naan was quite fresh. The butter chicken had a spice level between mild to medium, that goes well with a rice or naan. Food was prepared quickly.

This is opened besides Food Maxx and used to be Peacock retaurant in this location a year back.3. Food is great I tried the mild ghee masala dosa4. Sambhar and all chutneys were good and they are generous while serving too..Dosa Hut should learn feom them !

Been here a couple times and every time it's a hit. The food here is very flavorful. The ambiance is casual and the service is fairly fast. Some of the standouts from my visits here include the shrimp kathakali, masala dosa, and biryani. The food is also reasonably priced and comes with good quantity, especially the dosas - they are massive!

This restaurant seems to have been around for a while but I didn't know until now. We tried the signature dishes like the Dosa, Mutton Biryani, and Tandoori Chicken. It was quite an interesting feast. The Dosa was gone in minutes. The Tandoori chicken was slightly different from my past experience. As it turned out that I used to have the clay oven ones. The Mutton Biryani was also served differently. It came w/ sauce and yoga. Overall, it's very exotic. Services were great and there are plenty of seating to accommodate large crowds. A very unique restaurant to re-visit.

Get your dose of dosa at Dosa Biryanizz! Located in what I would deem as an underutilized portion of a mall in comparison to the surrounding area, Dosa Biryanizz establishes itself as a pillar for Indian cuisine in Fremont. The food is top quality, service is exceptional, dining area is relatively clean and organized, and the prices are fair given the cumulative cost of ingredients in each dish. When I'm thinking of eating out, I'm looking for places where they're serving food I would not likely make at home and all the food available here fit that criteria.Dosas, curries, chaat (Indian street food), kebabs, and biryani - you can get it all here. We were fortunately able to try a few different dishes on our first time here as we were planning to take some home. There were definitely a few dishes that I was unfamiliar with but after getting a taste, I can't imagine eating Indian food without them moving forward. The staff were super friendly and introduced us to a few of their popular dishes. They spent some time explaining the different spices and ingredients that went in the variations of dosa and curries. It made our mouths water! Many thanks to Rohit for their service! Now to the food:Pani puri - an eye opening experience! Crispy fried balls to be punctured and then to be filled with the bean mixture and tahini sauce and finally devoured in one bite. Apparently it's a popular street food in India and has now even made its way to Costco stores. They're well worth the hype! Dosa - their dosas are huge! We tried the mysore dosa and the filling was mainly in the middle but it was loaded! The chutney that paired with the dosa were so delicious. At one point, I just straight up drank some of it.Butter naan - a staple if you're eating curry. Soft and moist which soaks up the sauces real well. Comes with three slices.Garlic naan - butter naan but topped with fresh chopped garlic. Delicious!Goat curry - bits of goat meat and bones to slurp on while you dip your naan with the rich and spicy stewed curry. One of the best I've tasted! The portion seems small but it's for sure filling enough.Biryani - there are a variety of different biryani rice dishes but we opted for the butter chicken and it was delicious. The chicken pieces were moist and the rice was well seasoned. Good portion.Mango lassi - creamy and chilled. A bit on the sweeter side but it cools down and cleanses the palate real well.We were able to take advantage of a deal they were offering for cash payment. They gave out one mango lassi for the cash payment option. However, it seems they also accept Apple Pay. Overall, Dosa Biryanizz lives up to its name for dosas and then some. Their full menu is packed with favorites of the cuisine and offer a great representation of the culture. If you're not one for spice, no worries - the dosas aren't drenched in spice as some bits are mainly the crispy dough, and the chutney and yogurt sauces will cool you down in no time. The service is good here and the food comes out relatively quick. It was quiet on a weekday lunch hour and seemed like the perfect time to indulge. They do also serve some special items on weekends only so I look forward to coming back to try some of the limited items. I'll definitely be coming back - I have only scratched the surface of their menu and everything is so fascinating!
