First visit to Doppio for happy hour. From when we ordered to when we got the food took 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Great first impression -Beet salad was great. Nice combo of ingredients-margerita pizza. I understand they have a specific style of dough however the middle of the pizza was soggy and slippery and ingredients fell right off when you picked up a piece. Would skip next time -meatballs were tasty. However for four meatballs and two people should've had more than one piece of toast. We were able to add extra of course -strawberry cocktail was really good We will be back to try the entrees next

Had a chance to try Doppio Zero during Happy Hour last week and had a great time. They have HH from 4:30 - 6 PM and luckily we were able to snag a table right when it started which was great. The ambiance here is very cute and it was perfect for some girl time! For food we tried:* fried calamari/shrimp - this was not bad but I felt the calamari was a little rubbery. This did come with a cocktail sauce and an aioli sauce though which was a nice dip.* fried potato balls with Gruyère dip - this was really yummy and cam with 5. This was crispy and crunchy and went really well with the oozy gooey cheesy dip*beets - this was actually very yummy and refreshing to try. It also came with straccialla cheese and hazelnuts which added the perfect flavor* Pizza (with meat) - this was fresh and the slices could have been a little more crispy but the flavors were very good*Gnocchi - this came in a creamy sauce with pieces of bacon which was pretty nice. Definitely on the richer side thoughOverall, experience was good and all the food was wholesome - fun experience for happy hour!

The first time I ate at Doppio was at their Mountain View location back when mask mandates were in effect, everyone was social distancing, and restaurants were only allowed to operate with outdoor dining. Pizza isn't my personal favorite food but I remember the experience being as good as it could've been and the food being tasty. This time, we planned a larger group dinner and made a reservation in advance. The staff had our table ready and were very accommodating as half of our party trickled in late. We decided to go with ordering a bunch of dishes to share, and our server was very helpful in giving recommendations for appetizers and drinks.I remember the fettuccine wild boar was especially popular back in the day, so I recommended that we order that and I was relieved that it was still the same delicious flavor that I remembered so many years ago. We got a couple other pastas, a few pizzas, and a number of appetizers, but those details have been lost in the past for me as of presently.I don't usually eat out in a large group but I'd say our group was made comfortable here and didn't seem to impose on others. The servers seemed very experienced so I would recommend this spot as being good for large groups. We had one person pay and the rest of us send, and parking is plentiful at the free garage only a short walk away.

Lots of buzz for this place because its one of the few Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana certified/approved restaurants. I guess that means the pizza has gotten the seal of approval from the pizza gods. Located in beautiful down town Campbell, plenty of side street and free structure parking nearby. Beautiful edifice as you enter. Busy Friday night but seated right away. Prompt friendly service , got out drink orders right away. The apps will pretty good especially the meatballs and salad. the fried calamari also had fried shrimp and 2 sauces, bonus for that. The best pizza was the porchetta hands down. I wasn't as impressed with the half calzone pizza because I'm not a big calzone fan. The yellow tomato with spicy ham was much better. The pizza crust at this place is next level. will definitely return. easy 5 star review

Let me start off by saying I had never seen or heard of Doppio before my dinner and MAN was I missing out! As soon as we walk in, I e were greeted and sat down. The decor inside is beautiful but simplistic. Makes you want to come dressed up but also have a casual night out. We started off with the appetizers since we came when happy hour was still going on (that's a plus!) we order the calamari which were delicious! I would definitely order again. Sorry we didn't take a picture, it didn't stand a chance! We were too hungry! For my entrée I chose Melanzane alla Parmigana. THIS was by far the best thing I've tasted in a long time. Essentially it is like a veggie lasagna. And no, I am not a vegetarian lol but this was so good, I'm coming back for just that! My fiance chose the Marechiaro. It is pasta made with squid ink and a bunch of seafood in it. It included shrimp, scallops, and clams. Super delicious and a healthy portion! She loved it!Overall, I would give this place a 4.5/5 in food but they got a 5 star review for their awesome service! Check it out if you're ever in the area!

Located in Downtown Campbell among a plethora of hip dining locations, Doppio Zero fits right in with its warm yet modern interior, packed with seating but still managing to be inviting and worthy of a nice night out with friends or family.Doppio Zero's menu and marketing heavily emphasize their pizzas but after trying them out for the first time, I think they are doing themselves a disservice because while the pizzas failed to impress, the pastas were incredibly good and worth a return visit on their own.I had a chance to try the Jalapeno and Pulcinella pizzas, both of which fell a little flat. Despite all the fancy ingredients they list on the menu for the pizzas, they ended up tasting pretty basic and both were rather undercooked in the middle, leaving them limp and doughy. The one shining star was the Fungo mushroom pizza, but it's such a strong and rich flavor that I would be careful before making it your whole meal. If you are absolutely determined to order a pizza, my recommendation would be to pair up with someone you are dining with to split a pasta and pizza dish together so that you can try out both sides of the menu and hopefully not grow bored or tired of any particular flavor. The real star of the show for me was the pasta, specifically the Fregola Del Pescatore which was excellent, and absolutely packed with an impressive depth of flavor from the seafood and sauce. I actually ordered this unaware that Fregola was type of round little pasta and while I might have preferred a more traditional noodle, the rest of the ingredients more than made up for the surprising noodle shape.Despite the pizzas shortcomings, the upscale atmosphere and delicious pasta is reason enough for me to come back here in the future.

This place is the worst of the Doppio Zero locations, which has gone downhill through the years. They kicked everyone out an hour before closing, service was inconsistent and one of the barmen was so rude while the other one was nice.Cocktails - none of them are actually mixed at the bar! Everything is premixed, and bartenders just kind of garnish the drinks for appearance's sake so it's not possible to adjust sweetness levels at all. Why bother having a full bar when you're not going to make real drinks? Selling ambience over function is so lazy, and to charge market-level prices ($15-17 / cocktail before tax + tip) is ridiculous.Octopus appetizer was so bland and tasteless. Plating was pretty, but useless when food sorely lacks flavor. Scammed -- will not return.

I really enjoyed Doppio Zero. The restaurant was very crowded and there is a wait so I highly recommend to get a reservation. The inside of the restaurant is very spacious and they have a beautiful bar area. It is a really nice restaurant for a date night, birthday, or anniversary. I really like the dim lights and all the lights they have hanging around the restaurant. The servers were very helpful and nice. The food was delicious. I got the burrata as an appetizer and the bread was sweet and the cheese was very creamy. The pizza I got was also good because it had a thin crust and was very flavorful. My drink I got was the pornstar which was pretty good and light. My boyfriend got the passion fruit mocktail which I would just pass on next time. Both the drinks looked very cute and the food looked very appetizing too.

In town a met a friend for lunch at Doppio Zero. The service and food are really good. We shared the truffle fries and it was subtle. The truffle fries weren't overwhelming and I ordered the calamari and shrimp as my entree. My friend ordered the lasagna and we finished with coffees. I had my cappuccino and it was nice and foamy on the top. Glad I was introduced to this place as it'll be on my to go list for the next time I'm in town.

Came here with my dinner group as someone wanted to try it out. On a weeknight, while there was a crowd at this location, we were still able to be seated right away. We were a bit close to the front door and the draft kept hitting us, but overall it wasn't too bad. The staff was attentive and took our orders when we were all present. We ordered a few small plates to share - broccolini, brussels sprouts, calamari and shrimp. I guess we were hungry as no one stopped to take pictures before they were devoured. I really enjoyed the broccolini and the brussels sprouts - both had a great crunch and flavor to them. For our main entrees - there were a few orders of the wild boar fettuccine, gnocchi, the jalapeno pizza and the dopio zero pizza. I enjoyed my jalapeno pizza, but it wasn't a crispy as I usually like it. The flavors were good, but I wished it had a better crust to it. Those who had the wild boar fettuccine really enjoyed their food; the gnocchi was deemed "okay" while the dopio zero pizza was "fine". The highlight were the desserts for sure - we ordered the tiramisu, cioccolato cake and lemoncello cake. All three were fantastic and everyone had a nice end to the meal. I can't decide which one I liked more, so I may have to go back and taste the desserts again. I'd probably stick to the small plates and dessert, since the entrees weren't that appealing to me.
