Dolce Spazio Dessert Cafe

What a fun place to get gelato, sorbet and desserts. Plus, things like shakes and coffee (with lots of options hot and cold)! It's a small place, but very comfortable. There was a huge party there, when we visited. Might have a lot of little table usually (so not sure). Then they bar stools with a counter just as you enter the right. I think they had outdoor seating, but it was so cold!! We went on a Saturday evening, so quite a few people in front of us. We were happy, because we could browse the menu. We tried sorbets, desserts were to go! When we visited - they get the desserts from another local business. This may not always be the case, as they've made them in-house in the past. All were delicious!! I had a mixed fruit sorbet (raspberry, peach, pear...?!) that was divine! Tried their Strawberry Champagne sorbetto - which was delicious, but light strawberry!! I like a robust strawberry personally. I have not received a report on the desserts, but I know the local business and they are the very best :)! Even if they weren't enjoyed until the next day. Harder parts of Los Gatos to park, but you can find something in one of those surrounding lots. Be careful driving down the street this is on - remember our pedestrians have the right of way!Feeling like you need a dessert fix?! Look no further than Dolce Spazio, when you're in town! Enjoy!!

Gelato was excellent and so is their coffee and server behind the counter.I just have one question for the owner:Is not this place required to provide a bathroom for your customers? If not required , shouldn't you have visible sign that bathroom is not available ? Thanks

After getting hot tea here a few times, we finally got to try their gelato. I am a huge fan of their Strawberry Champagne gelato as it is refreshingly sweet (without being too sweet) with that tinge of alcohol-flavor. We happened to get the Oreo gelato on the side, which unexpectedly and surprisingly went well with the Strawberry Champagne gelato. Service is always friendly when we stop by. I think we found a staple dessert/tea spot!

I hadn't been to Dolce Spazio in years. It definitely looked the same inside, lots of delicious gelato options and beverages. I appreciate now they have a lot of outdoor seating - maybe a post covid thing? The service was friendly and fast. We walked in and got our gelato and sat outside. What's not to like? It wasn't very busy in the afternoon on a weekend.

Pros:- Conveniently located in the middle of downtown which makes it an easy place to go after dinner- Mom & Pop shop that has been around forever, so they know their stuff. Priced fairly in the market for gelato. They also have a coffee bar!- Service is great. You can sample the gelatos before actually committing to a favor and there's at least 2-3 people working which makes any lines go fastCons:- Limited seating so would need to be considered if you have a big party- Constantly changing flavors which is good to be able to try new flavors but might be missed if there's a particular favoriteOverall, this place has a great vibe and environment and would recommend to anyone who wants a great gelato joint.

I must declare this is one of those rare occasions that I actually eat gelato or just about anything of a very high price. I was returning back to Los Gatos for a trip back to where I lived in community college and realized it has changed. I must say for a very good price I got some really cool flavors that I don't usually find in my run of the mill shop. I got the Oh Snap and it was like no other thing I ever tasted. The other one was a strawberry champagne flavor. Never tried that one either. The staff here was very nice, I can tell she was patient with me. Must be a native Los Gatosan. They ever threw in this weird biscuit thingy and it was the perfect addition to any ice cream. There are plenty of seats to eat your ice cream but it's better to take it to go. Will come back again if I can.

I got a single scoop of the oreogasm and it was pretty good! I'd say that it was a little too sweet for my taste but there was a lot of oreo in it and tasty overall!

This gelato spot is a staple in downtown Los Gatos. Despite being pretty pricey, the quality of gelato is very good, I particularly like their espresso flavored ones, such as the one with chocolate chips in it. The texture is super smooth and creamy, and has a nice denseness. There is sometimes a line but it moves pretty fast, and they let people sample flavors. There is limited seating inside but you can usually find a spot outside.

We come here often especially if dinner at Golden Triangle was too spicey ... LolKids love: Oreogasmic and I either get Mentaint or the Coffee flavored one.It's a tiny cramped place; at times it's actually not so (ahem) clean (-1 star)They always have multiple staff behind the counter so the line move quickly; unless it's the peak of summer or weekends then this place is packed and overflowing (more than 15-30min wait). They also make drinks and have other option of foods (cakes, cookies etc).Their location is great, but its mainly street parking.

Their gelato is absolutely delicious, I tried a sip of my friend's chai espresso bar, and it was a delightful blend of spices and caffeine. However, during peak hours, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the long lines, which affected the overall service experience. Despite this, the cozy ambiance of the cafe added to the charm of the place, making it a lovely spot to indulge in some sweet treats. Plus, the reasonable prices ensure you get good value for your money. Just be prepared for the crowds, especially during dinner or nighttime.
