Dim sum king has changed so much and I still love it after 6 yrs. The food is a bit different now but I really like how affordable and good the options are. The staff is always super friendly and there's plenty of parking. One con is that this is more of a take out place since there's not much seating at the restaurant.

I was in the mood for some dim sum and decided to finally give this place a try! They're a takeout spot and seemed popular with the locals, there was a small line formed to order.I went with the Har Gow, Siu Mai, Lo Bak Go, BBQ Pork Cheung Fun, and Chicken Feet. The Har Gow and Siu Mai were good, but I wouldn't get the Cheung Fun again. Overall, I thought that flavor wise, everything was okay, but I've definitely had better dim sum. It certainly didn't compare to other dim sum places that I've had, takeout included. So while I was glad to have given them a try, I would opt for other dim sum places before coming back here.

I had really high hopes for this place because I love myself a good dim sum and they have such a wide variety, but honestly it wasn't up to par. I don't know if it was because I went towards their last hour of closing or what, but I got the shrimp and chive dumpling and the minute I bit into it, it was just soggy. The flavor was not bad, but also not great, I just wish that with it being pan fried it would have had a crispy exterior. The eggs rolls on the other hand had a pretty good flavor and were actually crispy. I have mixed feelings with this place, I may have to go back maybe during peak hours and give it another shot.

This is a solid spot that has reasonable prices for reliable Chinese fare. We ordered the 3 plate- salt and pepper fish, chow fun, shrimp and chive dumplings, and sesame chicken. The chicken was a bit too sticky sweet for me, but the rest was delicious. The portions are huge. All this food we shared and we were stuffed!

4.2 stars!Truly still one of the best fast food dimsum spots. They have such an extensive menu. Their siumai is to die for: chunky pork and shrimp pieces with perfect amount of seasoning! And i also loved their juicy spinach and shrimp hargow. And definitely order their wonton soup that was soo huge! One portion came with almost a dozen wontons!

Fast, easy, no frills dim sum place. The line was a but long when we arrived, but moved fast. They have all the classic options. This is not a sit down place, but there are a few outdoor tables. There's a mix of sweet and savory options - menu is extensive! I enjoyed the har gow and the chicken feet!

I grew up eating Dim Sum and I have tried them all; fancy ass Dim sum to frozen bags in grocery aisles, and hidden mom n pop shops. This place is your average Dim Sum Bakery and will satisfy that craving. IMO, It doesn't live up to the original location in Daly City where it's way better and family friendly for dining. The Sunnyvale location is all to go. I Ordered Har Gows, Siu Mai, Shrimp in Bean Curd, Shrimp Fried Balls, Tofu Fah. They were all good, greasy, and as what you expect from a bakery in the middle of Sunnyvale.

Portions were huge and pretty tasty, but nothing crazy. I did appreciate that they had the taro dimsum which was crispy on the outside and had a nice meat filling. That was quite tasty. The chive dumpling dough wasn't the softest or crispy and I thought the radish cake was pretty decent. Overall it'll satisfy dimsum cravings, but nothing special. I really want to come back to try the tofu they sell though!

Standard dim sum items and nothing too out of the ordinary. I liked that there's lots of items visible, so it's easy to pick and choose!

I have visited twice and can say I am a fan. I like that you order per piece so if you're dining solo or don't want to be stuck with 3 pieces in a typical dim sum order. This place is for you! I'm a little picky about siu mai and the ones here are done well. The har gow (shrimp dumpling) skin is a little thick but still enjoyable. Can't go wrong with any of the baked or fried goods and when in doubt, just get one to try. I will point out I enjoyed the baked snowcapped taro bun and the munch and crunch barbecue pork bun - it's a pineapple bun with bbq pork filling. There's no indoor seating so you have to take it to go . Be sure to get hot soy sauce, soy sauce, and sweet-and-sour sauce. I thought the sweet-and-sour sauce was a little different because I haven't seen that at dim sum places, but it actually works well with some of the items. This is definitely one of the better dim sum places for take out that I've tried.
