If you're a fan of a truly incredible chai, you need to make your way to Deccan Morsels. Seriously, it's some of the best I've ever had--perfectly spiced, rich, and full of flavor. It's the kind of chai that makes you want to take your time, sip slowly, and savor every drop. The prices are super reasonable, especially considering the quality of the drinks and food. You're getting a great experience without breaking the bank, which is always a win in my book. The atmosphere is another highlight. The place is buzzing with energy but still has a warm, welcoming vibe. Whether you're catching up with friends or just enjoying your chai in peace, there's something about the lively environment that makes it feel special. It's the perfect spot for a casual hangout.Overall, I'm hooked! Deccan Morsels has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a great chai and a fun time. Highly recommend!

I found my favorite chicken shawarma place in the bay! It's made a bit differently than other shawarmas - they use a thinner wrapper, the chicken is noticeably spicy and there are some crunchy veggies in between along with mayos. Order online and pick up in 20-30 minutes. Given how bad the parking situation is here, I'd order online then go spend 20 mins finding parking and viola the best chicken shawarma awaits. Also, tried the Chai and the bun with butter cream, both are really good. There is something about the Chai they put in, it tastes more sophisticated than the Apni Mandi chai. But I like all chais..

No soap, no toilet paper or seat cover. There were 4-5 persons standing at the counter one of them asked my name during order but didn't care to announce when order was ready. Waited 15 min to ask and got a rude reply that its ready and sitting on their side of counter. A gentleman from their staff or their known was clicking photographs sitting adjacent on a table. Don't know if he was checking the lens's or discreetly clicking customers. Tea is overdose of sugar from a pre made container.

What a cute little spot! The chandeliers were so pretty, and the whole place had such a cozy vibe. Loved the ambiance! We ordered quite a few things, so here's the lowdown:Paneer roll - This came stuffed with loads of paneer wrapped in a soft rumali roti. I miss good rumali roti, so this was a treat! As a vegetarian, I stuck to paneer, but the chicken and shawarma options looked amazing if that's your thing. They also served a decent portion of fries on the side--crispy on the outside, soft inside, with a touch of masala(spices). Just perfect! The roll itself tasted good--not amazing. My partner liked it, though! My major gripe was the red food color--didn't love how it looked. That aside, it wasn't oily(love that), super filling, and came with a ranch-style dip that paired perfectly with both the roll and the fries. Totally worth it!Bun maska - OMG, this was the star for me! Soft, buttery bread served warm with just the right amount of sweetness. It was mild and so satisfying--I'd happily come back just for this! Whether you dip it in chai or eat it on its own, it's such a treat.Bun malai - This one wasn't warm, and the malai was a thinner consistency, as they kindly explained beforehand. It's a little sweeter too. It was decent, but for me, the bun maska was unbeatable. Still, worth trying if you like sweeter treats.Chai - We tried both the Zafrani chai and Irani chai. Hands down, Zafrani chai was the winner! It had the perfect sweetness, and we both absolutely loved it. If you're a tea lover, skip the free chai at Apni Mandi and try this instead--it's so worth it. The Irani chai was less sweet but still great. My top pick? Zafrani chai all the way. 10/10.The place was packed with people, but the staff did a fantastic job keeping up with the crowd.Parking can be tricky even though there are plenty of spots, especially since it's near Starbucks and Apni Mandi.Highly recommended! It's a great spot for a quick stop, and the food, service and vibe make it worth a visit. Definitely give it a try!

Quick trip down to Deccan Morsels and we ordered (just a couple of folks ahead of us and as the sun set the line just got serpentine) the Bun Maska and Irani Chai--both were absolutely magical! The Bun Maska was a true delight, with a warm, pillowy-soft bun slathered generously with rich, creamy butter. It was perfectly toasted on the outside, making for a wonderful mix of textures with each bite. The Irani Chai was equally impressive, with a deep, aromatic flavor that's unique to authentic Irani-style tea. It was rich, slightly sweet, and had a smooth, velvety finish--perfectly complementing the Bun Maska and transporting us right to the streets of India (Hyderabad, Mumbai etc).Deccan Morsels is an express-style spot with limited seating, ideal for a quick, flavorful bite. It can get busy, and finding parking during peak hours can be a bit challenging, though there are spots in the surrounding shopping complex. Lines can form during rush times, but the quality of the food makes it well worth the wait. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a taste of authentic, flavorful bites in Fremont!

Have been waiting to review this gem for a long time. 5 months back spotted this restaurant while I was driving around. I told my wife about this place and we wanted to try it out for a while. Once we got some onion samosa and bun maska which was awesomatic of the aaromale the second time I toook my brother in law and we got some chicken 65 roll and goat dum biryani. It was To go and I didn't get to taste it well but my BIL loved it. Third time ,me and wifey went to have Iranian chai and bun maska, bun was like cloud in the mouth. Irani chai was so good. Fourth time , me and wife went with lot of hunger for Saturday lunch. It was so packed as expected, goat dum biryani was asked to be ordered from the kiosk machine , while chicken 65 order was taken by the staff. Very quick service. 1. Chicken 65 - comes with rumali roti which was so soft, chicken 65 was bit wet but flavourful. My wife being from andhra told this dish was close to what she used to eat in Hyderabad. Trust me it was so delicious and mouthwatering.. we gulped the chicken in no time. 5 out of 5. Must try dish in Deccan morsels.2. Goat dum biryani - here comes the baahubali of all, best biryani ever I have had in the Bay Area. Being a Chennaite, I'm fond of Chennai Biryanis but today after tasting this delicious biryani from Deccan , I must tell you this is the most Authentic Hyderabad food I have had after Dallas. Their meats were juicy and generous pieces were served. Rice was so fluffy and flavourful. Spice level was just right . You get half egg , raita and salaan. Really the OG dish. Will recommend everyone to try this dish and you won't get disappointed. 2 people can share one biryani. There is so much quantity . 10 out of 5 for this dish. Don't expect too much ambiance, if you're lucky just grab a seat and have your food there. You will not regret. Value for money. Overall 30$ plus tax for the 2 dishes for 2 people. Wifey and I had happy tummy with blast of flavours in our mouth.

One of the best irani chai I ever had in my life. The combination of bun maska dipped in the chai takes me back to India. Rumali roti and chicken 65 is must try for evening snack. There is not much place to sit indoor and parking is very limited.Tip: try the chai in the night. The guy in the night shift mixes the milk and black tea with right amount. I stopped visiting during the day time after I tried the chai in the night.
