Lovely Spot for a Quiet MorningMy boyfriend and I visited this place around 11:30 AM on a Tuesday, and it was peaceful with only a few people around. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Our server was fantastic -- super friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about the entire menu. She answered all our questions with ease, which we really appreciated! We started with coffee and sangria. The sangria was so good -- I absolutely loved it! For food, I got the Karaage & Waffle, and my BF ordered the Loco Moco #1. My dish was tasty and satisfying. The Loco Moco was decent, not amazing, but still good.Overall, it was a really nice experience. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a relaxing meal!

This the second time we've been here and it really hits the spot. While some of the menu items aren't your typical brunch place, either way, the food is all really good. I ordered the peppermint hot chocolate and the karage and waffle, while my partner ordered the hearty Darla's burger. The peppermint hot chocolate had good flavor, not overpowering in mint, but to me was a bit expensive at $7 (plus a dollar extra for the oatmilk sub). The chicken karage was really good - chicken was juicy and well breaded. I felt the outside of the waffle could have been a little crispier, but it went well with the sryup, I loved their homemade marmelade. I brought half of the waffle home and it toasted up quite nicely. Darla's burger was so delicious, but so hard to eat. I could barely get a whole bite in my mouth. It was also a bit juicy runny, so the bun integrity got lost rather quickly, but it was still very satisfying. We at first thought we could survive off the side salad, but opted to order a side of fries too. Nicely crisp and well seasoned, you just can't eat a burger without fries. Service was pleasant enough, but they didn't come by to check on us too often. But any time we flagged down someone for some hot water or extra sauce, they were quick to come by and bring it back as well.

Service was fast, polite, and so helpful! Cute place with an even cuter small outdoor patio for brunch on a sunny day. The food was delicious and drinks were immaculate. Bottomless mimosas served here

Ideally I'd give this place a 3.5/5.Darla Cafe is a charming spot nestled in downtown Saratoga. We went for brunch on a weekend and found the place moderately busy with a lively atmosphere.I ordered the Thai tea, which was delicious and refreshing. I also tried the salmon Benedict, which was decent but not outstanding. The bread was a bit tough and chewy, and the Hollandaise sauce lacked the smooth, creamy consistency I was expecting. My friend ordered the crispy stuffed French toast and she thoroughly enjoyed it.Service was fast and attentive, which was a plus. Overall, Darla Cafe is a decent brunch spot to try if you are in the area.

This is one of my favorite brunch places! They offer dishes that not a lot of other places do and I love that they have a seasonal menu. I didn't have any trouble getting a table for brunch but I'm not sure how busy it gets for dinner. I got the shakshouka was much more filling than I thought it was going to be. It was delicious nonetheless. Everything tasted great and came out beautifully. I would love to come for dinner when they do their live jazz music. The space is gives the perfect ambiance for a date night or brunch with friends!

Located in Downtown Saratoga, parking is plentiful and easy to find. The interior is well recorded and there's a good selection of seating. Noise level is quiet but can get quite noisy presumably during peak hours.Darla's scramble (4/5): so yummy. The egg texture was soft and fluffy. The candied bacon was so delicious. The flavor really pulled the scramble flavor together. The cheese added a weird taste though so not sure what was up with that. The flavor could use some more too, but nothing a little ketchup and hot sauce couldn't fix.Overall, Darla Cafe is a great breakfast restaurant. The food is yummy but a bit pricey. Service was great though.

What stood out for me was the visually stunning dishes and the warm and super cozy ambience. It's Asian fusion brunch place so think American brunch classics with an Asian twist! Some of the dishes were rather interesting yet pretty unique. We got the Ricotta pancakes topped with Yuzu sauce, Darla French toast topped with fresh fruits, Shakshuka dunked in Indian spices and Karrage and Waffle. That spicy Yuzu Mayo was aha-mazing! Overall food was decent but definitely Instagram friendly. Tad pricey but still highly recommended!

Darla Cafe is one of the newest restaurant additions to Downtown Saratoga and to the Asian fusion brunch scene. Overall the food is decent though pricey. It does have some interesting spins on brunch that contain some lavish ingredients from wagyu to lobster and softshell crab; which could push you to order one way or another. We came around 11/12p on a Sunday and there was no wait though decently bustling inside. We chose the patio which is set around a large shady tree giving the area a nice ambiance. Keep in mind though that there is no ramp so strollers and others requiring ramps may have some difficulty getting to the patio. The eats:1. Chicken karage and waffle with yuzu mayo. Liked the just-crispy waffle and the karage was overall well-fried though the seasoning was okay. Yuzu mayo could've had been stronger in flavor in my opinion but a nice twist. 2. Loco moco - wagyu beef style. The meat was overall good and the gravy not bad. I don't know that I would've paid $33 for the dish again but it does scratch the loco moco itch. 3. Side of pancake - it was...a normal small pancake with a sprinkle of fruit. What more can I say about it? For $6 I would've desired double the pancakes or a much larger singular pancake. Service was fast. No one really checked on us, but it was brunch (thus casual), service was swift and food arrived fast. Plenty of parking available in sleepy downtown Saratoga.

I understand why some people rated lower due to service. Came here on a weekend and it seemed like they were under staffed. We did have to wait a while before we got seated but I think it is because we came at a busy time. Once we sat down we did not have to wait too long. The staff here are quite nice and friendly! Got the star scramble and the sunrise scramble with truffle potato's and wow it was delicious! The potato's were crispy but light. The omelets were fluffy and hearty. And the bread the comes with the dish was absolutely delicious! Different taste than I imagined in a good way! Did not expect that. Also orders side of fries and wow, really good fries. Very crunchy and very light. I also love the decor here. It is clean, simple and modern. Despite the long wait, I would come back again!
