when i first started dating my partner of almost 8 years, DT dim sum was one of the first spots he introduced me to. i LOVE siumai, and this place has the BEST ive ever tried (and yes, even includes the ones ive had in hongkong & the philippines). the dumplings at DT dimsum are big, so juicy, so fresh, and just so so so so good. it has become one of my favorite spots and will always try to visit every time we're in town.this spot is right next to a grocery store so there's alot of parking out front. for big orders, i suggest calling ahead and doing pickup. the service is fast and the place is super clean. it can get pretty busy on the weekends!

Good: ordered in person and order took 10 minutes. Bad: Food was consistently tasty except it we find it odd to receive 1 hot ham sui gok out of the 3 in an order. Why couldn't they give us 3 piping hot ones. Anyways, the other items were steaming hot. That's my only complaint.

Solid spot for takeout dim sum and congee! I ordered the congee and soy milk--both were good but not amazing. The congee was comforting, though I wish it had a bit more depth in flavor. The soy milk was fresh and not too sweet, which I appreciated. This place is mostly geared for takeout, as there are only a few tables, so I wouldn't recommend dining in. The service is quick, it's a chill vibe. Overall, a good option if you're looking for a quick and convenient bite!

DT Dim Sum & Tea was my family's go to dim sum spot for many many years when we lived in San Leandro. I don't live that far away now, so I'll still frequent it from time to time.Recently, I've seen that they're always busy - everyone loves them! When you enter the store, they have two lines: one for in store orders and the other for phone/online orders. I typically order online ahead of time to cut down wait time. Most recently when I ordered online, it took about 20 minutes which was the perfect amount of time for me to drive over there and wait for maybe 5 min max. This time I got a shrimp dumpling/har gow. Really good but definitely best when fresh. The wrapper gets crumbly when it cools down for too long. Their fried shrimp balls are HUGE. We got 3 orders but we could've just gotten 1 or 2 and been full. I uploaded pictures but I'm not sure if they do the size justice. They've also got a lot of drinks on their menu which I'm looking forward to trying next time!

When i first discovered this place me and my coworker came here 3 days in a row! Its hard to find a good place to eat thats open early enough since our lunch starts 8:30AM! Dim sum never misses and this place hits the spot each time! Shumai, Har Gow and Siopao and mandatory orders and the shrimp balls are HUGE! Super delicious! Oh and the egg tarts...wow! The service is usually really quick and there are two lines for in store order and online/ call orders. The restaurant is located next to a asian grocery store and has plenty of parking! Restaurant is fairly clean has few seatings. Cant wait to come back and order some fresh egg tarts again!

Came here on a Tuesday morning. Wasn't much of a wait to order. I ordered the lotus rice, siu mai, chicken feet, pork & preserved egg congee and beef balls. It took about 5-7 mins for the food to be done. I think most of the items are made to order which is amazing. The dim sum was quick and good! There wasn't much to complain about. They also offer frozen options as well for those that want to take home and steam it fresh themselves. But I do miss sitting down at a dim sum restaurant and seeing all the foods on carts and washing every bite down with tea. Would definitely come back for quick dim sum fix.

This is a to-go dim sum place, don't expect too much, the good thing is there is no line. If you are craving dim sum but don't have the time to wait for a table, this probably is a good alternative. Nothing is quite up to the Hong Kong standard. There are a few tables for dine in. They also offer porridge and soup noodle. Choices are plenty.
