Focusing on one thing and doing it right! They have a limited menu all based on a delicious curry! My favorite is the Menchi (deep fried meat patties). This is super satisfying comfort food!

Food: Large portions and great flavor. I have gotten the chicken curry and pork curry. Both delicious and come with a house salad.Service: Jose is amazing. Getting there at 5:30 is a good idea. There is no rush, and all prepped food is fresh. Both times, Jose has been kind enough to guide us through the menu.Ambiance: Both times we chose to sit outside. Jose asked if we wanted heaters, and wanted to make sure we were comfortable.

Friend suggested this place so decided to try. I've only been going to Curry Hyuga in Cupertino lately so was curious to check this place out. There was no wait and not busy at all Tuesday evening which felt nice. The server had a great attitude and seated me even when full party wasn't there and explained the menu. I got the Menchi as i was craving beef. I wasnt disappointed! The curry is a little spicy and i enjoyed the different flavor from Hyuga. The Menchi patties were very tasty and i loved the combination with rice and pickles and potato. I think the salad would be better not drenched in sauce. I totally forgot to take a pic was too hungry! Friend got the Tonkatsu and inhaled it but said Hyuga was better but i think they taste different and wouldnt mind coming back. The service was top notch! Thank u!!

3.5 rounded to 4! Tried the champ tonkatsu curry ($19), which comes with a small house salad, Japanese potato salad, and fukujinzuke pickles. The curry was creamy, but the flavor was just okay. I was expecting something a bit more special for the price. The salad and potato salad were nice, though. Service was great and super friendly, which I appreciated!

3.5 stars I heard great things about Curry Champ and finally got to try it. I absolutely love their sister restaurant, Hiro Nori Ramen which is just a few stores down. I tried the menchi katsu curry and thought it was okay. The menchi was pretty dry and if you cannot handle spicy food, the curry is a little spicy. You can't change the spice level so you are out of luck if you come to Curry Champ. I thought the curry was okay and there are better katsu curry restaurants not too far away that are cheaper and better tasting. They do add a service charge to your bill and I thought the service was not the greatest. Next time when I come back, I'll try the pork katsu curry and see how it is. FYI, the restaurant is very tiny so don't come during peak times because it will be hard for you to grab a table.

Super cute and intimate curry shop in a busy plaza on Great America Parkway. We were in the area and decided to check it out on a chilly night. Our waiter was super friendly and told us that with traditional Japanese curry, the veggies and apples are all blended into the curry sauce. The menu is straightforward- we ordered the Champ tonkatsu curry and the Champ karaage chicken curry with a side of their edamame. Each order comes with a side salad and potato salad. The food was ready within 5 minutes and smelled amazing. Both meats were extremely tender and paired well with the thick curry. I liked that the karaage was crispy and really flavorful alone too. Definitely a cute spot that adds some variation to the food plaza. Will definitely be back!

TLDR: Good Curry... a little bit spicier than the usual. What brings this to 4 stars is definitely the service. Perhaps it was because I was the first customer when it opened for dinner, but I have to say, the waiter was super friendly and courteous. He asked if I been there before (nope!) and he proceeded to explain the menu. I heard him do the same to the next trio that came after me a few minutes later, so maybe he is friendly with everyone. I hope he keeps that up! He even offered me a return discount, which I will definitely use! I'm in that area quite often. As for the food, I ordered the chicken karaage curry. As I briefly mentioned in the title, the curry is a little bit spicy... which is uncommon for Japanese curry. nevertheless it had a nice creamy texture. The chicken was fried but not that dry inside. Not much to say... the footprint is the same as the previous restaurant (a taiwanese place), so it's quite small. They have a little patio on the outside, but I get the impression this place is mainly for take-out. But this is a good curry place, near Mercado, so I will come back again!

Wow! Amazing service to start the meal. From doorway to seat to food was less than 5 min. Jose helped me out and made sure to explain everything before I ordered in case I had any questions. The food was spectacular! I ordered the tonkatsu curry. I haven't had curry this good since I was last in Japan. Amazing flavor and decent sized portion. I also liked the spicy peppers and side salads that it came with. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone seeking to fix a japanese curry craving!

They do a blended curry so not chunks of potatoes and carrots, definitely an interesting concept. They have 4 options, no main, pork tonkatsu, chicken karrage, and beef mensho. They also offer options for toppings including cheese and eggs, which I love but no options for spice level but they do have a mango habanero sauce and a pickled onion condiment that you can add yourself. I added the mango habanero to my sauce, and while it's good on its own (could be spicier), I don't think it blended well with the curry. Service was good, came by to fill up water several times and they were up front about a 15% charge for service before we ordered so appreciated the up frontness and wish that all restaurants did this so we could make the choice before we ordered.
