My best friend surprised me for my 40th birthday with a key lime cake from Cupcakin', and it was absolutely amazing! The flavor was perfect--just the right balance of tangy and sweet. The cake was moist and flavorful, and the frosting was light and creamy, complementing the key lime beautifully. You could tell it was made with high-quality ingredients and so much care. It was a showstopper at the party, and everyone loved it! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday treat. Highly recommend Cupcakin' if you're looking for something unique and delicious for your celebration. I'll definitely be coming back to try their other treats!

This is my fav cupcake spot!I love the decadent cupcakes with a variety to meet any palettes selection! It's black owned too with a few different locations. I recommend coming early to get them fresh before the sell out or preorder(for an up charge)

That key lime pie cupcake is on another level. The pie crust on the bottom -- divine! My friend got their cupcake flavor of the month (Chocolate covered strawberry), and both of us demolished our sweet treats and were very happy. Great service, awesome creativity and delicious cupcakes. Looking forward to coming back to try more flavors!

Expensive, but great quality but a bit on the sweeter side. Love the sprinkles but the pearls get stuck in my teeth often. Cake is always moist and frosting is always dense. Service is great and staff are always friendly. It's a grab and go establishment. Make sure you eat your cakes fast or else they will not taste as good.

Cupcakin' Bake Shop is located inside Swan's Market. There is always a line but worth the wait! The service was amazing and I love how patient she was when I was figuring out which cupcakes to pick from. The lady that was helping me also said they make cakes which I am planning on ordering in the future. I've been here a couple times already and LOVE the cupcakes here. They have so many different flavors. The cupcakes here are always so moist with their delicious buttercream frosting. The Oreo cupcake and Chocolate Salted Caramel is definitely my favorite!

These cupcakes are SO good!! I shared a box of minis with a group and every flavor (we tried them all) was moist and delicious. I wish there were more locations outside of California as I was just visiting. If you're near one of their locations, it's worth the stop.

The lady working was super nice!! The cupcakes were crazy tender. They fall apart on you (good problems to have) so have a napkin or plate ready! Solid flavors and good size for a cupcake.

These cupcakes are incredible! They are certainly giving Susiecakes a run for their money. They may be my new favorite. I've tried 3 cupcake flavors: Funfetti, Key Lime, and Mint Chocolate Chip. I liked the Key Lime most, followed by Funfetti for a close second, then Mint Chocolate Chip, but all were amazing. Their cupcakes are regularly priced between $5.25 to $5.75 each. But they also sell a few discounted cupcakes that are 1-2 days old (see left side of photo). If one day old: $1 for mini or $3.25 for regular size. If 2 days old: $3 for regular size.The friendly employee told me they opened just about a year ago (last April). Come check it out! This bakery is hidden from Street view since it is located within the Chase Center pavilion, next to the Warriors gift shop. They are open on the weekend. I noticed they also sell a gluten-free cupcake. No bathroom or seating inside, but there's plenty of seating on the bench outdoors, plus I think there is a bathroom somewhere in this pavilion.

I always associate cupcakes with home. Because that's what we would bake. It was cupcakes or cookies etc. So the idea of actually going and buying cupcakes is a foreign idea. Who would've thought to create a spot to get cupcakes? Well I'm glad they did.We came around 4pm and ordered about 10 cupcakes of all the varieties available. I wish I could remember exactly what each flavor was, for sure one was lemon, the others I can't remember the names of. But they were good! Moist, flavorful, sweet cupcakes. If I'm in Old Oakland, Cupcakin is a decent spot in the Town.

This company made a vegan chocolate wedding cake with white frosting for my son and new daughter-in-law. The person I worked with here was incredibly responsive and supportive in helping me with ideas for the cake. I had never had vegan cake before, and oh my goodness! On the day of the wedding, I was floored! This cake was so delicious! I never would have known it was vegan and it was among the top two (I can't decide if this is #1 or #2) most delicious cakes I've ever eaten in my life! The guests also loved it. This is now my go-to company for cakes and cupcakes!
