CRUST - Fresh Sourdough Deli

LOVE this place!Have visited the other location on Tasman and thought I'd give this location a try. The lady that took my order was very friendly and even gave some suggestions as I was wanting to try something new. The bread is so fresh and elevates the sandwich eating experience.Will definitely come back and try other sandwiches.

Crazy good sandwiches. This is what great deli sandwiches should taste like. The sourdough bread is amazing and they stuff them with quality cuts of meat, fresh veggies and delectable mustard spreads. Simply delicious. The hot pastrami special is out of this world. Also, don't sleep on their cookies. They are very tasty. Service was excellent.

I said it once I'd say it again I love when I come to a good spot and I smell what's cooking before I taste it. As soon as I pulled up it hit me and then I saw the long and was happy I pre ordered. I had the sandwich that comes with turkey, pastrami and cheese. The meats are good the cheese is good the bread is awesome. It was def the best part of the sandwich. They also said they make it fresh daily. I thought I would just have ate half but it was too good and I had to devour it like Cookie Monster. They aren't open late and def not open on weekends. So just be aware. Also they carry boylands sodas. If u know you know. And them funktastic chips !

The sour dough bread is hot crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Today I ordered the special of the day which was the hot pastrami! The sandwich was mouth watering delicious. The sandwich shop has inside and outdoor seating. With indoor and outdoor seating we had no problem getting a nice table for 2. Highly, highly recommended and worth every cent.

Omg.. I just had this right now and it was so good I'm writing this review before my lunch break ends LOL. I'm going through a sandwich era and am on a mission to try all the delis around my work place. That's what led me to CRUST. I was doing a quick errand during lunch and decided to order ahead for pickup. I finished my errand a lot quicker than expected so I took my chances and headed there at least 30 minutes before my pick up time. I think the deli is located in between commercial buildings? There were no problems with parking though so all was good with me! I was greeted warmly upon entering and noticed how and nice and welcoming the interior was. There's also seating indoors and outdoors, and lush greenery, perfect for grabbing a quick bite with coworkers. After telling them I arrived a lot earlier than my pickup time, the girl at the front was happy to make my sandwich on the spot for me. I swear it took them less than 5 minutes, and she even hand delivered it to me with a big smile when I sat down!! As a die hard pickle girl, in my "requests" I asked if they could include 1 if they have any. Y'all I am so touched that I received 2 pickles LOL.. like I kid you not this really just made my Friday. Not only that but I even got a cookie too... thank you guys T_T I had a really long week so this was such an amazing start to the weekend!! :') I got the Italian Sandwich with spicy deli mustard and spicy house spread, along with chips (sea salt & vinegar always) as they're a must with sandwiches!! Now I got my two pickles and a cookie too.. I was ready to go IN LOL. Have to say, I love that they package your sandwich with two bags. It just makes sense because you could save the other half using the second bag. It's all in the little details! Second, I'm not ashamed to admit that I killed my sandwich in less than 5 minutes... just about the same time it took them to make it. It was that good. There's just something about sourdough bread sandwiches that hit the spot every time. CRUST does it above and beyond because I enjoyed every single bite. Not a single crumb or crust leftover

YO. This spot is it. Hidden gem in the business district of San Jose. Not really an eat in place but there are seats. It's more an order to go spot with quick and pleasant staff. These were the best sandwiches I've had in quite some time. The hot pastrami special with the peppercinis is one of the best I've ever had, only really beatable by Katz in NY and I could even make that argument. I'm not exaggerating.The French Dip was fire too but if I'm going back I'm getting two hot pastramis instead. I think of it often but I don't work in the area, which is the only negative. Maybe that's my jobs fault and not theirs

I was pretty happy with my meal from crust. It was very conveniently located, near my office, and I suppose you pay for the convenience because a single sandwich is anywhere from $12-$17. The staff were really friendly, and the person who took my order, had some great suggestions. I ended up getting the spicy turkey with spicy mayo and spread. I also did a yelp check in, for which I got a free cookie!The sandwiches themselves are fresh and well made, with a good amount of veggies. However, I felt like the meat was a bit lacking, especially looking at the bread to meet ratio. Perhaps some of the photos on yelp that I saw, had a double portion of meat, and maybe that's why my expectations were higher. I was happy with my lunch, though I'd likely come again more so out of convenience than anything. Given the price, I would've expected a little more in my sandwich. However, I can't complain about the service, cleanliness, or quickness.

I love this place. Started trying out more sandwich shops and it's great.The place has good sour dough and I normally don't like sourdough. Place has solid meats and yo can even ask for recommendations. There roast beef and spicy chicken with pesto if I remember correctly was super good.They cut the sandwich in half for you too! which was nice.Will definitely come back. Fyi: Place is small. There's a lot of seating. Parking is a working plaza.

Dare I say this sandwich place is delicious! I've been going to this place for a better part of a week now, and I can't stop singing their sandwich praises! I ordered their turkey, salami and Swiss cheese sandwich along with their chocolate, coconut and macadamia nut cookie! Wow that cookie is amazingly good!!! I love this place!!!

Pastrami sandwiches are the only sandwiches I eat, and they are my absolute favorite. However, this was the first time I've ever had a soggy pastrami sandwich. I can't believe they serve them this way. Yes, I took it to go, but in over 20 years of ordering pastrami sandwiches, I have never had one turn soggy on the short drive home--which was less than seven minutes.
