I had a hard time deciding where to take a good friend for a very belated Birthday dinner on short notice and after a lot of back and forth I decided on Creekwood. It turned out to be a great decision! Our party had the Little Gems Salad, Burrata, Gnocchi, Cameroni, Wagyu Ribeye and the Corn & Broccolini Pizza. All of the items were between a very good to excellent at a reasonable price point. The show stopper to which my party of 4 agreed was the Gnocchi with Pesto. This was far and away the best Gnocchi I've ever had in my life.. The pesto and seared pillowy potato dumplings were mind blowingly delicious.. The 14oz Wagyu Ribeye at $68 is frankly a bargain in the bay area and something that can easily be shared by two people. The service at Creekwood was exemplary. Out server for the evening was polite, efficient and borderline telepathic...I'm already looking forward to my second visit... Keep up the Great Work Creekwood! 5 Stars All Day!PS: Corkage Fee is $30

Lovely and accommodating wait staff. I always appreciate an offer of a glass of wine when you're waiting to be seated. The good was delicious. Not sure what they put in this brussel sprouts but wow. Crisp and salty sweet. I had the burrata salad with citrus and cumquats. Disappointed in two tiny cut up cumquats and two bites of arugula. I asked the waiter for more greens and he accommodated easily and promptly. Everyone else at our table loved their food. My only complaint about the space is how loud it is. We were struggling to hear our dinner companions across the table.

Came here for dinner with three friends on a Saturday evening. Staff and Service: - Staff was friendly and we had a couple of different people making sure we had a good experience Food:Based on the service, I wanted to like this place more. There wasn't anything memorable about the dishes.- House Salad: this dish was basically a pile of spinach with limited dressing. - Little Gems Salad: this one was better and had more flavor- Wild Boar Sugo: the noodles were good, but this dish was salty overall - I appreciate that they had a few nonalcoholic drinks as well. The Bellini Peach Soda was tastyMiscellaneous:- Parking is available via local street parking - Reservations available- Heated outdoor seating available - Overall, a bit disappointed. It wasn't bad, but not great either.

On a whim, my family opted to dine here on the night of the Super Bowl; and, in true American fashion, the restaurant was barren with many would-be patrons busy spectating one of the biggest nights of gridiron football at home. After getting pretty much immediately seated, our waitress kindly took our orders and offered us still water for the table. The appetizers (Caesar salad and burrata) arrived pretty quickly. The Caesar salad, while pedestrian, was still good and delightfully yet mildly fishy with the anchovy dressing. The burrata was a measly portion, given the whopping $20 price tag, but, the candied kumquats and citrus slices that adorned the sides still paired nicely with the creamy cheese. For our entrees, we ordered the decadent Wagyu ribeye, a lasagna, and a blue cheese pizza. My gripe with the steak is that the bordelaise sauce drowned out the sumptuous, tender piece of meat, overwhelming an already rich cut with unnecessary flavor. Not a fan. The pizza was good but simply cannot contend with the abundance of great Bay Area pizzerias. I appreciated the heap of arugula that sat atop though. And, lastly, the lasagna was just okay but too mushy to see any discernible layers. Honestly, I probably won't return. The establishment touts an Opentable Diner's Choice award as well as a fairly high Yelp rating, but I'm not sure if I can attest to the accolades. The service was great though. We did joke that one waiter, rendered purposeless by the Superbowl-inflicted lack of customers, filled our waters every two minutes.

Came to Creekwood few weekends ago while I was in the area. This place was recommended by a friend that lives in the area and it did not disappoint! We made a quick reservation via OpenTable on a Saturday brunch around 11:45am. Parking wasn't too bad either and parked in the neighborhood area. My friends and I split the eggs Benedict, the sandwich and the Brussels sprouts! Everything was cooked to fresh and delicious!

Husband and I are in Berkeley for the night and took to Yelp to find a good place for dinner. Creekwood it was! We had a reservation for 7pm but arrived a bit early. We were greeted immediately by the owner who was happy to accommodate us right away. The place is small but the ambiance is great. Got a little loud at times but nothing that really bothered us. We decided on the golden beet salad, little gem salad, and the Italian sausage pizza. They asked if we'd like to have the salads out first, to which we said yes, and we requested a bit of extra char on the pizza. The salads were great. My husband liked his beet salad a lot and it ended up being too much to finish. My little gem salad was really good, and really different. The heads of lettuce were served whole, but they were tiny and super cute! There was probably 6-7 heads of little baby lettuce. It came with sliced fingerling potatoes, crispy pancetta, red onion, Parmesan, and a soft egg. So good!! The crème fraiche vinaigrette was different but very tasty. I really enjoyed that salad, though it was a bit of work to cut up each head of lettuce. Our pizza was a bit smallish but it was good. Our only complaint was that the dough they used was very bland and pretty lacking. But the sauce and sausage were really tasty. Service was very attentive throughout. Our water glasses never emptied and they were great about checking on us periodically. We definitely enjoyed our meal and I would happily return.

The Creekwood manager was very flexible to accommodate our last minute party size changes. The service was excellent, attentive, and very patient while we waited for all of our party to arrive. We never felt rushed. We were celebrating our friend's 80th birthday and selected Creekwood due to the positive reviews on Yelp and OpenTable. I was looking for a place that was more personable, where we would be able to hear each other talking. Creekwood has a nice and varied menu. We decided to eat family style so that we could try a variety of dishes. We ordered PEI mussels, Burrata, Little Gems Salad, and Brussel Sprouts small dishes to start. The mussels were tender and flavorful. The Burrata was delicious and fresh. The brussel sprouts were perfectly prepared and was a generous portion. We ordered the Gnocchi large plate and the Mushroom pizza. The gnocchi was soft and pillowy and the basil pesto was devine. The mushroom pizza didn't disappoint either. I wished we could have tried more dishes! Thank you Creekwood for a memorable meal and evening!

First time at Creekwood today and everyone enjoyed their meals. Very easy to make a reservation via calling in.I came in with a group of 6 for my mom's bday and was greeted promptly by staff. We started with the Brussel sprouts and shishito peppers. I got the crab ravioli and they were nicely stuffed with crab. I tasted the pappardelle and next time would get this over the ravioli or try one of the pizzas. The flourless chocolate cake was great, light and not too sweet. The salted caramel and Oreo gelato were tasty as well. Service was nice but we didn't get checked on after all the food arrived. Indoor and outdoor seating available Street parking only
