Country Way

I went here on 11/30/24 around 9 AM. I saw GrubwithMike's review on Tiktok and wanted to try this place. The Host wanted to seat me at the bar but the Filipino Lady told me I can sit at the booth which I am grateful for. More space for me. I forgot her name but she was very kind and kept checking on me.The Country Fried Steak is BOMB.com and Very Tasty! That is all. 10/10. Will come back again when I'm in the area.

The staff and the owner were great. Our waitress was moving a little too slow and we were going to leave but the owner rests us and our waitress was so fast and accommodating.I think because we were in a rush the food didn't have too much flavor but we will be back to give it a real chance.The ambiance was so cute and rustic. I had to take a picture of the wall made of logs.

It's the first time I came here for lunch. Usually when I go to diners like this, I eat breakfast. When I looked at this place, I see that they serve steak fries and peaked my interest. They also changed hours to where they only serve breakfast and lunch. I guess it's because no one goes here during the evening.I'm quite shocked with how delicious the steak fries are. The cheeseburger is even soft and chewy! Not really a lot of people show up for lunch, but they serve good meals though. This will be my favorite restaurant to go to for lunch. Also love the Christmas decorations they put out!

I've only had breakfast here. Good food and good service. Inside the restaurant is a bit darker than what I would like but you can't have everything. I like the restaurant and definitely recommend it.

Great breakfast place in Fremont. I don't think I have ever since their parking lot empty. Portions sizes are great and server was very attentive. We ordered two kids meals (#2), omelette (I forgot which one), French toast platter, and side of pancakes. Keep in mind, they do their French toast differently. I don't know what their recipe is but it's delicious. It's like a mixture of French toast and pancakes. Almost seems like bread is coated/dipped in pancake batter.

This is my favorite restaurant for breakfast. It's like a well oiled machine. Food is delicious and waiters and waitresses are the best. It's amazing how fast your food comes out once you order. You're constantly being checked on and your coffee cup is kept full. The portions are big and pricing is very reasonable. Owner is always present making sure patrons are being taken care of.

OMG, great breakfast place! You walk in and immediately get sat, you sat down, and within seconds get a cup of coffee, and waters! Food came out so fast, not even 10 min. Delicious taste, coffee espectacular, big portions, a 5 stars place for me!

I've been in the east bay for a while now and all the people around me always tell me to come here. Now I understand why it is so highly regarded. This place is hella good and hella accommodating.It's hella dark, but it gives it a cozy vibe which is welcoming. I came here with family to enjoy a breakfast. The person comes around with coffee hella fast. The food was good as well, also they were hella fast. I don't have any complaints. It's an old fashioned place and you get what you want.

We go to a lot of breakfast places. One of my kids favorite foods. I hadn't been to the Country way in a while so when we decided to get some breakfast we chose a place we needed to revisit. We were seated immediately and placed our order. I got the Linguica and cheese omelette with hash browns, the wife got the Greek omelette with country potatoes and the kiddo got eggs and pancakes. The food came out so fast, it was hot and the portions were huge! The place was clean and tidy. But it was seated, food and forgotten about until the check came. Which isn't always a bad thing. This may not be my favorite breakfast spot in Fremont, but it seems to be a lot of people's favorite & there are awards everywhere. Would definitely recommend for a simple, delicious breakfast.

The large A-frame roof beckons you from the freeway. Inside is a log cabin full of cozy comfort food. If you like authentic diners you will love this place
