Continental Caterers

Continental Caterers provided brunch after our morning wedding minimony, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Our venue required us to choose from their short curated list of caterers, and I reached out to three of them. Continental Caterers was the only one to respond promptly and consistently, ask what types of foods we were envisioning, and then send a proposal that actually matched what we stated we wanted. Just from a communication standpoint alone, I knew that they were the ones we wanted to hire. Brittney was our contact, and from beginning to end, she was an absolute dream to work with. She was always so pleasant and professional, and she helped us narrow our menu down to a reasonable amount of food (we wanted to serve way too much lol).The morning of our wedding, we were incredibly pleased at how delicious everything was! We served breakfast burritos, several passed appetizers, pastries, donuts, and fruit, and had a hot chocolate bar as well as tea and coffee. We got so many unsolicited compliments on the food! Continental Caterers also provided the linens and signage for our food and beverages, which made our lives so much easier.I highly recommend them for your wedding or next event!

Many thank to the Continental Catering team who knocked it out of the park catering the Grand Opening of Cirtec Medical's West Coast Center of Excellence In Santa Clara, CA. Morgan and her team worked closely with us to coordinate all of the details, selecting a delicious array of appetizers and desserts for the event. The set-up the day before was quick and seamless. The staff were helpful and efficient at getting everything ready and our customers and partners raved about the food. It was absolutely a job perfectly executed at every level. Thank you so much! They did a great job catering our daughter's baptism reception. Kate who was the event coordinator made every thing easy for us. She helped us plan the menu which turned out great. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. They knew what to do from start to finish. Even the people who run the facility we used told us we hired the best company. We are glad we hired this company for our very special event and will surely use them again.

We hired Continental Caterers for our wedding that was originally set for 2020. We of course had to postpone, and postponing with Continental was so easy. We worked with Mike and then Brittney, who were both so great to work with. Brittney was always very responsive to our emails and with any questions or concerns we had, especially when we had to plan a wedding with changing guidelines! They assured us that they were taking precautions with safety measures, which we greatly appreciated. The food at Continental is so amazing. So many guests raved to us about our food, especially our foodie guests, with the taste, quality, and look. My husband loves their pear salad and was actually looking forward to getting it on our wedding day, and he is not a person who cares about salad. Continental is a preferred vendor at our venue (Los Altos History Museum), so they know the setup and everything, which was an added bonus. Our wedding day went so smoothly, and we are so glad that Continental was a part of our wedding!

They catered a retirement party this weekend and were just great. With Covid there was a lot of calling back and forth and possible changes going on. They were just terrific about it. Turned out we moved out party outdoors and the weather cooperated! Continental came on time and set up all they needed to and the food was great. Their team went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an outstanding catering business.

I just used continental caterers for my wedding in June, and I wish I could give them 5 stars. It has been a pleasure working with Mike, and I would give him more than 5 stars if I can. Mike is very responsive and helpful, and even offered all kinds of advices and tips for the wedding. He always responded my emails so quickly that I wonder if he has any break after he gets off work. He also made my special request of Sangria possible and they were very tasty. On the day of the wedding, he made sure that our food came first and saved boba drinks for us (bride and groom). They were also able to accommodate my vegan guests wonderfully. However, on the day of the wedding, they swapped the sides for the entree. For the chicken entree, it was supposed to be paired with potato gratin. For the fish entree, it was supposed to be paired with orzo pilaf. We purposefully chose that way because the elder people like to order fish, and would prefer something light and refreshing, such as orzo pilaf, to go with it. Somehow, on the day of the wedding, they swapped the sides. I have some elder guests complaining the potato gratin was too salty for them. I actually thought the entree tasted slightly on the salty end. But, I also have many guests complimented their food, and they really loved their salad. Other than that, they did a wonderful service. The presentation was wonderful and their price was very reasonable. I just wished they didn't swap the sides. :/

We had worked with Mike from Continental to provide labor, some rentals, and service at our wedding. We got married at a venue that required a main caterer off of their preferred vendor list, however, we wanted Indian food so we had to hire two separate caterers - Jalsa for the food and Continental for the set up/break down and service. As such, this review reflects no commentary on food preparation as we did not use them in this capacity. Working with Mike was a DREAM. He was so fun and amazing to talk to and extremely patient. We wanted to supplement our apps with a cheese tasting and wine tasting table. He worked with us to select three cheeses and presented them beautifully at the event. This added element brought our winery wedding to life as guests were able to sample wine and cheese during the cocktail hour. While we were not present for set up/ break down, as far as I could tell, all went well with the help of both Mike and my planner. I didn't notice a single item out of place and the décor looked exactly as I had envisioned. Furthermore, since he had worked in tandem with Jalsa before, he knew exactly what items they wouldn't bring and was able to make sure that he had all needed inventory on site for a smooth operation.What blew me away about Mike was his attention to us, the couple. After our ceremony, he was magically waiting for us at the exit with one of each appetizer and our welcome drinks. He waited with us while we had a chance to taste our apps (and get some much needed food in our belly) and breathe for a minute before meeting our guests at the cocktail hour. At the cocktail hour, Mike made a point to find me with all three cheeses from the tasting to make sure I got a chance to try them after all the back and forth on cheese selection! At dinner, he led us to our table through a sea of guests to ensure we got our food and were seated without being derailed. He even knew exactly how to place my dress so it presented beautifully while I was seated. I cannot give enough praises for this magical Mike! He not only orchestrated our day beautifully but was somehow always present when we could use a hand (and made sure we did not have an empty glass at any point!).If I could give Continental 6 stars, I would. We are so glad we selected them (despite never having met them until the wedding day) on our planner's recommendation (the fabulous Denise of Denise Lillie Engagements). Judging by the other reviews, they don't disappoint on the food front either Please give them a shot when you look for someone trustworthy to pull of your big day.

Sent email, heard back once about we will be in touch soon and then ghosted me. So no, cannot recommend this group.

We used Continental Caterers for our wedding this past June and they were fantastic! Due to COVID and schedules we weren't able to do a true tasting of the menu, but we went with the recommendations of Brittney, our main contact while planning everything. The food was delicious! Our main point of contact on the day was also great (I think her name was Lori...sorry! The day was a blur!). She had celebratory drinks ready for us right after the ceremony. We were preoccupied with pictures during most of the cocktail hour, but she made sure to set aside some appetizers for us. She also made sure we actually ate our dinner! They were very open and straightforward with their estimate. Their online portal is also easy to use.They were also very open and communicative while discussing food allergies. We had a peanut allergic guest so I wanted to make sure they would be comfortable - Brittney immediately put flags on all our documents and was happily willing to talk to the guest to put them at ease. Would definitely use them again for another catered event!

Continental Caterers helped us with a pre-wedding celebration with approx 45 guests. Food was excellent and table settings were beautifu! Angelica did a great job of keeping us informed and making sure the setup was done as we had discussed on the day of the event. The staff was very professional and accommodating. Kreshana was instrumental in getting the initial proposal to our liking and Morgan helped communicate it to the team on the day of the event. Would definitely use them again!!
