Coconut Hill Indian Grocery Milpitas

Always clean with a wide variety of Indian vegetables, fruits, fresh snacks and seasonal items for Pooja. We look forward to going to this store every weekend. I prefer this store to the Fremont one, even if this is smaller. This is definitely cleaner, odor-free and skid-free. Customer support is awesome and they try their best to serve you!

Very clean, lots of Kerala grocery items. Found kanikonna (golden shower tree ) flower just in time for our new year (Vishu). Lots of items from South India and unbeatable prices. So glad this opened nearby! Service was quick. They don't accept discover credit card. We will be back soon.

Wide variety of items. Vegetables are fresh. Even the cut vegetables are fresh. Store is very well organized and clean. They also keep fresh meat.

I am so glad Janatha Bazar moved in our neighborhood. This place is clean and is a great resource for working moms. They have a variety of chopped veggies. This saves me a lot of time and helps me to provide nutritious meal to my family without spending a whole lot of time in the kitchen. Besides the staff is very friendly. They have an on sale shelf from time to time. I highly recommend this store. Go check it out for yourself.

Really good Indian grocery store. Good collection of food items - frozen food, fresh vegetables, snacks, spices and more. Very spacious. Super friendly staff. Great prices as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find lots of authentic South Indian snacks here. Best collection of frozen fis that, I have seen in any store in Bay Area, at really good prices. Will definitely shop here again!

We are overall very happy with and will continue with this store in Milpitas.Only concern is, they send Whatsapp messages in their group about certain green leaves ( keerai) and it is never available at the Milpitas store. Please do not disappoint customers with this kind of messages.

Price is reasonable ? BS. The tiny onion samosa selling selling for $1.29 for each. Across the street at the Indian Hyper Market, it is selling for $1.29 for 3, and it is fresh made. In addition, they don't price tag all their items. You have to guess. Lol. Give me a break.

Vegetables are not fresh and it does not have similar items like Coconut hill Fremont. We get good-quality coconuts in Fremont but I have seen worse ones here. [Looks like old stock] Better, we can go to Fremont coconut hill.

When this was Jantha Bazaar, we used to like the store for their decent selection and usually a place to quickly grab missing essentials. However, since the change to Coconut hill, we have seen the store becoming less organized. Recently, they took a turn for the worse when they started restricting return of Straus Milk glass bottles by requiring a purchase of something at the store. These milk bottles were bought from their store and now they are holding on to those $3 bottle credits to run this business. Not a good sign when a store is leaching off another businesses to keep afloat.

Very helpful staff. You can find almost anything. The vegetables are fresh. Amiss ji is very helpful
