Cleanliness Rude service Good food My husband and I sat down at 2:10, I know coz I had just sent a text, the waiter says "order now we close at 2:30. " It was our first time there so we really had no idea what we wanted. Hungry, we quickly rushed through the lunch menu. I panic ordered the sesame chicken, he had Kung pao chicken. Served with steamed rice. Basic right? Food came. My food was good albeit over sauced. The sauce also got thicker and thicker as the dish cooled. Becoming less appetizing as it turned the consistency of paste. The Kung pao chicken was better in my opinion.

One of the most authentic Sichuan restaurants in the U.S.I really love Sichuan food. After had great ones in Chonqing and Chendu, I am always on the hunt for good Sichuan food. In the Bay Area there are only a couple great ones - Chilli Garden is one of them Authentic flavor with some minor tweaks. Highly recommend Chongqing style chicken wings. Numb-y and flavorful. Best!

Great Chinese restaurant for those who love spicy food. The Chongqing spicy chicken was really good, so spicy and numbing. They have a huge menu filled mostly with spicy options and even had the option to customize your own malatang. The portion sizes were huge. The service was nice, and we got a free small dessert as well.

Have been coming here for many years. They used to be a few doors down towards the street side. This newer location is nicely decorated with some comfortable booths.Came here for lunch with a friend because this place is her favorite. We ordered a Spicy Chicken Dry Pot and a Stir Fried Fish Fillet lunch special to share. The lunch special was surprisingly pretty good sized and it came with a bowl of steamed rice. Both dishes were delicious. The fish fillet was very tender and well cooked. The chicken was fragrant, spicy, and tasty. The peanuts in the pot made the dish more appealing and flavorful. Chopped up chicken wings were used and there were plenty of pieces. The two of us couldn't finish the chicken.Service was average. All customers get a bottle of ice tea 康師傅冰紅茶 for free. Prices are very reasonable and affordable. Highly recommended!

I had an incredible experience at Chili Garden. The restaurant was really crowded at lunch time but we were able to sit down at a table right away. We got the mapo tofu, the green beans, and the beef noodles. The mapo tofu was SO delicious, it was numbing but not too spicy for me. The green beans were also a must- perfectly crunchy and garlicky. The beef noodles came out piping hot but they were perfection. The amount of noodles and beef were generous. The food was so authentic and spicy but just right. Overall I thought the food was so good and I cannot wait to come back here.

I am honestly shocked by how authentic their Sichuan and Chongqing dishes are. I had the intestines dry pot and asked them to add potatoes inside and they did. I also had one of the bullfrog dishes. The dishes were all so flavorful and they use a generous amount of fresh peppercorn which gives it a strong spicy and numbing flavor. A lot of restaurants who claim to have authentic Sichuan cuisine don't know how to achieve this strong numbing flavor, but this restaurant does it perfectly. The customer service is excellent, owner is really friendly and checks on customers making sure everything is ok.

I've been to Chilli Garden a few times, always because my Chinese friends recommended it, and I can see why! The restaurant has an authentic vibe that makes you feel like you've stepped into a little corner of China.The food was consistently good, with bold flavors and spices that truly hit the mark for authentic Chinese cuisine. From the rich, spicy dishes to the perfectly cooked stir-fries, everything I've tried so far has been satisfying. It's clear they stay true to traditional cooking styles, which is probably why it feels so genuine.The ambiance is simple and unpretentious, more focused on the food than the décor. Service was efficient, though it can get busy at peak times.If you're looking for a place to experience authentic Chinese flavors, Chilli Garden is definitely worth a visit!

Chili Garden is my favorite place for Szechuan food. I've tried Chong Qing chicken at other restaurants and I still come back to it here because it is the best I've ever had. Their spicy green beans are so flavorful. The service is quick and it usually is decently busy.

Had an amazingly delicious lunch today, the restaurant was crowded but food still came super quick and tasted SO fresh. the shrimp, beef, and fish were my favorite. Will be back very soon to try the other dishes!
