Chef Gilly's Catering

My office did a catered taco lunch from here for ~500 people and it was fantastic. They have lots of vegan taco options- I had tofu picadillo, soyrizo/potato, and veggie fajita, and all 3 were delicious. My favorite was the soyrizo with potato, highly highly recommend. The tacos were made fresh on a grill, along with rice and beans (both vegan) served hot as well. At a side self serve station there were various toppings like onions and cilantro as well as salsas and sauces. I got to have my tacos prepared by Chef Gilly himself. He was super nice and the food was incredible.

Thank you for catering our event! From start to end everything was perfect, including the professional communication and display / set up, friendly staff, and efficient clean up. The fresh made tacos were delicious. Everyone was impressed by the quality of the food and suggested we work with Chef Gilly's again for future events. My only regret after waking up the next morning was not eating more tacos.

Hired Chef Gilly's for my daughter's first birthday and could not have made a better choice! They invited us over to taste test the menu to showcase that they are more than just your hole in the wall taco stand. The Soyrizo immediately caught our taste buds! They put together a great menu and even worked within our budget! The day of the event, they came in, set up, and immediately got to cooking. The wife and I didn't even know they were there which helped that they just wanted us to focus on the party and not the logistics of where they should cook and do forth. All of our guests kept coming up to us saying how good the party was but that the food was to die for! Definitely recommend Chef Gilly's and will continue to visit their restaurant as my to go taco place

I'm sorry for the late review since my event took place in August but these guys are wonderful! The communication was great and the set-up was beautiful, I recommend them 100%

Amazing food! My wife, kids and I love the birria tacos, but all of their stuff is amazing. Oh, and the Aguas frescas taste like the stuff my abuelita used to make. Good stuff!

My workplace put on a Christmas party and had Chef Gilly's cater, and they were great! The two brothers that own the business were there making the tacos, and were super nice and informative. You could tell that they really take pride in what they do. I tried one of each of their tacos (pollo, carne asada, birria, carnitas, and al pastor) all of which were filling and perfectly crispy! All of the meat was juicy and devoid of grease. They have an extensive condiment bar for doctoring up your tacos, Spanish rice and refried beans, as well as these addicting tortilla chips. Everything was so good that I had to go back and get seconds!For dessert, they had a tres leches cake, which was moist, fluffy, and decadent. They also had horchata that was creamy, refreshing, and not overly sweet. If you're looking for some delicious Mexican food for your next event, go with Chef Gilly's!

Great experience overall. Ordered catering breakfast burritos and lunch wrap for work event. Easy to communicate with the team, delivery was earlier than the scheduled time. Each breakfast burrito & lunch wrap was wrapped individually and made it easy to grab and go. Items were placed in trays that made it easy to transport. Received compliments on how delicious the food was and love to support local.

I can't say enough nice things about Chef Gilly's catering. Orlando was super easy to work with and we were able to give my guests a great experience with delicious food. I got rave reviews from all my guests and my only regret is not eating more when I had the chance. We had a variety of proteins as well as rice and beans and a variety of salsa for 100 people.I highly recommend Chef Gilly's for your next event. I would definitely use them again if the opportunity came about.

I was recently referred to Chef Gilly for his taco bar catering service and was able to book him for our annual retreat weeks later and OMG! They lived up to the referral and more. Not only was it super easy and seamless to book and make the catering order selections, but the food was perfection!! I am a Mexican food snob and they managed to surpass my expectations. The meats were so flavorful and tender, the condiments were fresh, tortillas were soft, and the service came with all the serving necessities. Oh and the sides were beyond tasty. What topped it off was the diligence and professionalism of the delivery and set-up team. Miguel and Jose were fantastic to work with. So helpful, enthusiastic and proactive to deliver the best service. Chef Gilly's provided the best catering service I've had, ever! With the best tasting food that made you feel like your abuelita cooked it.

We had Chef Gilly's cater our casual wedding reception recently for ~50 people and they were great! Their team of two arrived an hour early to set up outside our venue, and the presentation was organized (e.g., food labels) and looked nice. Their crew was attentive, helpful, and friendly. The tacos were a huge hit! Our guests also liked the empanadas and juices.
