We just had an event for our formal at the City Hall San Jose Rotunda. They have provided excellent service, and Carmen especially made the whole process smooth sailing. We were working with a tight budget, but Carmen was able to help create competitive prices for our event. They were able to have drop-off catering, and they helped with the dinner service of over 170 guests. With this service, we were able to provide a flow that was efficient and effective for the event. Carmen provided amazing advice during the pre-process of event planning and was there during every rundown the venue required. Extremely fast communication and very helpful for first-time event planners. Could not have asked for better parters than Caterman Catering. My wife and I had the most amazing experience choosing Caterman's as the vendor for the catering of our wedding. It was a rather large wedding of around 250 guests and somehow, they were able to ensure everything was executed flawlessly. We were going back and forth between various catering vendors but were so relieved we went with them! Many of our guests gave raving reviews and compliments after regarding the quality of food and many even said it was the best filet minion they had ever had. From the moment we connected with Carmen, he ensured all our anxiety and questions were relieved. His communication was always prompt, detail oriented and professional. On wedding day, their team was so professional and the head chef orchestrated everything to perfection. I would give the highest recommendation to Caterman's for anyone searching for a catering vendor for their wedding. 10/10

After getting quotes from a number of catering companies, I chose to use Caterman Catering for my daughter's 16th birthday party. Carmen was very responsive and was accommodating to the menu choices that my daughter wanted. Everything was within budget. Day of the party, the person that delivered (sorry forgot his name) was punctual and accommodating and appreciated the extra help we gave given the room had a flight of stairs no elevator. The food was fantastic and received many compliments from the guests. There was so much food left over for the amount of people I budgeted that the guests and us were more than happy to take food home. Definitely recommend!

I had Caterman cater my October 2021 wedding. The processes of menu tasting, menu preparations, and keeping in touch leading up to the wedding were seamless. The food was also delicious according to my guests; I didn't even have the opportunity to grab some Hors D'oeuvres because poof! Everyone ate all of it. (Maybe I was just too busy haha)What really took the prize was the generosity and preparedness that Carmen and his team showed. My sister was in charge of buying and setting up extra appetizers/small bites on the side. But we forgot to buy plates and utensils for this side table! Caterman had planned ahead or were experienced enough to remember to bring these without asking! Way to save the day. I loved how they had experience working with Hakone Gardens as a venue. 1 star was taken off of this review because of a combination of factors - 1. portion sizes (smaller than when we had done the food tasting), 2. Bar (we lost communication about the logistics behind our his/hers cocktails. Watered down drinks towards latter end of the night. But honestly, I should have gotten the ball rolling on these details earlier, it was a last minute decision), 3. 2 guests (bridesmaids) told me they never received their entrees... not sure what was the result or cause of that? perhaps I did have 2 extra unaccounted for guests show up. Overall positive experience.

This owner of this company needs a refresher course in human decency, he's unprofessional and unorganized to say the least, treats the outside agency workers poorly, furthermore the food was nasty and burnt, beware of having this company host your events, there's better catering companies

We used Caterman for our wedding at Hakone. All the guests and I were so impressed with the quality of service the staff provided. We had many comments that "the BBQ was was bomb" and the it was "the best BBQ ever." I will be recommending this catering service for corporate events, parties, and weddings. You can't go wrong with Carterman!'

I worked with Caterman to set up a high tea luncheon for my sister-in-law's baby shower and it was perfect! The food was delicious, looked fantastic, and coordination and setup were smooth. I can't recommend them enough.I will absolutely use Caterman for any and all future events in need of catering!
