Castro Valley Marketplace

This is the best pizza in castro valley with amazing customer service. Definitely delicious food here that will have you coming back for more. Come and check them out. Clean and great atmosphere. Lots of seating. Outside and inside. I want to thank Julio for his help with my request of a special surprise pizza for my family and I. It was perfect. Well balanced. Also the "wise guy" is one of my favorites. Just be sure to tell them what your favorite style is on how well done you like the crust. It makes a world of a difference. Thank you again for your great hospitality and kindness. See you guys soon!

What an absolute disappointment to come here at 5:30PM on a Monday and be told that no one can help me in the cheese section. Seriously, sorry - no it isn't closed you just can't select anything not already pre-packaged!! Don't come here looking for anything custom - choose Whole Foods or elsewhere

...rodents ____ . . . I really want to like the castro valley marketplace, as well as similar new businesses. Unfortunately, I walked in to grab a few items and saw not one, but two large rats scurry by in the grocery area, which raises significant concerns about hygiene and safety. One can only assume that these rats also have access to the preparation and cooking areas within the marketplace.While I hope for improvements and a brighter future for this marketplace, the current conditions are alarming and need immediate attention. I informed a worker but they just shrugged and said " Yeah, we already know about it." It's disappointing to see such potential hindered by such a serious problem.

A very nice, high end grocery store and market!There are also multiple places to eat in here. I saw a bakery, a sushi place, along with cheese and burger options. They also have a very spacious outdoor patio area, perfect for eating, drinking, or just relaxing.When I was here, upstairs had a live band with people hanging out drinking wine!This Marketplace seems like a pretty cool spot in this area, very nice!!

Such a cute market. Whenever I make a trip here, I get some frozen dumplings from dumpling express then pick up some nice groceries. They have a great variety of milk. You can find Strauss and Alexandre milk here. Then on the way out, I can have either pastries or cream puffs. One stop shop.

Was craving for ice cream and saw this next door. We live close by from here like couple miles and I was surprised when I went inside. I always go around this area and pass them but never bothered to go inside since I thought it was just a grocery store lol. It's like a "mini-mini" Eataly! There's varieties of food stalls you can choose from such as coffe shop, baked goodies, fresh meat, cured meats, and they have more upcoming. I went inside the grocery store just to get eggs and milk since I am almost out of it anyways. I love it but still yet to try the food stalls. There's one part with a bigger area and seating which is a Pizza place. Looks and smells sooo good! Then there's an upcoming thats Pho and one something like Mexican. Cool place. I like it. Will come back to try a couple of them so I can update my review.

The place is pretty small and easy to navigate. The Asian dumpling place was out of most hot food items (but maybe because I came around lunch time). The pizza place was fast and delicious. There's also a bakery, a custard bun spot, sushi, a butcher, and a micro market that pretty much sells the same items/brands as Whole Foods. Everyone I interacted with at three different registers was very friendly. I'd be back, even if just for the pizza place, which sold more than just pizza.,

Love seven Hills bakery. Their chocolate croissants are delicious and their breads are out of this world. The addition of Slice the pizza place is a great place for this market.

I haven't made time to check out everything but I come on my break to get pizza or pastries. It's really cute in here with lots of specialty stores. I will make time soon to check out everything.

Cute space that's still under development. The market place itself is really cute, they also have a sushi bar, a delicious bakery, and heard papas inside from what I saw. I can also really appreciate the oil selection, the little makers market, and the wine section! Can't wait to see what else comes to vend here. The market place is just big enough with everything you'd need, a great selection of vitamins, cheese, and more. I saw a lot of vegan items there as well :)
