Capture Coffee is one of three stalls in Fremont's new Food Hall. They have a variety of your standard coffee options like lattes and black coffee, but they also have a more unique specialty drink menu that includes things like avocado lattes and red velvet lattes. Of the drinks we've tried so far, none have been overly sweet, which is a huge win when you're mixing some of these flavors with coffee.Black Sesame Latte. Hands down my favorite drink here. I've searched high and low for a good quality black sesame latte that has a taste that's reminiscent of the inside of a tong yuan but also has a caffeinated kick. Most places make a decent version of this with no coffee, so I was so stoked to see Capture Coffee have this as an option. It did not disappoint. Good coffee flavor mixed with black sesame paste and milk. Stir it up for instant comfort. Also definitely recommend this drink cold so you can frequently stir. I tried the hot version on a chilly night, and most of the black sesame ended up caked at the bottom.Ube Latte. Also a drink that can be in danger of being overly sweet or artificial tasting, but this was the perfect balance.Strawberry Matcha Latte. They recently added a selection of matcha drinks to their menu as well. Not the best strawberry matcha I've had. It tasted mostly of just strawberry milk and didn't have that earthiness that I expect matcha drinks to have, even though half of the cup was matcha. Probably better to just stick to their coffee drinks.

One of the shops in the new "food hall". are the coffees cute? yes, instaworthy? yes, different unique hot coffee top, yes. price... higher end.Had high hopes for this place.. It looks trendy and good when sifting through the yelp reviews... I ordered a black sesame latte, and honestly it's a hard flavor to get right. To get the right consistency without being too gritty or too sweet.Honestly, it was lacking flavor, I think all the black sesame must've sank right away, I picked up and drank it on my way out and could barely taste any sesame. The coffee flavor also wasn't strong, the oat milk overpowered that and maybe the sesame? This location does have interesting drinks that I am not sure goes well with coffee so I haven't come back at $7 a coffee yet, but I was slightly intrigued by the banana avocado latte. MAYBE, i'll be back to try that but I wouldn't get the black sesame latte again.

in Fremont food court - small placeorder at kiosks on the left so you can order from multiple places at once all milk drinks are made w oat milk so bonus points for my fellow lactose intolerant people I guess ?black sesame latte was a lil weird - all the sesame sunk really fast ; coffee also tasted kinda burntube matcha didn't really taste like ube or matcha - couldn't put my finger on what it actually tasted likeno adjustments to sweetness or ice, also no toppings options

My friend and I got the avocado banana coffee and red velvet coffee. The coffee was well made but the flavors and the coffee didn't mix well together. The red velvet coffee was good but was lacking the sweetness and while i appreciate that they use real avocado and banana in the coffee it was disappointing how it was just chunks of avocado and banana which weren't syrups just chunks in the coffee made the coffee feel in-cohesive.This spot definitely had potential and they gave really great customer service as well!

Picked up an iced mocha and black coffee for takeout. No waits in the morning during the early hours. Learned that my stomach can't handle the lactose free milk, just weird, but it didn't taste bad. I've been here a couple times now, and I like that they offer a nice variety on the menu, the products made with care.

This coffee shop is located inside the Fremont food hall so it's pretty easy to find. What caught my attention was their matcha banana latte and it DID NOT disappoint. I'm usually down for the unique flavors so this one was a must to try - it was surprisingly really good. The mashed bananas with the matcha meshed well together and I couldn't get enough of it! But, I'd say it would be better if the bananas were more smashed so the big pieces wouldn't get stuck in the straw and it'd be a lot easier for the bananas to blend more together when you mix it.

Grabbed an Ube Latte to go from Capture since i had my pup with me. Ordered on the kiosk and service was fast. I like that the drinks are automatically made wih lactose free or oat milk. But honestly the ube latte was just average. Ube flavor was there but not very strong... Not terrible, but nothing to write home about! For the price of $6.50 (+tip/tax) i was disappointed. But i feel like thats the going price for coffee now a days. I would be willing to try this cafe again in the future... but maybe a different latte!

We went to capture coffee on a Friday afternoon at the Fremont Food Hall and tried the Ube Latte and Banana Latte. The coffee itself is good but we were adventurous and tried two flavored coffees - Ube was fantastic but I wouldn't order the banana again. I thought it would be made with banana milk but there are chunks of mashed banana on the bottom of the latte that you mix in. It might have been better if it were pureed. The ambiance is nice with lots of tables to sit at. Service is pretty slow. Would come back for a regular coffee!

Visited Capture a couple times now and I'd say they're fairly good. I ordered the mung bean latte and an avocado latte and both were good, though I'd definitely re-order the mung bean over the avocado in the future. The space shared with the other vendors is fairly new; I just wish everyone there was a bit more lively but it's understandable if things are a bit slow. Will definitely consider dropping in if I'm dining nearby. Thanks Team CC!

This coffee shop is a new store in the Fremont food hall. We came o. Opening day and it was pretty busy, but we got our drinks pretty fast. They have the standard coffee selection along with some specialty coffee and matcha combinations. I got the ube matcha latte made with oat milk. It was a pretty good balance of ube and matcha. I'm curious about the other specialty drinks and can't wait to try more!
