Steve and Emily were wonderful to work with. They catered our Celebration of Life event for our mother, and it went flawlessly. Steve was very accommodating with the menu. And thanks to Emily, the food was DELICIOUS! My family will definitely use them again!

Steven Goldstone, chef-owner, and Emily Bolmen, executive chef, provided a fantastic appetizer themed food extravaganza for a baby shower I hosted. Their food choices were wide. Because we had a few food allergies, Steve and Emily were very familiar with substitutions that could be made. The food offerings were attractive and delicious. Also provided were simple drinks in attractive dispensers - iced tea, lemonade, and iced water. The caterers arrived on time, and finished set up with time to spare. I was also able to rent tables, chairs, and table linens from them that they set up and put away with help. I found Steve and Emily very easy to work with, very knowledgeable about food, flexible, with first class service. I will gladly hire them for a party in the future!

The Italian buffet was delicious and portions were just right and even had leftovers. We got chicken piccata, braised beef, penne primavera and roasted potatoes. Many guests of our party commented on how much they enjoyed the food. Pricing was great too. Would definitely recommend!

California Catering did not disappoint. I called and had the pleasure of working with Steve. I was planning my Brother-in-law's Celebration of Life and needed catering for 125 people. I told him what I was looking for and he and Emily sent over an email with menu options and pricing, one call back to fine tune the menu and all was taken care of. They did a beautiful set up and arrangement of the food, labeling what each dish was, provided the linen and came back and did the pick up at the time I requested. The guests complimented the food and how tasty it was. I highly recommend Steve and Emily, they are wonderful and reasonably priced.

No questions needed. If you need a caterer for your special occasion, this is your go to catering service ever. Will definitely order from here again. Such a delicious BBQ food. Their beer cheddar bread and briskets are top-notch! Thank you Steve for your timely setup and such fantastic food. All the guests complimented their food and asked twice which catering service we used.

We used California Catering Cafe for a Hawaiian themed celebration of life on 4/28/2024 and highly recommend them for the quality of their food, their presentation of dishes, their customer service and their reasonable pricing. From our first inquiry to the day of the event, Steven Goldstone responded promptly and thoughtfully to questions and requests. Special requests for gluten free items and environmentally friendly set up were easily accommodated.

I used California Catering Cafe for my dad's Celebration of Life, and they were very supportive and kind, bringing tons of tasty food that everyone enjoyed. They were on time, quick to set up and take down and brought containers for people to take leftovers. Such a wonderful experience, would happily use again. Steve was great as my contact person and made the entire experience smooth.

Outstanding menu, incredibly delicious food and outstanding service. Our Holiday party was a huge success and California Catering did a fabulous job. We had plenty of food (lots of leftovers) and a very happy tummies! I highly recommend this caterer and will use them in the future.

We were searching for a caterer for our son's wedding who would be flexible with the menu and provide a blend of the two grooms background and heritage (American/Jewish and Venezuela/Peruvian). California Catering researched and had us sample their Arepitas (a Venezuelan dish). Thumbs up from our chef/now-son-in-law on the recipe. When the flowers of the wedding cake were smashed (by us) in transit, CCC's crew came to the rescue and patched it up with our fresh flowers Steve, Emily and the team were flexible and attentive to the needs of the family and the two grooms. The food and service were lovely, they arrived on time, were helpful throughout the event, and they did all this within our budget.Thank you Emily, Steven and Team.

This has been the best experience with catering! Steve's food is amazing and very plentiful. He is accommodating, reliable, and professional. From setup to completion, this was a meal everyone enjoyed! I highly recommend using California Catering Cafe!
