I'm from Calcutta and everything I had here reminded me of how Indo-Chinese tastes back there. This is the best stuff I've had in this country, on any coast. Over the course of two visits, I had - chowmein (noodles), fried rice, chili chicken, chicken lollipops, street chicken roll, pani puri, mishti doi. Every single thing tasted on point. If I were to recommend dishes - the pani puri is a perfect little starter, and the roll is an evening snack you can rely on. The chicken lollipops are also perfect to share. For something heavier, I'd do fried rice/noodles + chili chicken (or any other protein). End with mishti doi which is sweetened yogurt (and trust me you'll need it, no matter what spice level you ask for). I'd recommend everything, and would also recommend trying things right there in the parking lot if you can. A lot is lost in a takeout box. Their spice levels (for the chicken entrees) are on the higher side by default so make sure you ask them to lower it if you're not a fan of spice.

This is a 2.5 star review. You know I recently reviewed a the main location when we first tried this food truck. I gave it a great review. We went back again because it was so delicious. However this time this food truck did not live up to the first time we had it. The fish filling is as thick as one side of the breaded bit. Although the flavors are good this did not taste great as it was 2:1 bread to fish. It was a bit mushy. We also got their French fries which was another let down. We had to air fry them and we live just down the street in walking distance. Probably will not come back because it was such a let down. You can add the following to your review:The inconsistency was disappointing, especially since our first experience was much better. Pricing isn't bad but we expected a higher quality. Unfortunately, both the fish and fries weren't as amazing, and it felt like corners were cut this time around. It's a shame, as we were looking forward to enjoying a local spot, but this visit just didn't meet our expectations.

We tried the Pani Puri (phuchka), chicken lollipop, chicken chowmein, chicken chili and Veg Manchurian.I cannot recommend any of them. The Pani Puri lacked any punch while the chicken lollipop was doused in sauce and tasted of tomato ketchup. The chowmein was overly done and all the food lacked flavour. The prices are on the expensive side for what they serve. 9$ for 2 pieces of ketchupy chicken lollipop is ridiculous.

Yum. YUM.Ok, I spent (what I consider) an insane amount of money on 5pcs of lollipop chicken, I was actually quite shocked and upset with myself until I was eating one. SO GOOD.Gobi Manchurian was good, very flavorful and was that crunchy yet soaked with sauce experience.Bhel was sad, dry, oily?

Absolutely recommend if you want to experience Kolkata/ eastern India street foods. Amazing food quality and taste. The service is humbling and cordial. We ordered the following:1. Fish fry(4/5): crispy coating, flavorful, juicy and authentic Kolkata taste with the mustard sauce and the tomato ketchup.2. Chilly chicken and Chilly paneer (4/5) : very nice flavor profile, a bit on the green chilli spicy side which adds the authentic flavor unlike other Chinese food trucks whose same dishes will have red chilli based flavor. 3. Veg Chowmein/noodles (4/5): Thin noodles with Hakka flavor, less oily and takes me back to Kolkata street food experience. Plenty of noodles and not just crap cabbages and veggies like the other food trucks selling indo-Chinese food. Location(3/5): can be better but I understand they are at a starting phase, so lot of logistics to think about. Hope they get established and continue to provide Bay Area with Kolkata style street food with a better location to gain more visibility.

Was really excited to try this place and it delivered on two out of three things. The fried fish tasted authentic. The chow mein too. The chicken roll fell short. Perhaps I thought this would be like the roll/Frankie on Park Street. Also, the sauces were missing for both noodles and the roll . The fish mustard sauce was spectacular, but too little..Now, only if they did, Mishti doi or rossogulla!

I was excited to try this food truck as it specializes in food from Eastern part of India(West Bengal specifically). We arrived during lunch time and were greeted by Somu who was polite and friendly. Ordered the below items, Chicken egg roll - 9/10 taste was delicious and super filling. Best to eat when served hot or the wrap gets little soggyChicken fried rice - 10/10 mild spicy, tasted just like the Indo chinese food back in India. Our favorite Chicken chowmien- 7/10 the flavor seemed off like missing some salt/sauce, couldn't put a finger on itChicken lollypop- 7/10 the sauce that it is coated with was very flavorful. However the chicken drumstick itself felt a bit doughy to eat. Maybe fry a little bit moreFish fry - 8/10 perfect balance of spice but again eat while hot so it is still crispy Overall, we enjoyed the food and will come back to try other items on the menu

Fast service. We got fish fry, egg chowmein and chicken lollypop. Our friends got the chicken egg roll. Everything was fresh and well made, fish fry was fresh, well flavored and crispy. One of the best egg chowmein we have had. Good thin noodles, fresh vegetables and not overly sauced, just how it should be. Chicken lollypop was crispy and well flavored. Tasted the egg roll it had good quantity of chicken and good sized paratha. Both people working were approchable and friendly. Would definitely go back here.

Tried their paneer chili on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor profile, the quantity provided, but not so much by the oil content in the dish ... will we go back, yes! To try the other stuff. The gas station area it is parked in seemed a bit sketchy.. something to be watchful of.

Solid Indian-Chinese food. Would recommend! We had - Gobhi Manchurian (a bit too spicy for us; wonder if we could have asked for medium spice. But very flavorful) - chicken lollipop - chilli paneer - chowmeinAll very good.
