Delicious Cake and Great Value!I discovered Cakes and Bakes through a friend's daughter's birthday party, where their "Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse" was a huge hit - super moist and heavenly!For my kid's 4th birthday party, I decided to try them out. Ordering was straightforward: call/message or visit in person. I called a month ahead to secure my spot and sent reference images for a Frozen-themed cake.The store is spacious with plenty of snack and food options, including a live pani puri stall. Ambiance is average.On pickup day, my order was ready on time. The cake was cute, but not an exact replica of my reference images - detailing could be improved. However, my 4-year-old didn't notice, and the cake quality was amazing!Special mention: the Elsa and Anna dolls on top are Amazon-bought, just regular dolls. But the Olaf was handmade by this store, and it was a lovely touch!Price was decent - cheapest among other places I inquired. The 10-inch cake served 35-50 people. Flavor was outstanding, and guests loved it!Next time, I'll opt for a simpler design. Will definitely order again!Payment: Cash

My friend recommended the samosas at this place and I am happy I trusted her good taste. The ordering process here is simple: head to the counter, order with the cashier, grab your food, and enjoy. The whole experience was easy and laid-back.Let's talk about the stars of the show: the samosas. I ordered four samosas, and wow--easily the best I've had in the bay. They come with a duo of sauces: a sweet one and a spicy one that adds just the right kick. The samosas are vegetarian, with a hearty potato base, and I could have kept eating more despite being full. Next time, I'm going to try their chai as well.Parking is a breeze--free lot in a strip mall, so no stress there. Inside, the vibe is clean, comfy, and there's plenty of seating (perfect for a chill Tuesday afternoon like when I visited).TL;DR: If you're into amazing samosas and casual vibes, this is your spot. A lot of well maintained place. The only place I go for eggless cakes. A big fan of their fried snacks, pastries and chaiChat is relatively new addition and my friends speak high of them.Whenever I come here, I take regular and onion samosas, few pastries and chaiFood is very fresh if you are there at most by 6 anyday

An average place (even in India, so that's good!)I ordered chicken tikka sandwich and egg puff.The egg puff is nice, although the puff pastry tastes a bit bland and old! There is half egg inside (like deviled), but missing the yolk! Kind of strange!The chicken tikka comes with potato chips (my suggestion to skip things from store bought, either give fries, or don't give nothing). The chicken tikka is a bit dry, the bread is toasted and grill marked, although not cut it half completely (the bottom bread was still fully attached, it was a mess when I took the sandwich as I thought like the top bread, the bottom was also halved). There is one tomato slice, one onion slice, and two lettuce leaves in addition to generous chicken (albeit dry). The tikka tastes nice, mildly (moderate for non-Indians) spicy.

Good cakes, veg puff, and love their paani puri and masala puri over the weekends. Ambiance: okay

I like when shops have Vegan options . The options are nice . Cake was yummy . Staff is nice , prices are fair

This is an acceptable choice for eggless options, but superior-quality cakes can be found elsewhere. I was not impressed with their bread--the mango cake was excessively watery, and the Black Forest cake I requested for a birthday appeared with stretched layers. service is fast.

I am not one person who does a lot of tasting and testing around but love to leave a review when I enjoy something. Was to get an eggless cake for my dad's birthday and had no time to shop around. Had a cake from them a couple months earlier for a friend's birthday and I loved it then too. Remembered the taste and went with my gut to buy one from here. Mango and Black Forest were the two options they gave me. Mango being dad's favorite, I stuck with the same. I can say one taste of it leaves you craving for more. Quality was great and the freshness of the cake made us enjoy it almost till a week later sharing some with friends . Not that it couldn't finish but it was a big one for our party of 4. Thank you guys and hoping the quality stays the same always. Great service. Must have for sure.

Great cake, exactly like I visualized simple and vibrant , very moist and tasty (ordered white forest and Chocolate) and looked stunning!
