Cake Expressions

We used Cake Expressions for our wedding cake, and we enjoyed the experience!Cake was not something we cared about, and were originally going to skip it, but after going to the free cake tasting and seeing their prices, we decided to get one in case any of our guests wanted it.They were straightforward and easy to work with, and their prices are super affordable for the Bay Area. On our wedding day, they delivered the cake as agreed upon, and our coordinator and florist worked with them to make sure it was decorated. We didn't even think about it until it was time for the cake cutting!

Our family was having a party for around 70 people and I decided I wanted to have a small dessert table spread. I reached out to multiple bakeries to inquire about pricing for a variety of desserts and prices were so high compared to Cake Expressions.I reached out to Cake Expressions via email just to get a quote on how much it would be for mini cupcakes. I had the pleasure of having a conversation via email with Katherine! She was very sweet and gave me all the information that I was looking for. We were even able to discuss what kind of cupcake design I wanted (gold dusting). Katherine was also extremely patient with me as I had so many questions! As for the pricing, they are very affordable and fair! I decided to buy 36 mini guava cupcakes, 36 mini mango cupcakes, and 36 brownies!We decided to pick up the desserts ourselves because delivery to the venue (Milpitas) would have been an extra $40. When I went in to pay for the cupcakes the week of the event, another lady helped me and I saw the order that Katherine had been putting together for me! I loved that she was detailed in what kind of design I wanted and she even attached a photo of an inspirational photo I sent her via email.Out of the 3 desserts I ordered, I think the brownies were my favorite. For the guava and mango cupcakes, unfortunately, the flavor wasn't very strong. The guava cupcakes were pink and the mango cupcakes were green. The mango cupcakes ended up staining a few teeth and a few lips of some of our guests, but it came out after a quick wash.I would definitely order from Cake Expressions again! And thank you Katherine for helping me with my order!

We got our wedding cake via Cake Expressions and it was the best decision. They are a preferred vendor with our hotel but we didn't expect to meet such a sweet owner, to have such a hard time picking a flavor we preferred (just barely got it in before the deadline), or to have multiple guests come up to us after the day to tell us that the cake was so yummy. They also did our design perfectly and with hardly any direction other than a few notes. All in all a great experience working with them.

Came to visit the famous Cero for cake tasting for our upcoming wedding and it was an awesome experience! We came by on a 6:30 pm afternoon and were promptly greeted and seated by Cero. He brought us out around 12 different cake flavors to taste which were all awesome and delicious with tons of variety! There were fruity flavors as well as chocolatey/classic flavors not to mention other varieties as well. It was such a wonderful experience it didn't take us time to book our order! This is a mom and pop shop so don't expect fancy but expect homey and delicious cakes! Definitely support this awesome business and meet the man Cero himself!

As we started our wedding planning, I was most excited to taste cakes. I was excited to go to all of the cake shops in the area and eat all the cake that I could - but sadly that dream didn't come true because we went to Cake Expressions and it was so damn good, that we didn't need to go anywhere! Cero has an incredible gift - our cake not only looked amazing, but tasted amazing. We went with all the cakes as we tasted them - Carrot Cake, Tiramisu Cream, and a Chocolate Raspberry - they were all delicious. We got so many compliments as well - I will definitely be back to Cero with other cake needs, but highly recommend him. Flowers were placed by our florist, Flowers by Janet.

Beautiful cake for our family's baby shower. Came out exactly as I had wished for. I chose the mango cake and absolutely divine. All my guests loved it. Thank you so much!

Great cake, attention to details and they went extra miles for this remote order. I live in another state and phone ordered a birthday cake for my son who is a freshman at Santa Clara University. It was on a short notice (day before) and Cero from the store helped me to quickly come with the idea of the cake and made it on the day of delivery. I received a picture of the cake prior to the delivery which looks great. When the first attempt to deliver did not work (due to my son missed the call), Cero didn't mind going back another trip after store hours to make another delivery. All in all, I am impressed with Cake Expressions professionalism, quality and superior service attitude!

We love them! All the cakes and tarts and desserts wonderfully done! We had our wedding cake,daughter first bday, and other celebration desserts made beautifully and always so warming staffed:)!

I emailed them a few months before my wedding and the owner Cero replied immediately and scheduled a cake tasting for my family since I live out of state. His team served my family and were so patient and kind to them. The staff was amazing and answered all questions they had. They also warned us about teeth staining since that's what black frosting does to you. They suggested that we use fondant so people could peel it off the cake. Day of wedding, they delivered the cake a hour before the ceremony started as requested and set up the cake on the table. Cake was delicious and everyone loved it!! I highly recommend them! The detail of design and size was perfect :)

We loved our experience with Cake Expressions for our wedding this past August! They were very responsive and helpful during the cake tasting answering all of our questions. The whole process was easy, and their prices were reasonable as far as wedding cakes go. The end product turned out exactly how I wanted it, even though I made some more last-minute changes to the design, and they did a beautiful job arranging the flowers on the cake that the florist provided. The cake was also delicious, and we were able to have each layer be a different flavor!
