"This is my Thai spot in San Mateo. I've eaten at the restaurant and ordered here via door dash here several times. The food here is really good and affordable. The restaurant is a bit small, so reservations are encouraged for larger groups. Parking here is a bit tricky unless you park at the parking lots. The service here is great and the food comes out quickly! Would recommend here for some good Thai food!"
"Great people, the tea tastes amazing and overall the food is awesome. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the Asian Cuisine"

"Just like its name, the food here is absolutely amazing! This place is super close to my home, and I've passed by so many times without trying it, now I wish I had known sooner just how incredible it is. Everything we ordered was delicious! The portions are huge, so depending on your appetite, one dish can easily be shared between two people. We had the house-made garlic bread, and wow, even Italian restaurants could take notes from this place! We also tried the vegetable laksa noodle soup, chicken lemongrass noodle soup, Thai Massaman fried chicken with rice, and Massaman shrimp with rice, all absolutely fantastic. For drinks, we ordered a round of boba drinks, and I loved the crème brûlée one! Mine was super sweet since I ordered it at 100% sugar, but I'd definitely recommend cutting it to 50% for a perfect balance. The staff was polite, the ambiance was cozy, and just a heads-up, come early because the wait times can be long. Highly recommend this spot, and I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes!"
"This place has been on my radar for a bit now, finally got to try it and it was smackin! The portions are big here so it is great for large groups sharing. We ordered 4 dishes with 2 heads and it was def too much, but we wanted to try a few new things recommend by the super friendly server. Papaya salad, Lao sausage, pineapple friend rice and these stuffed tapioca balls (recommended). Everything was so bomb and the leftovers were still . Will for sure be back to try more dishes and bringing back up (more friends)"
"Was craving some Thai food and I had this spot on my bucket list for a while so I knew I had to slide thru so here I am.I started off with some tapas. The dragon balls and the chicks on a stick. The dragon balls were pretty good. I like how it had the right amount of spiciness to it and that it wasn't overpowering. The chicks on the sticks (chicken satay) was also a hit. I also ordered the Panang curry w/beef. The Panang curry has a nice blend of sweet and savoriness to it. For drink, I ordered the Thai tea and it was delicious. The service here was really good as well. My waitress Bella gave me a great rundown of the menu, was attentive in checking in, and often refilled my water. The restaurant itself is small but it is very nicely decorated. All in all, a nice authentic Thai spot. I definitely recommend checking this spot out! Try it out if you like. :)"
"Came here on a Saturday evening, got seated right away. Friendly and attentive staff. Love the ambience, clean and spacious. Food was delicious and large portions! Will def be back!"
"Our party of four was really wowed by the food at Thai Grata. Everything is served "family style", so dishes to share. We ordered Pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Spicy Eggplant. It was nice that we had the option to choose our level of spiciness, so we ordered the Spicy Eggplant "mild". One member of our party has a variety of food allergies, but the staff patiently answered all questions and were very accommodating, and made the Pad Thai with gluten free soy sauce for us. All three dishes were fantastic! All four of us thought everything was delicious, and my companions tend to be pretty particular. The restaurant is in a strip mall, and with so many glass windows, I was constantly aware that I was in a strip mall. Pretty casual atmosphere. The ceiling is pretty high, so when it got more crowded, it was much louder than I would've liked, but the food is totally worth that inconvenience."
"Fantastic place to eat especially if you know your Thai food !!!Great service and the ambiance is great."
"I've been coming to Neecha Thai for over 20 years, enjoying their FBI (Fried Banana with Coconut Ice Cream) dessert with my dad when I was younger and graduating to the veggie version of their Pad Se Ew once I grew up and went vegetarian. They cook their tofu perfectly--firm, browned, and delicious! Nestled amongst a pile of well-seasoned eggplant and basil or strewn atop a bowl of yummy Pad Se-Ew, it's everything you need and more. The Thai Iced Tea is another well-balanced gem: sweet enough without being overwhelming, and always wonderfully smooth. I also love their Veggie Rolls (the fried version... I'm not a Spring Roll type of girl.)The restaurant is a small, pretty intimate space with small wooden tables and chairs and an open kitchen heaving the fragrance of spices and herbs high in the air. (Not in an overpowering way, don't worry.) All of the staff there are absolutely sweet and have always been for the decades I've been coming. I'm glad to see that they're an Oakland spot continuing to thrive and I definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a taste of some quality Thai made with love."
"This is a regular favorite for our family! It's our go to Thai spot in the neighborhood."
"I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE. Every single thing I ate was perfectly balanced and delishhhh! The workers are super sweet. I love the decor of the place & it's in a good location on the main street. The fresh shrimp spring rolls were definitely fresh & crunchy. It's a great appetizer to go with a heavier entree with carbs because it's light & fresh. I had the Nam Khao which is the crispy rice with lettuce wraps. It has crispy rice, pork, carrot & peanuts. You load up your lettuce with all of these and it's a bite FULL of flavor. My friend had never had this dish before and she looooved it. If you're looking for Thai food in the area - look no further."
"We came to Thai Spice on a Wed night. There was no wait and 3 other people seated. They always greet us with smiles, and they are very pleasant. When reading the reviews and looking at the poor quality photos, I think they are getting a disservice. We ordered Chicken Satay and Roti (unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo, so I had to lift one off the internet). The Satay is fresh and delicious. The condiments that come with it are also very tasty. The Roti was warm and flakey. The same peanut sauce that comes with the Satay comes with the Roti. It's thick and not watered down like another reviewer stated. Our entrees were Chicken Ra-Na with Broccoli instead of spinach (the guys favorite-fresh thinly sliced chicken and broccoli perfectly cooked with a thick peanut sauce), Pumpkin Curry - Veggie - medium spicy (always delicious - super fresh and loaded with veggies. The pumpkin squash is cooked so it falls apart in your mouth) hopefully someday it will get back to being served IN the kabocha, and Spicy Spaghetti - Veggie - medium spicy (fresh and delicious - think of it as Thai tasty chow mein with lots of delicious healthy veggies and not greasy like chow mein). We ordered white rice and shallot rice. The shallot rice is cooked in the pan with the shallots, so it takes on a crispier texture and darker color. We loved our meal. We didn't appreciate the loud table next to us of two women complaining about the price of the peanut sauce and how they don't eat rice or noodles (not sure why you would come to a Thai restaurant then). But it wasn't the restaurants fault for their lack of situational awareness. We've always loved Thai Spice and have never had a bad meal there or takeout. The pandemic REALLY hurt their business, so please give them a try if you're in the area."

I've been going to Chai Thai for years now and I always have a good experience. I recently took a friend who was in town for a work trip. (More people means more dishes to try!) We ended going with the Kao Nam (fried rice ball salad), papaya salad, spicy green beans and tofu, green curry, and larb. All the food was bomb per usual. I know with Chai Thai you're always gonna get solid portions and tasty, well-seasoned food. I had no complaints and the servers were all helpful.Mind you, the Oakland location is relatively small, so it can get a little tight if they're busy, but I still dig the vibe. I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking for solid southeast Asian food.

Delicious food in a pretty, charming restaurant. Dropped by on a Sunday afternoon with my brother and we were seated right away. The place wasn't too packed but there were a number of parties already seated. The menu is pretty extensive, so be prepared to be perusing for a while. I went with the Thai massaman curry with grilled beef ($16.50), the black pepper garlic noodles ($12.00), and the twins berry jasmine boba ($6.00). Everything had to be ordered via QR code, which I am absolutely tired of.Another knock against this place: the service. While the food came out in a decent amount of time, the drinks were unacceptably slow. I was already halfway through my meal before they came to the table, and I'd already asked for them twice. When the waitress brought my entrees, I asked if I could add a Coke to my order. She said no problem. And then the waiting game began for reasons I can't explain. They were at least apologetic when they finally arrived because they recognized the wait was significant, but I got no explanation for why it took so long.Service in general was super transactional, likely due to the QR system where the waitresses are reduced to just dropping your food in front of you and disappearing. That's not an excuse for not coming around to check on guests and ask if they need anything, which wasn't happening at all anywhere in the restaurant. They didn't seem busy to the point where this wasn't a reasonable expectation. The food was worth it though. The curry was rich and flavorful, the beef was tender with that delicious grill char, and the garlic noodles had a great peppery taste and weren't too overwhelmingly garlicky. I just wish they'd used regular potatoes in the curry instead of the sweet potatoes, which were too sweet and too soft and didn't seem like a good pairing with this dish. The boba was a generous size and was just so good. Not too sweet, great berry mix, and the boba had a good chew.I'd actually be ok with coming back here again because the food and boba were genuinely memorable and there's much more on the menu I'd like to try. But next time, my expectations surrounding service will be much lower.

A hidden gem in Alameda serving up some of the East Bay's most authentic and flavorful Asian cuisine. If you're looking for genuine flavors that lean toward the savory side (especially compared to sweeter Thai interpretations), you've found your spot. The space itself is wonderfully open and inviting, with an visible kitchen in the back that adds to the transparent, authentic feel. The all-women staff runs a tight ship, maintaining attentive service even during the busiest rushes. Yes, it gets bustling and the noise level can challenge conversation when full, but that's just testament to their well-deserved popularity. They've thoughtfully included both table and booth seating, plus a big TV for sports fans.Let's talk food - their Crispy Spring Rolls are a must-try, perfectly complemented by fresh lettuce wraps and herbs. The Green Curry hits all the right notes, and their Pad Thai leans beautifully savory rather than sweet. For something unique, try their green tea variation on Thai iced tea - a delicious twist on the classic. A huge plus: they accommodate dietary restrictions, including gluten-free Pad Thai upon request.Pro tips:- They only take in-person wait list sign-ups- During peak times, expect 10-30 minute waits- Parking can be challenging on busy days- Portions are generous, justifying the slightly higher prices- They offer delivery for those nights you can't snag a tableWorth noting: while the prices might seem a bit high at first glance, the portion sizes more than make up for it. I've become such a regular that I alternate between dining in and delivery, and the quality remains consistent across both.Coming from someone deeply familiar with Filipino cuisine, their flavor profiles are spot-on for those seeking authentic Asian flavors. This place has earned its status as one of my top picks in the entire East Bay area. The occasional wait and energetic atmosphere are small prices to pay for food this good.

Situated in the finest neighborhood of los gatos and amidst the most happening street, is this amazing and welcoming chic thai place where reservation is highly recommended. I used yelp to join the waitlist which cut my wait time to zero! They have awesome outdoor seating with heaters and comfy indoor seating lending a good ambience and backdrop for a perfect meal.We were cordially greeted by the staff and they took special notes for all allergens and made sure we had everything we need. Loved the hospitality and friendly prompt service.Pro tip: they have happy hours 4-6pm everyday (all 7 days) so definitely order discounted dragon balls and chicken satay while u are at it.In $90 (before tip), we got:- dragon balls 2 portions - 5/5- yummy delicious spicy chicken balls served with lettuce, cilantro, cucumber and lime. Absolute delight! Hence, we ordered another one afterwards!- chick on stick - 5/5- chicken satay 4 pc served on skewer on top of a fresh pineapple (u can cut it and eat it later too) served with warmed up peanut sauce and shredded cucumber carrot salad- Penang curry chicken - 5/5 - i love spicy so it worked for me but just to clarify, they don't adjust the heat in case u were looking for mild. It doesn't come with rice, which makes it slightly more expensive.- steamed white rice - 2 portions 5/5 - regular stuff $4 each- young coconut juice - 5/5 - fresh coconut water which was refreshing and had no added sugar.- lychee martini 5/5 - decent taste and good ratio of alcohol. We found this gem in the happy hour menu too :)- thai iced tea 3/5- good presentation but lacked taste. Also i wish it came "not stirred". I like it when i can stir it and see the change in color myself. I have had better at a better price than this, given the quantity. We were celebrating a birthday in the group and the staff went out of their way and got us a mango sticky rice dessert on the house with a candle and sang too. that was too sweet :) very kind of them and much appreciated by me!Clean cutlery, friendly staff and clean restrooms make up for everything and it was a memorable visit for us. Definitely coming back to try their sea-bass (they were out of it today) and pad thai.

This was my first time at this restaurant and it was quite enjoyable! The restaurant has a nice calm vibe and is dimly lit. Parking was easy to find and it wasn't busy on a tuesday at 5pm. We got the tom kha soup which was very flavorful and delicious on a cold day. We also tried the thai prawn salad which was fresh and the shrimp were seasoned nicely. The pad thai was my favorite, it had a nice flavor and the crushed peanuts were on the side so you could add them to every bite! For dessert we wanted the mango sticky rice, but they said the mangoes were out of season so instead they offered us sticky rice with fried bananas which was pretty good!

"Our favorite Thai place for years! A true gem in San Leandro! Food is amazing. The times that we dined in, the staff are all amazing and friendly. Great service! Orders placed through Doordash are on point."
"My friend recommended Simply Thai to us since we were craving Thai food. We came on a Saturday evening and got seated quickly because they were not too busy. The restaurant was not too big, but it was clean and cozy. The staff was nice and friendly, too. They were helpful when we had questions about their menu and kept checking on us if we needed water refills. We ordered Red Curry Chicken, Tamarind Chicken Wings, Pineapple Fried Rice, Fried Banana With Chocolate, Fresh Rolls, and Sweet Sticky Rice with Fresh Mango. The red curry was delicious. It had some heat which I appreciated. The tamarind chicken wings and fried rice were also great. The wings were sweet, tangy, and sticky. The sticky rice was good, but the fried banana was a hard pass. It was okay; the batter was good, but the banana didn't taste fresh. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed our visit to Simply Thai. The service was great and the price was reasonable."
"Note this review is for a meal we had before the news of the sudden departure of the chef. So sad to hear of this news, what a great loss for Oakland and this neighborhood. I read the article from former staff. I am shocked. I don't want to support a restaurant that mistreats staff. Sanitation issues, so many other things that show a lack of integrity from the top...you'll have to read the article yourself. I have to say, the customer service we received from staff was great, and the food was great...where it goes from here on out though, no one knows. Hope they can get it right, clearly many locals love this place. The food was so tasty! This place has been on our list to try ever since it opened and for my brother's birthday we finally made the visit! Our family of four shared everything family style (the best part about going out with a group is you get to sample a little bit of everything). And although we were a little shocked at the smaller than expected portions, we were actually quite full at the end! I do recommend family style for this place. Here's what we shared:-Crunchy Catfish Salad: shockingly small portion and the catfish was unexpectedly served in a crumble style instead of chunks of meat as I imagined it would, and a little too sour for me but it was still delicious and definitely earned it's name--crunchy! Due to the sour nature of this dish, I would not recommend anyone order this as their main, definitely share it.-Massaman Curry: vegan dish, sweet, sauce was so good we asked for more rice to finish off the sauce; although it was good I'd probably go for a meat curry next, as a carnivore I did miss my meat in my curry.-Drunken Noodles: loved the smokiness, sweet flavor, brisket was cooked just right (medium rare); glad I shared this dish because I think the smokiness could get overwhelming had I had the entire plate to myself-Stir Fried Japanese Eggplant: tasted great but the outer skin was a little tough, wished it was cooked more thoroughly although I can see some other people enjoying itFor dessert:-Blue Rice Pudding w/ Mango Sorbet: so good, my favorite of the two desserts we ordered! I really liked the variety of textures--blue sticky rice, crunchy sticky pandan rice krispies, sorbet, mango pieces. Can never go wrong with mango and really loved the unique pandon rice krispies (I'd seriously purchase a bag of those)!-Corn Sundae: very unique, sweet & salty flavor profile; don't order if you don't like any sort of bitterness (the mock fish sauce was a little bitter, similar to bitters in a drink). I'm a big creamy corn milk fan, less of a coconut fan. I felt like the corn part was a little overshadowed by the other flavors. But that might just be me, my brother said this was his favorite of the two.Birthday boy got the Samarai Sun cocktail, which he liked! I tried a sip, and it was really refreshing and light. Would make for a great summer drink. The cocktail menu is pretty expansive, so many flavor combos that I'd love to come back to try. Great customer service. No birthday specials, but they kindly put a candle on the dessert that we ordered. Seating is pretty limited, and busy even on a weeknight. Note that they do take reservations, so it would be a good idea to make one in advance. Since we didn't make one, we were given the outdoor patio seating, basically coffee table seating, but within 5 minutes of sitting down to study the menu another table opened up and they offered that to us! The place is very modern/hip, and the unique asian fusion flavors on the menu reflects that. Didn't realize it was in the 2024 Michelin Guide until we got there. It's rated Bib Gourmand, which means quality food for a reasonable price. Not sure what the future holds for Jo's now that staff and chef are gone. We will be following the head chef Intu-On Kornnawong and where she goes next (I hope she stays local)!!"
"The 11th Tiger is a hidden gem in the sleepy downtown of Danville. They offer delicious food at a decent price. Actually it's easier to find a value meal here than a street parking spot even on a random Tuesday evening. The other thing you can find is a huge menu selection. Just when you thought the selection is vast on the front page you flip it around and see there are more to choose from. It took awhile to decide but we finally ended up with the Roti & Curry Dip, Crispy Roll, Angel Wings, Pad Thai and BBQ Chicken. Not the most traditional selection on my part but it was what we were craving. Honestly, I would select these items again if I came back. Everything tasted great and fresh. All the sauces that came with the appetizers were really good. The Pad Thai noodles were flavorful. On top of that the service was on point. Food came prompt and water cups were never empty. The restaurant is perfect for parties of four. I didn't see tables bigger for parties of 6 or more. Perhaps they combined them together. The restaurant is not that big. It seemed like a lot of people come here for takeouts. During our time there people came in and out for their pickup orders. Give them a try if you're in the area and you're craving some good Thai food."
"This hole-in-the-wall random gem is so out of place at Vasco Rd and 580. Nothing there but gas, fast food, and this wonderful restaurant. I live at that intersection, let Altamont/Brentwood traffic stare at tail lights and try this place.KHAO SOI GAI!!!!!You probably haven't had this dish before at your average Thai place, it's not on the menu. I beg you to try it if you want something unique. It's like thai curry met ramen, with noodles and pickled vegetables melting together in a creamy coconut chicken soup. It's like eating pho though, once you mix, you gotta eat it meow, but they will package in all it's pieces so that you can get the full experience at home. Only restaurant within a mile of my house worth leaving a glowing review for. Cherry on top, their service is top notch. The rest of the menu is excellent in flavor and quality, but mostly common items. It's a street food place, and it's street food tiny, simple, and tasty. Expect a satisfying meal at a decent price no matter what you order."
"Been here several times. I enjoy the food. It's very "Americanized", far removed from genuine Thai cuisine. More like Asian Fusion. It's a popular spot so service can be a bit slow at times but not too bad. There's parking in front and back of the store."
"Best Thai food I've had in the East Bay! I'm thrilled to have this go-to spot in Alameda. The portions are not enormous, yet they are satisfying, especially if you value authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. Over many visits, both dining in and taking out, every dish I've tried has been flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service is consistently friendly and professional, making each visit a pleasant experience. They don't shy away from spice, so if you are sensitive to it, make sure to mention."
"This place was so yummy....... or should I say YIMMY!!!!!!!! The ambience was great, super warm inside, great big windows and lots of people. Service was excellent, food was even better. Duck soup. Green curry. Pad Thai. Crispy rolls x2. Fried rice. Tom yum. Papaya salad. We are stuffed!"
"I've been here more than a few times and have also ordered a party tray and each and every single time the food was delicious. Every single dish I've tried has been amazing and kept us wanting more!! Their fried chicken is always fried to perfection. It doesn't taste/feel greasy. Same with their calamari. Their staples are always a hit--pad Thai, khao soi, fried rice, curry. All super super delicious. Service is always quick and friendly. They also recently renovated so the spot is a lot more spacious and open. This is our go to Thai restaurant!"
"Was looking for lunch after a shopping session near San Carlos, and Isarn was an amazing find. This place will rank very high of all the Thai restaurants in the peninsula. The restaurant will hold a fair amount of people and the space was pretty cozy, aided with all kinds of Thai and holiday motifs. Big bonus for having their own parking lot.The menu was very extensive, and I appreciated the availability of the lunch specials. The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew captured the right flavors, the dumpling in curry sauce and fried tofu were hits with the children, and the basil beef rice plate was fantastic. The Praram Chicken could have benefited from more flavors. The special papaya salad dish was surprising with all the extra meats, but be forwarded that their spice levels are right at par on what you would expect in the Thai culture. A level 2 spice is far more than a tickle. There were two servers for a weekday lunch, but they were very attentive to all the patrons. This was a great experience and worth another drive back to get more."
"After a nearby doctor's appointment, I stopped by this location for a quick drink. They have two options for milk for their Thai Iced Tea-- coconut milk or standard. I went with standard with light ice. It was very good -- not too sweet! There is plenty of seating and street parking. I can't wait to come back to eat here."
"my family and i loveeee the food here, you can't get that smokey and authentic flavor and char on thai bbq anywhere else! and the shrimp? don't even get me started: juicy, plump, and has a great texture and bite to them every time we ordered them and are a must have in the fried rice! this restaurant is located in a small plaza among other restaurants and a filipino supermarket, and there's plenty of parking. usually when we go, there's not many people sitting down to eat inside the restaurant which means it's pretty quiet inside. however, there's so many people who come for to-go's and pickup orders, i can definitely see why. the prices aren't that bad, ranging from $11+ to $15/$16 per item (from what i remember). they also have lunch/dinner combos during certain times too. you have to come here if you love thai food or sala thai! thai bbq is almost better than sala thai in some ways or equally as good, make sure you come and try this place out!"
"We've been here a few times to Sala Thai 3. Though, we usually go to the original Sala Thai location. Parking is plentiful in this plaza. The restaurant is smaller and intimate. The decor is simple with a few paintings/pictures. One restroom only.Pad See Ew: Stir fried flat noodle with egg, broccoli, and choice of meat (chicken) with sweet soy sauce (3.5/5). The noodles were soft yet had a nice chew to it. The other ingredients like the broccoli and meat was sparse.Spicy String Bean: Sauteed string bean, carrot, bell pepper, and basil with choice of meat (beef) in chili garlic sauce (3.5/5). The default spiciness is mild, which it was. Though, they did bring out the condiments of Thai chili, etc. The string beans were cooked perfectly. The beef needed more tenderizing.Crispy Fish With Sweet Garlic Sauce: Battered and deep fried filet rex sole topped with sala Thai sweet garlic sauce (5/5). Definitely a Sala Thai favorite! Sauce goes well on Jasmine Rice too!Yellow Curry (chicken): Yellow curry paste in a coconut milk with onion and potato (4/5). Creamy, thick curry waiting to be spooned over the steamed rice on your plate.Jasmine Rice (4/5). Cooked perfectly.Thai Ice Coffee (4/5) - i like it the way they prepare it here. My friend likes it sweeter and asked for more condensed milk."
"Our food was really good. The girl helping us was one of the best waitress ever. Prices were good for the area. I like this place a lot."
"I have eaten at many Thai restaurants, but this one has wonderful UMAMI!!!! We ordered: Tom Yum Soup, Chicken with Basil, Pad Thai, and Green Curry. This was my first time experiencing Tom Yum, the soup arrived in a container with a flame in the middle!! Kind of exciting!! The steam with hints of lemongrass and ginger were whirling around the pot!! My nose was happy with the wonderful smell from this soup!!! I ladled the soup into the bowls, observing the ingredients, chicken, mushroom, lemongrass, ginger. My first taste: mmmmm, lemongrass!!! Ginger!!!! Lemon or lime???? Yummy!!! My taste buds are very happy with the UMAMI!!! SCORE!!!!!! New favorite soup!!!Next to taste was the Basil Chicken, I asked for extra basil, I LOVE BASIL!!! I could tell I was going to enjoy this dish even before I tasted it!! The sauce was a dark sweet sauce, The basil and chicken seemed to dance together on the plate!!! DELICIOUS!!!!! I have had this same dish at other Thai Restaurants but not this tasty!!!!!! I could not stop serving myself this dish with steamed rice!!! I even thought about this dish after leaving the restaurant!!! The UMAMI flavor was filed in my brain as YUMMY MUST REPEAT THIS DISH!!!!These two dished were so loved by my taste buds they did not want to try the other dishes!! I pretty much only ate these two dishes!!!!!I want to return to Thai Village to try more items on their menu!!!! But I know which two dishes I will be ordering definitely!!!!!Sorry no photo of the yummy Tom Yum Soup"
"Perfect for Sunday lunch not crowded plenty of parking space food are delicious and tasty Courteous and friendly staff"
"I've been wanting to try this spot for awhile and glad I finally got a chance. I came in on a Friday eve around 7. There is a shared lot for parking. The space is not huge; I grabbed a spot by the window and noticed there are a few outdoor tables as well.I ordered the fried oyster mushrooms as a starter and went with the fried catfish larb for my enteee. the waitress asked how spicy I wanted and I chose to go with mild. The mushrooms came with a dipping sauce. As far as alcohol there is beer and a few wines to choose from. Everything was good and service was attentive."
"This is without a doubt one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Bay Area. Every dish is packed with flavor. Exceptional service. The star rating definitely shows. Really good all around. Share your dishes so you can get more variety."
"Back in the day when the Emeryville Public Market was not fancy like it is today, I got addicted to pad see ew. The flavors were fresh, you could see them making it to order. Along with a Thai iced tea, I was in heaven. Since the re-do of the market, there hasn't been any Thai food that has met my expectations. So with Infinite Thai around the corner from my parent's house, we had to give it a try. It's good but can never be the same as back in the day. Don't you hate it when you are spoiled with something amazing and try elsewhere and they can't compare? How do I move on? Today I added chicken to the order and it's fine. Chicken is not dry, noodles are soft and carrots are cutely cut. Could have used more veggies as the filler if they are cutting back on the other ingredients. The portion is quite small to me but isn't everything these days? It satisfied my craving and the order came quickly as I came in after lunch for to-go.Support the local businesses!"
"I drive by this restaurant all the time never got a chance to sit down for a lunch time weekday time. Lunch special time, parking was horrible when you have 10 food establishments on one corner I expected it. I had to park literally at Habit Burger. This place is walkable from Kaiser Permanente San Ramon so you see lots of nurses medical staff picking up to go orders. Inside is decorative , clean very well and chill Thai vibe. It's got a water fall etc and other Thai stuff. You wait until you're seated by the host. No wait today but a few open tables on a Thursday lunchtime. We were given menus right away and iced water was given without us having to ask for it. A plus, I noticed no condiments on the table however also noticed tables were being cleaned right away . Let's get to the food I opted with the avocado curry with shrimp. The curry was great and shrimp was abundant. It was large portion so I go plastic container with lids for leftover. Looks like it is a family rum place, service and ambience was good. Prices were fair with 2 entrees no appetizer and a 18% tip it came out to around $50. They bring the credit card machine with the tip percentage s screen to your table . For my first time visit -only issues were problably the parking strain and the also the bathroom was out of order. Thai taste is a wonderful Thai option and a welcome addition to San Ramon. For next time, for sure I will try dinner with the steak and also order dessert it looked good on the picture on the menu ,the sticky mango."
"The owner here reminds me of Apa from Kim's Convenience lol. All kidding aside I like this small Thai restaurant. Always good to eat here they are friendly they are fast and most importantly their food is really good. Lots of people love Sala Thai in Fremont l, but I personally think this place is better. Can't go wrong with Thai food though. I just think this is a smaller place and doesn't have the popularity as the other restaurants. If you want Thai food give this place a try. You will not be disappointed!!!!!"
"I came over to California, for my husband's doctors appointment. We stopped for the night in Livermore on our way back home, and we both wanted Chinese Food. We ordered takeout and they were Zippity fast!! We were starving. We ordered Pad Thai, chicken Satay and veggie egg rolls. The food was delicious, really good!! Yum! Their sauces of Chili sauce, satay sauce, soy sauce were delicious. Very good food. We enjoyed our dinner after we found a place to camp overnight in our camper van. Food hit the spot. Thanks!"
"I'm pretty stunned by the mid reviews. I really enjoyed this place! It feels more authentic than a fusionized Thai place. It's a straight forward casual restaurant with no frills. They aren't trying to upscale. They bring you cozy Thai food. Service was fine, nothing spectacular but they're friendly. Chicken satay - one of the best chicken satay I've had in a long time. Chicken was flavorful and moist. Chicken eggplant stir fry - it was good, nice flavor profile. Khao poon - my fave! Love khao poon! Rich flavor and nice blend of curry taste. I highly recommend getting this!"
