"The Mexican inspired sushi is my favorite here. Multiple flavors and proteins to choose from."
"Been coming here for years, I love Tu Mero Mole and looks like they expanded their eating area so that's exciting! Huge huge huge fan of their orange sauce (it's peanut based) and 10x better than la Vic's not to mention their burritos are 100x better in the first place. Portions and prices are solid. 5/5 not much else to say, try it for yourself"

"Omg! The food was great! I got the super burrito and it was amazing. I can in the morning and there was no wait. Plenty of seating. The restaurant is a bar too and had a lot of space in the back. I will definitely be coming back."
"My brother introduced me this place when I was recently in town visiting. We came for a late lunch after an Oakland A's game (the last one at the Coliseum). And it's clear that this is a local gem. I had the ceviche tostada and the carnitas loaded nachos. Well, I probably should have stopped at the tostada which is a huge portion and could be shared for 2. It was fresh, really good. I liked the carnitas nachos, but I think I was already so full from the ceviche that I couldn't full appreciate the nachos. The unlimited Horchata was also awesome!! Will come back when I'm back in town!"
"Both of my drink favorites are always at Taqueria Las Vegas...Agua Fresca Melon and Horchata! The service is always nice and friendly here!"
"Great spot for some street tacos. I swung by one afternoon for a quick lunch and they had plenty of tables for a small shot. Very quick service and helpful staff"
"We came here on a Friday evening for dinner. There was free parking attached to the restaurant which was convenient in downtown Hayward. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, so we were able to get seated and order food quite quickly.I got the ala carte chile relleno for ~$6.95. The batter is quite eggy which is different from other chile rellenos that I've had, but it still tasted pretty good. The chili is stuffed with cheese which went well with the sauce.Meanwhile, my friend got the $4.95 cheese quesadilla chicas. It was a simple crispy quesadilla that's filled with melted cheese and topped with bits of salsa and guac. This was actually quite a good deal if you want something tasty but not too big."
"GENERAL VS REGIONALI found this place by accident as I drove to eat at another eatery close by. After my meal at the other eatery I wanted to come to Los Carnalitos to give this place a try. When I entered Los Carnalitos I noticed the items on the menu were different from any Mexican eatery I ate before (later I discovered the food specializes in cuisine of Mexico City). What kind of items should I order? I came with intent to order items that did not have picture on the menu for delivery. I wanted to try something new.The first time I came here was the last Saturday of March. I ordered the gorditas that had a picture on the menu. Also I ordered the quesadilla de azteca, which didn't have a picture on the delivery menu. When you don't have a picture in mind what an item looks you don't have a premonition what the item will taste like. The gordita was tasty, but the quesadilla de azteca was better of the two dishes. My experiences with quesadillas are they have grilled marks with melted cheese. The quesadilla de azteca was the first time I ate this style as the cheese were crumbled. The second time I ate tostadas de pata and huarache con costilla. These items had no pictures from the delivery that's why ordered them. I like the tostada. The pata (beef tendons) had that slimy texture, but I never found it offputting as the lettuce and cheese contrasted that texture. By far the haurach con constilla was the tastiest of the two dishes. The beef short ribs on the haurache con constilla rivals with other beef short ribs I ate at a Korean or Hawaiian eatery. The third time I came here I ordered the tostada tinga de res and pambazo de chicharrón. The beef on the tostada was ok. The pambazo is like torta except the bread is marinated. Even though the bread was marinated it was crispy. That was an unexpected texture. The pambazo I ate at Los Carnalitos is better than any tortas I ate. The next time I came here I ordered the torta because I heard this place is known for their tortas. I ordered the salchica torta as I never expected turkey sausage was part of Mexican cuisine. The torta is tasty, but it pales in comparison to the pombazo because the marinated, grilled bread is more flavorful than a regular grilled bread. One other item I ordered was the churros. I've had churros at stadiums or other eateries where the quality of the churros was stale. The churros at Los Carnalitos are probably the best I've had at a restaurant. The portion is big while the churros are crunchy and moist. The drizzle of the sweet, condensed milk brings additional flavor to the churrosThe last time I came here I ordered two items I had in the past I liked: pombazo and churros. The pombazo I ordered this time was the traditional, which included chorizos. Overall Los Carnalitos Restaurant opened my palette to Mexican cuisine. Los Carnalitos Restaurant specializes food from the Mexico City. Most of the Mexican restaurants I ate at didn't focus on a regional cuisine but a general food of Mexico. Trying something new doesn't have to be adventurous but have an open mind. The best items I ate at Los Carnalitos were the quesadilla de azteca, haurache con constilla, pambozo, and churros. If I crave for a regional cuisine of Mexican food I would go back to Los Carnalitos Restaurant."
"Our first time here. Such great food, great hospitality, and excellent service! Not as crowded or rushed as some of the other breakfast places in Fremont (where it feels like they're just trying to cram as many people in a space as they can). We didn't feel rushed to want to finish and leave. Our server was so friendly and helpful. The place feels like a friendly family run establishment. We can't wait to come back!"
"Fast and friendly and super sized burritos! And don't forget to make it wet for $2 (if you're eating in, of course). Free chips and decent salsa bar. Only complaint is they can be a little light on the meat. I notice some of the complaints are from people ordering fried fish, salads.. come on... stick to the staples, people. Quesadillas, burritos, tacos... Good stuff."
"Ok... so I've been coming to Taqueria Extra for some years now and they have become one of my favorite Mexican food spots. I only have 2 favorites. There's something that stands out about the chorizo. I usually get if I order a breakfast burrito or if I order a crispy taco (you gotta add sour cream to take it to the next level).Good selection in their salsa bar. I love their pico. I've even ordered the large containers for parties.Service- friendly. Even when calling in phone/pick up orders. My last order from them was menudo.WOWI love menudo and theirs blew me away. The broth had so much flavor. The amount of tripe that was given was very generous. Soup to tripe ratio- perfect. I ordered this to go and the broth was still hot, hot when I got home. THAT is how you're supposed to serve soup!"
"I am so glad I picked this place for a group dinner! The first thing that stands out is the huge, welcoming patio. Absolutely immaculate vibes, and perfect for when the weather is nice.Next, the service was fantastic. Grace and the chef Omar made our night super special by checking in on us, continuously refilling our chips and salsa, and preparing some amazing food! We ordered the chicken fajitas, the taco salad with chicken, and the shrimp super tacos. Everything was so good!Highly recommend. This would be a great place to have a big group of people / meet friends, date night, or enjoy a solo meal!"

I came with my family on a freezing Sunday for lunch and, let me tell you, we appreciated the outdoor heaters! Upon being seated, we were each served with a delicious cup of caldo de camaron. This was a great touch! I ordered the shrimp ceviche, which was fresh and delicious. Great service by Romi, too! We'll be back to try one of their great deals during the week!

Was craving a hearty soup and I remember such good things about this place years ago when I was still in a high school. Decided to give it a try, and wow I'm glad I did! The pozole was soooooo packed with ingredients. Especially the chunks of chicken!!! We also got the chicken quesadilla, and we loved the grilled flavor of the chicken. Chips + salsa were complimentary! Service was amazing :) and the restaurant is large and roomy. I would definitely return!!!

The reviews did not disappoint! The location had me a bit confused, then I realized the restaurant was within the bar. I ordered the bean dip and chips and the super chicken tacos. I took my number, then headed to the bar for a drink. The friendly bartender assured me I would love the food because in her words "it's hella good!" she suggested a drink that tasted like a watermelon Jolly Rancher, rimmed with Tajin. I can't remember the name, but it did indeed taste as described, and not too sweet. The dip arrived first and I couldn't stop eating it, even after the tacos were placed in front of me. Those creamy, flavorful beans topped with Cotija cheese and pickled jalapeño peppers and carrots were absolutely addicting. The fresh, warm chips and dip combo would have been enough for me, but I moved on to the tacos. They were deliciously sloppy and full of flavor. The place is spacious with plenty of parking, it's a must try!

Ordered to-go. Really enjoyed their tacos. Good amount of food in the 3-tacos plate and it came with chips, salsa, sour cream, rice, and beans. Solid Mexican food and I love their bottomless chips and salsa station when you dine in.Friendly service. Simple and casual interior.

Came here for dinner to catch up with a friend. None of us have been here before but heard about it through word of mouth. Los Carnalitos is located in the same plaza as Target off Whipple. There's enough parking but I can imagine it getting difficult during meal times and at times when target itself is busy. Once you enter, you order up front, pay, then they will bring your food to your table. We ended up getting quite a few things: asada tacos, gringa, choriqueso, and quesadillas de carne. The tacos, gringa, torta (I don't recall which one), and choriqueso were all great! The quesadillas de carne which I was most excited about was good, but nothing exciting. Just a heads up to people who can't handle spice, the gringa is pretty spicy. The cost is great for the location, especially for the quality of food that you're getting. There were plenty of tables but they filled up pretty quickly during dinner. The nice thing though is that most people leave pretty quickly. My one complaint and it's silly is that none of the lime had juice at all. We'll definitely be back to try out other things on the menu.

"This was on repeat for my co workers at work. They love this spot. It was fast, easy , and expected. The food was the same no matter the day or time we ordered. Prices are on par too. They are not cheap with the meat and will load your orders up!"
"Been back here a few times post-pandemic and they quality and quantity has improved a lot. It has become our go to quick Mexican dinner place again and we are enjoying it tremendously.Nachos are a favorite in our family and we order it every time. Will be back soon again."
"We ordered enchiladas that were trying to be fajitas. The food was mediocre. The service was good. The chips were OK. It is close to Christmas in the Park, so convenience is the key to their success."
"I introduced my friends to Rosy's when they wanted to take me out for my birthday. I tried the Chile Verde Omelet with extra crispy hash browns and English muffins and it was great. One of my friends ordered the Chicken Fajita Omelet with the same sides and she told Jaimie, our waitress, and owner's daughter, that it was one of her best breakfasts. Another friend enjoyed her Strawberry/Banana smoothie and another enjoyed her Huevos la Mexicana, though she wished she ordered the hashbrowns instead of "home fries" since they were kind of plain. I enjoy potatoes like that if they add onion and green peppers. We enjoyed our coffees with refills. The prices have gone up but so have all the other restaurants and this in comparison seems reasonable."
"This is my go to taqueria if I'm craving a burrito. They are extremely good! My usual order is a wet jumbo burrito with carne asada which has a lot of flavor. They also have complimentary chips and salsa (multiple types) inside the restaurant so that's really nice too."
"This place is always packed! Love how they updated it with a mural painted on the wall. The service is good. Food comes out as quickly as they can which means, for really good pupusas, you're going to have to be patient. The pupusas are always so delicious! The Salvadoran tamales are flavorful and amazing! My son decided to try the pupusas locas!!! It's HUGE!!! And it's so good. I love this place!"
"I absolutely love this place! We've been to Los gallos about 12-15 times since last year! Me and hubby was on hunt for a permeant taqueria place since our reg place sold to a diff owner and wasn't executing the same quality of food but WE FOUND Los Gallos! Staff is always welcoming and level of professionalism with all guests that eat there! I love their salsa bar! 4 diff salsas, plus pico de gallo and their jalapeño, carrot, potato mix is my personal fav! Meat has tasted fresh each time! They don't hold back at all so be ready to receive loaded tacos!! You get complimentary chips while dinning in! Interior seems clean, I don't trash laying around, you get food served by their kitchens staff. Like I mentioned earlier this is OUR taqueria now so I'll be going there with my fam few times a month."
"This place can't be beat. Parking is ok, they're open late, their combo burritos are tasty, they pack with flavor plus the salsa is flavorful. way better than Taco Bell. Plus they're really fast. After I ordered I didn't even get a chance to sit down and they had my food ready. They use actual real beef and other real ingredients. Pricing is affordable one of the last remaining actual low prices fast food joints."
"After a retirement luncheon at a restaurant in Santana Row, ten of decided to take to come here with the new retiree for a drink to toast his retirement. El Jardin is an open air restaurant and bar. We were seated at a long high-top table and to order, you scan the QR Code at the table to pull up the menu. With a long drive back home, I opted for a non-alcoholic drink and got a Pina Co-Nada. It was a refreshing pineapple and coconut juice over ice topped with some whipped cream and coconut flakes. It was perfect drink after a heavy lunch meal. It was a nice environment with the trees and bushes and heat lamps.Restrooms were about 100 ft away around the corner from Left Bank Brasserie before the stairways to the garage.Nice outdoor bar restaurant with good drinks and friendly service."
"Came back 2 months later and the blended coconut margarita tastes the same! And still the same cheery and relaxed environment. We also tried a pitcher of the guava margarita on the rocks. I actually think the blended margaritas taste better here and more flavorful. The coconut one I had blended was more satisfying and also tasted like it had more alcohol. Though I did like the guava flavor of the one on the rocks.I love flautas so I got those this time, and the chicken ones per recommendation of the waiter. They were perfectly crispy and fried and tender juicy shredded white meat on the inside. I wasn't completely stuffed but I was definitely full. This place is a little pricy 20-30 a dish for dinner and then 14-20 for a margarita. Pitcher is def way to go if you have 4 people drinking it. I think we got like 6 glasses from the pitcher."
"After spotting this place from a post to Nextdoor.com, my husband and I came back to eat here--after many years. We literally gorged ourselves on the home made chips and home made pico de gallo: delicious and free when you eat 'in'. The salsa/chip bar is AWESOME: hot and spicy stuff or choices of mild. The green sauce is also mild and quite excellent!I ordered the soup: Caldo de res (beef soup), which came with tortillas and a side of rice, cilantro and onion. The broth was rich and real (no canned stuff here) with super large chunks of meat that were tender, with potato & carrots. The bowl was very good size and not 'watery' tasting--nor was it too spicy for this white lady! My only issue: a large hair in the soup from possibly the waitress or kitchen help! YUCK. Please, could you wear hair nets for this reason? My husband at first did not want the breaded Tilipia fish plate, but ended up with it and was extremely pleased. It was a large piece, lightly breaded and quite tasty and 'light' (not oily, greasy) with beans, guac and sour cream. We were very happy with our meals and will come back again. Tons of parking in the lot; as all the other businesses are closed or empty."
"Hole in the wall type of place, I got a burrito, pretty good in taste and size, prices are also fair. It's a no frills, grab a quick lunch kind of place. I would return again to try their other items"
"Shrinkflation be hitting hard at Tia Juana Mexican Grill....It was my first time having to ration tripe like it was a famine.Because they serve up the smallest "large" menudo I've had for $16 (pata took up a good portion of the bowl): https://tinyurl.com/mvfrafd6. When the server brought it out, I thought they ran out of large bowls and had split into two small ones. She confirmed we were being served a large which is less than half the portion from eateries I frequent in The Mission and Excelsior in the city.Small size aside, how was it?Menudo is all about that meltingly soft offal in a soulful broth. This one not so much. The skin on the pata (pig's foot) was still crunchy, as was the honeycomb tripe. The hominy was tender tho. The broth was devoid of any flavor. Doctoring it up with the accompanying white onions, dried oregano, chili peppers, cilantro, and squeeze of lime helped a little. It's served with your choice of corn or flour tortillas. We choose flour and it's your standard industrial ones. They provide complimentary chips with red salsa that low key reminds me of Pace Picante. It's free so no complaints. We ordered a small side of guacamole (not the appetizer size) for dipping. It was half an avocado mixed with a chockfull of onions...steep for $8.Service was very fast and the busboy was such a sweetheart (hence the 3 stars). He brought TT a bowl of water without asking.ASK for an itemized bill! I was shown a non-itemized bill with the total of $29.14 but when I received the receipt to sign, I was charged $30.24 (pre-tip). This is not an isolated experience if you read other reviews. The only logical explanation is they charge a credit card surcharge. I don't mind paying a cc surcharge but they need to be transparent and communicate this to customers.Overall, I know Tia Juana has a loyal following in Sunnyvale but kinda I'm surprised by the high ratings. Maybe we ordered wrong or it was an off day for the menudo. They've been a neighborhood staple for over two decades so they're obvs doing something right!"
"If you want deliciously satisfying and authentic Mexican food then The Mexican is where you want to be. My family has been coming here for years and no matter what you order from the menu the food is beyond expectation. This time I even ordered the grilled chicken taco salad and loved it! I had some concern before getting my dish bc I didn't know if it would be bland or boring (side note: I typically I don't order a salad at a Mexican restaurant (like come on) but I wanted something light bc my stomach wasn't feeling great the night before). The salad was so filling and so colorful -- I was impressed. My belly thanked me for choosing the safer choice. The service was great and our group was consistently checked on. Not to mention the amount of space we had to catch up and share stories was perfect (we were not competing against loud noise). Anytime I'm in the east bay and crave Mexican food, I'll be here. What's not to love?"
"This place is really, really good. Usually I don't eat the beans and rice at places (because nothing beats homemade) but I was pleasantly surprised here. The rice is moist and flavorful, the beans tender. Their crunchy potato tacos and great. I've had delicious tortas, tacos, burritos and agua frescas here. The meat selection is great and tasty. This has been take out only so I'm sure it's even better eating in."
"I'm SHOOKETH that Churros El Guero was the stand out star vendor of our wedding this weekend, and had to gush about them immediately to let the world know! Summary: We had a wedding of about 150 people and served churros as one of our late night snacks. Guests were RAVING about these... to the point of stopping me on the dance floor to be like "dude wtf why are the churros so good" and "hey man! churros are fire- better than Disneyland!" instead of gushing about my marriage bwahaha. Churro Offerings: The churros were made fresh at the cart and were hot and crispy. They served 4 flavor choices for our guests: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and caramel. They even made heart shaped churros for us newlyweds which were AMAZING! They also tasted so fresh and in my opinion were truly better than any Disneyland churro or anything I've tried in Spain/Mexico! Note for those hiring them for weddings or events: GET THE CART instead of the tray of churros delivered! This was such a crowdpleaser and the freshness and customization of each churro is what made guests really happy and excited.Business: Carlos was very easy to work with. We went back and forth via email to work out the logistics and he was able to generate an invoice so I understood exactly when, how, and how much to pay them. The cart arrived on schedule and served churros without a hitch. When I hit my churro limit, they also allowed me to purchase more in real time via some quick calls to Carlos, which was nice of them. Appreciate their flexibility here as guests loved this so much that they went back for seconds!! Pricing: Pricing was extremely fair given the late night hour of our service. The final price of bringing a whole cart to make ready-to-order churros was much cheaper than asking our venue to put out milk and cookies on a tray and way cheaper than getting most other dessert bar offerings catered in.Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a churro fix, especially those considering them for weddings.Thank you Churros El Guero for making our wedding night so memorable and delicious! I'll definitely hire them in the future and can't wait to eat their churros every anniversary!"
"Great Mexican seafood with perfectly balanced flavors! We got a huge platter of Aguachiles Verdes, which consisted of a ton of raw shrimp, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and red onion. All of this was marinated in a citrus chile lime juice mixture that had just the right amount of salty, sour, and spicy flavors and you could taste it in every single bite! Served with a huge bag of tostadas. Big thanks to our server who, despite being incredibly busy, brought by a squeeze bottle of mayo and suggested we add some to our tostadas. It was the perfect creamy complement to the aguachiles! It was also our first time trying Sinaloan style sushi; sounded over the top at first but I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the combo of ingredients and flavors turned out! We got the Divorciado, which was a sushi roll stuffed with steak, shrimp, cream cheese, cucumber, and avocado. The whole thing was breaded, deep fried and sliced, then topped off with surimi and creamy sauces and served with a blistered guero chili pepper and a slightly tangy dipping sauce. It was very flavorful and also fun to eat! They have a ton of other dishes that look delicious and I'm looking forward to trying their ceviche on our next visit! And probably another one of their sushi rolls!"
"Great old school Mexican food place. This place has survived and thrived no matter what. Great portions and prices. Staff is always happy and nice. The tacos are my fave and tortas. I like the asada tacos and tortas de milanesa. The agua frescas vary and today the agua de fresa (strawberry) was amazing. The agua de horchata is another fave.Parking can get tough but be patient. Dinner is usually calmer than lunch time. Lots of seating and options. You can also call ahead and pick up."
"Dona is my go to spot for a quick and easy lunch. Their meals are solid, and I often go for their bowls and burritos. I love that their bowl includes guacamole as well. The food can often be ready within a few minutes, which is helpful for grab and go. With regards to proteins, I often choose their barbacoa or carnitas. I sometimes try the fried fish as well if I can dine there (so it doesn't get soggy). Their portions are pretty hefty which is great as well. The flavors are decent, nothing stellar but definitely satisfies the craving when needed."
"IMHOHaven't been here in four years and I'm so glad I made it back! Our first restaurant choice didn't open for lunch (new pandemic hours) so we yelped other Willow Glen options. My friend had always driven by Puerto Azul and noticed how busy and lively it seemed. This piqued her interest, so this was her chance to try it out!I ordered the Enchiladas Regulares, $14.99, two enchiladas filled with my choice of beef, chicken or cheese, (always cheese for me!) and served with rice, beans, and a little bit of green salad. My friend ordered a la carte; two beef flautas, $6.99, and one mole chicken enchilada, $6.99.Plates came out piping hot! In my first review 4 years ago, I complained that my plate and food came out warm. Not today! And not only was my food beautiful to behold, but it was oh-so-tasty and delicious from the very first bite! The chips were freshly fried and crispy and the salsa hot and spicy!Service was very friendly and accommodating. Yes, I look forward to returning again soon!"
"The food here feels less heavy than typical Mexican restaurants or taquerias. I got a combo order with the chile relleno and Mole Enchilada. Chile Relleno - I should have read that this was grilled. There was no batter, but it was still tasty, and I didn't miss it much.Mole Enchilada - Flavor of the mole was good. The shreds of chicken breast were large, so it was a bit hard to eat. Beans and rice - Solid."
"So glad we finally got to try Margaritas Taqueria! It's a super convenient food truck spot in Sunnyvale with a few tables and a large covered tent if you want to stay and eat, which we did. I had three regular tacos--two birria and one chicken. For $3.25 each, you get so much meat; honestly, I could've ordered just two and been full! The birria was so tender and juicy, and whatever sauce was on my tacos was a solid 10/10. I also had a hibiscus agua fresca that was delicious and not too sweet. My boyfriend got the super burrito with chicken, no tomato, and loved it. Food was ready very quickly and service was super nice. We'll definitely be back!"
"Yes! They were careful to find ouch which type of meat I wanted! The guacamole is really great! A feature I'm sure. My friend I went with told me he's gone here for decades. The fact it's been here for decades validates it's good enough to survive all obstacles! The super burrito is huge , two meals worth! Enjoy. "
