Rubi L. "I've been to Curry Up Now, three times. Which is a surprise because I've been getting pizzas at New York Pizza for years. But myself and my mother "discovered" this little place one day on a walk when we couldn't decide what to eat. And we are so glad we did! We've ordered the big share platter. The Tikki Masala and Butter chicken are just chefs kiss. The naan bread is so warm and fresh out of the oven. We tried their chicken tacos for the first time yesterday and it's definitely going to be a dish that I order for future visits. My mom loves the mango yogurt drink. The very kind lady working the register (I forgot your name I'm so sorry) is always polite and helpful when trying to decide what to order. She gives us such a warm welcome when we visit. I recommend this place 100%. The food is fresh and you can tell they put effort and thought into their ingredient and dishes."

We originally were going to get the Zuckerberg but I really wanted to try the lamb tib and my boyfriend wanted to try the chicken doro wat. We ended up ordering the original as a compromise. Amazing service from all the waitresses here. If you check in you get a whole veggie side. I forgot what it was called but it was a side mushroom dish. Super savory and cooked so well. Definitely love our combo. We came once the restaurant reopened for the evening so everything came out piping hot. It was such a huge portion for two people that you can for sure bring one more person to share everything. We left with leftovers for the next day. Will definitely be back!"

Jack R. "I think it's decent but needs improvement on the flavor and less oil.For $75 for 3 people it's pricey and we left hungry. I think they need ro increase the portions because honestly the lentils were skimpy and there was like one small piece of chicken with a huge bone in it for one of the dishes. Also, the white meat chicken with the sautéed onions had a lot of spice with the jalapeño. I wish they would allow an option for no hot spices jalapeños because that wasn't the experience I wanted for Ethiopian food. The salad needed dressing, and was very dry.The injera was super sour and kind of stale tasting.I really like Ethiopian food, but this one was a miss for me."

BUT noowww though, yall better not walk and run that azz to your nearest Curry Up Now! The revamped menu from Chef Bikram is hittin with all the spices and flavors and I can guarantee there's something for everyone. Some heavy hitters for me were the:- Spicy fried chicken (that cilantro chutney cooked with them onions really made that sandwich)- Indian flatbread (never had something like this before, pleasantly surprised and would def order again)HOT TIP: this location is one that also has a bar, I had an early lunch there so I didn't wanna TU that early but that won't stop me next time LOLLService was great with that staff being very helpful in explaining all the dishes to me. We ordered the Avocado toast, grilled cheese and chocolate cake with strawberry frosting. Although we were surprised by the small portions, the food was fresh and delicious. All Gluten, dairy, nut free and well presented. The service was quick and the staff were generally helpful. Also loved the reusable dishes, silverware and compostable take out containers. One area for improvement is better organization- there was a bunch of clutter in the small space available. They had a lot of cardboard boxes on either side of the cafe which took away from the ambiance. Also, they very busy with bakery orders or so it seemed. I wanted to get a Lavender Lemonade to go after the meal and it took a while to get their attention to place the order. Overall a great option for those looking for GF and dairy free options. Plants were a plus. ;)"

When you walk inside, you will find their menu on a chalkboard wall on the right side. I opted for an iced coffee since it was a hot day and I wanted something cool and refreshing. I didn't have to wait long for my drink, since it was quiet mid afternoon. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of outdoor seating, with a bit of shade."

Served on a fried corn tortilla shell without black bean, spring mix, romaine lettuce, red cabbage, without radish, carrots, queso fresco, pico de gallo, homemade balsamic vinaigrette on the side. I just realized my salad was not topped w/ guacamole but it was still good. Service was amazing, everything is freshly cooked and the ambiance was nice. It gets busy during lunch so I can imagine it gets busy during dinner as well."

Diana L. "I have been to the Farmers Market to visit this bakery so many times and every time it is absolutely delicious.I have had the carrot muffin, blueberry muffin, snicker doodle cookie, chocolate chip cookie, double chocolate chip cookie, mini cupcake with chocolate frosting, and the lemon cake. All of these are amazing, but my favorite by far is the carrot muffin now I almost always just get a few of those and try one new thing each time. I can tell you one things for sure though I have never been disappointed in the quality!I am celiac and have a dairy allergy so I have tried a lot of different allergen friendly bakeries and this one by far is one of the best, not just to me, but my family and boyfriend as well. My boyfriend loves there snicker doodles! The only issue I have had is for my birthday I tried ordering cupcakes online to pick up from them that weekend and they never got my order. I was quite disappointed when I showed up at the farmers market and they never received my order. I was still able to pick up a couple desserts for my birthday, and my family did love the cookies I brought! Even after a big meal everyone finished there chocolate chip cookie! No one could even tell they were completely allergen free!It is definitely worth the trip to the farmers market to pick up these goodies and they are even reasonably priced!. :)"

I love that they have super low carb options and that they understand the diet.I ordered the Key to Keto plate for myself while my partner had individual dishes. We enjoyed the paneer so much. It does have a hint of spicy which was very nice. The cauliflower is delicious, but it doesn't have that same look as the picture on doordash. We also ordered a side of the pickled veggies which were so refreshing and complemented the meal very well. The star of our meal was the cauliflower rice. I don't know what they are seasoning it with, but I have to say that it is the best cauliflower rice we have tried. The flavor was just lovely and didn't even feel like we were eating cauliflower. I highly recommend checking this place out. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh. My partner and I have also spent some time in India and the flavors, we feel, are as authentic as they can be. Although, we only tried the keto dishes, they were absolutely delicious!"

"You know to be honest, due to the prices I really want to give this place like 3.5, but since that isn't an option and the only other 1 would be to down play them, and considering they risk their lives staying open so late/early, and everything I ordered was hecka fresh, and hot I won't do them like that! Thank you lady and gentleman for staying open to satisfy my avid night owl lifestyle, and keeping everything on the 1! Steve D. "Zoodle Hot Bar can be described as a health food restaurant. It features menu items that uses veggie noodles to replace traditional pasta. This restaurant is actually a cloud kitchen inside the Oakland Food Hall (aka Jingletown Eats) in East Oakland. The other day, I ordered Ground Beef Marinara Zoodle thru the Seamless app. The meal arrived promptly and still hot. However, the soft fiber food container was damp and was leaking a little. But the food looked good, as you can see in my photos. Good amount of beef on top of Zucchini spaghetti. How did it taste? The sauce tastes good. I miss the creamy texture of real spaghetti. Also, the sauce is watery. To be gluten free, I think you can still add more cheese and thicker tomato sauce. Maybe the problem is the veggie noodles don't soak up the extra liquid, and you end up with a pool of watery sauce. Ground Beef Marinara Zoodle, $15.90Anyway, I like the concept, it fits my dietary needs. I will try other dishes."

My eggs Benedict had ONE poached egg. For $23.. that's a bit insane. The waiter was super nice and as always, the place was very classy, but I was surprised at the portion size. Hopefully they take this into consideration as they serve brunch more. Or at least serve it with a side of fruit or something to supplement. The baked good also leave a bit to be desired and are $7 each. I may go back to try the pancakes, but only for an occasion. I prefer this place for dinner"

Raul was the person who took my order. This location always has a flow of traffic from people coming in to pick up their orders to people dining in. Inside has plenty of seating to wait for your food and it has always been clean when I have gone.My wife got the gluten free Sando with gluten free bread. My Flipped chicken entree was delicious. It came with a sweet buttermilk biscuit and a small tomato cucumber salad. We both got meals so we ordered a few drinks as well. Though I do love the fried chicken Sando I really enjoyed the flipped entree. The flavor was great, and the chicken was moist. The cucumber tomato salad was fresh as well. Only thing I'll do different next time is slap a little butter on my biscuit My wife Sando came with chips which she enjoyed and she ordered a side of ranch. I do like the ranch there, it tastes fresh. She also got a side of the hot sauce and habanero sauce. Another great experience at this location!"

Each taco had a generous amount of filling and was topped with fresh, crunchy kale slaw. They were all so tasty it would be hard to pick a favorite. I enjoyed each one. Lots of windows and seating. Good coffee + sunlight + a book or a good conversation = unmatched. Lots of plants to add that "nature-y" feel. I also love the little touches of decor -- tastefully placed books, couches, pillows, etc.Espresso:Good coffee but a little pricey :( I think I paid like $7-8 for an oat milk latte. My latte was smooth and I have no complaints re: taste, but I wish they offered larger drink volume options. I think I was also a little disappointed I had to pay extra for plant-based milk, considering their menu seems to focus on healthy/light eating.Tea:Didn't get a chance to try their tea but they offer loose-leaf tea in a kettle that you can sit down with.Plant-based Barcelona/Mediterranean-inspired foods:They do a-la-carte so you pay for how many sides/dishes you want. For example, 2 sides is $X while 3 sides is $Y + $Z for your choice of protein. They do offer animal proteins (e.g. eggs, chicken, salmon) but you'll predominantly find plant-based dishes here. Lots of salads, grains, root vegetables, and leafy greens. Since I was only there for coffee, I didn't have a chance to try their food but I'll def be back for it. I saw tons of people coming in and dining for lunch.Staff were super friendly. Tarocco def stands out more as a restaurant than a cafe. I liked my latte but would come here more for the atmosphere and food than for the coffee."

Darlene T. "Orchestria Palm Court has always been a beloved and curious little restaurant for me. It's a well-known secret for historians and theatre goers in San Jose's SoFa District yet many people don't know about it. Most likely because the doors are only open for 2 days a week for less than 4 hours a day. The former 1910 auto showroom has been filled with a collection of antique musical machines including self-playing pianos, orchestrion, juke boxes and Violano-Virtuoso which is a remarkable self-playing violin and piano combo. I always felt like the co-owner Mark (an engineer) wanted to find a place for his collection and then decided to serve food. The food however is not a second thought. The menu that features grass-fed beef, free-range eggs, and real creamery butter. I can always taste the difference when well-chosen ingredients are used. We enjoyed the Chicken Saltimboca, Boeuf Bourguignon, Strawberry Salad & Key Lime Pie which was so good we ordered a second dessert their Profiteroles. They have an odd yet functional system whereas you come in and pick your own table then head to the back bar to put your order in and wait for it to arrive. The prices include service and tax and there is a busser who fills your glass and drops off your food. In the interim the other co-owner (a Veterinarian) runs the antique fountain bar whipping up cool concoctions such as the Huckleberry Fizz, Poppy Dew and Apricot Ambrosia. Good old-fashioned milkshakes and "mocktails" when were the flourishing during prohibition. In between his fountain duties he runs about firing up the many different musical machines. If you have hearing sensitivies do not sit near a piano because they are LOUD. When your done with your experience you go back to the bar to pay your meal. They will never rush you and want you to sit back and enjoy your time. No tipping is allowed as there are no waiters. Just a reminder, Orchestria Palm Court is open only on Friday and Saturday, from 5:30 to 9:00pm and you must get your order in by 7:40pm. Reservations are obviously recommended."
