"So glad we finally got to try Margaritas Taqueria! It's a super convenient food truck spot in Sunnyvale with a few tables and a large covered tent if you want to stay and eat, which we did. I had three regular tacos--two birria and one chicken. For $3.25 each, you get so much meat; honestly, I could've ordered just two and been full! The birria was so tender and juicy, and whatever sauce was on my tacos was a solid 10/10. I also had a hibiscus agua fresca that was delicious and not too sweet. My boyfriend got the super burrito with chicken, no tomato, and loved it. Food was ready very quickly and service was super nice. We'll definitely be back!"
"Tacos El Gordo in Oakland is a legit hotspot! Yeah, the area's a bit iffy, so park smart. The wait? Sometimes long, but totally worth it for those late-night cravings. Horchata's on point, and all the ingredients? Fresh as can be. Hits the spot every time. Solid 4 stars, no doubt. Keep it up!"

"One of the few larger taco truck stands in East side san jose.Parking is plenty in the back and they got a building with a dining area across from the truck. They have a self serve sauce and condiments bar with togo options as wellEvery meat option is basically available and the tacos it self were pretty solid for SJ tacos. Very juicy and tender and good flavorThe mic that they use to call out numbers has a lot of reverb so its hard to hear sometimes"
"Short Story: Holy cow! I wish I lived here :)Long Story: I've been coming here too many times the past two years and have gotten everyting on their menu. From the regular items such as pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken, hot links, tater tots, to all their sandwiches (with the meats I just listed), to special items such as pastrami and meatzilla beef ribs! The prices are good and the service is fantastic! The place is a bit small so I usually order ahead. Items also run out early so be sure to call or order ahead!Verdict: I'm picking up an order right now!"
"I ordered this Torre de Tamarindo (seafood tower) and it was so amazing! It came with a side of crunchy tostadas and it was honestly an explosion of flavors and my mouth still waters just thinking of it. The ingredients were so fresh too. Their menu is exciting and I want to go back and try a dozen things more. Highly recommend!!!!"
"We walked past this place on our way to another establishment, and I immediately noticed the fragrant smell and sound of stir fry being made in a wok out the back of this truck. So when we were disappointed by the food at the first place we visited, we ran back to this food truck and were happy to see if was still there despite it being almost 9:30pm. Everything was cooked fresh after we ordered and came out piping hot; giving us enough time to walk and find a place to sit before it cooled down to an edible temperature. -Chili Chicken Momo ($11.99): this came out burning hot and was amazing. There were 8 momos that were super flavorful and a little crispy on the outside, stir fried in a delicious tomatoey spiced sauce with onions and green peppers that still had a nice bit of crunch. It comes with a spicy red sauce and a creamy orange sauce full of umami. This food truck is a gem and I highly recommend you come by to try the chili chicken momos. I saw some other people getting the chow mein and which also smelled and looked amazing, so I'd love to come back to try the rest of their flavorful, made to order food!"
"Finally made it out to get some tacos since moving back to CA. Was in socal for a long while, so we were really hoping to find a good place up herr! The bf got the Chezburrito and it is definitely worth it! Packed with deliciousness and 3 different meats. And it is heftttty. I got waay too many tacos but no regrets. Carne Asada, brisket, tongue, al pastor, shrimp, and fried pork. All the tacos were really good. But my favorites were the tongue, al pastor and shrimp. The tongue was cooked really well and had great flavor. Really they all did. Everything was packed nicely and securely. 2 each of their green and orange hot sauce. 2 foils of grilled onions/jalapenos. We also got the horchata and jaimaica which were also super good. Overly full right now but no regrets."
"LOVETacos! Spicy shrimp with soy chorizo. Carne asada. The man who works here is so sweet and friendly.LIKEBarbacoa.El Califas style -- cheese sandwiched between the tortillas. Heavy, but delicious.Picnic tables, in sun and shade.MEHIt's a food truck in a gas station parking lot, so if you're looking for ambiance, this ain't it."
"Thursday night at 9pm and it was very busy!! The food truck is in a very nice community street market type area. There are plenty of barrel top tables to stand at, and a couple other food trucks and vendors to check out. The atmosphere is very lively, lots of bright lights and festive music. We ordered fried chicken momos, chili chicken momos, and chicken hakka noodles. I preferred the fried chicken momos over the the chili momos mainly because the chili sauce had more salty flavor than spice I think? The noodles were very tasty, that had a nice char on them. If I go again, definitely getting noodles and fried momos!"
"Get the chicken and chicken chili momo! It was a random Sunday afternoon that I got to spend by myself while Gavin's at the temple learning about Buddhism and Vietnamese. I drove to the temple in Palo Alto to visit my grandpa (his picture is there) and decided to get gas on my way back. Had no idea there was a food truck meet up here. I was determined to stop by after Costco. I was excited to see momos on the menu. That was the first truck I saw. I didn't eat it the same day. These tasted great, still. I microwaved them but if I wasn't super lazy, steaming them for a few minutes would do the trick. The chicken momos were succulent. The chicken chili momos were earthy and had some heat to it. The chili sauce it came w/ elevated the heat, it was spicy but super tolerable. Accepts cards. Service was friendly. Will be back!"
"Best BBQ EVER! I drive from San Jose just for a plate! Never tried something that I didn't love! Fire food and imma be honest... The hospitality is unmatched! You literally walk in wanting some amazing BBQ that you can smell from your car- and walk out- FAMILY! I'm sorry but you don't get that anywhere these days! This whole establishment is amazing! You won't want to hurry up and leave.. You're gonna want to stay awhile and mingle with great conversation! Feel the difference it makes to eat at a family business vs a chain where the food is mid at best! I love the greens, brisket, ribs, catfish, etc. Everything is so delicious!"
"This spot nestled in San Jose is truly a hidden gem, and is recognized for its birria ramen, which is so good. You can get traditional quesabirria or the ramen, both are really good. I'd love to come back and try more of their menu here."

tl;dr Our new favorite spot for amazing burritos! This is a food truck in a very small parking lot, so if you arrive but there's no parking, you may need to exit and park nearby and walk. These burritos can be HUGE. I've tried the super burrito with al pastor twice now and both times, I could only make it halfway before I got full. The agua frescas were also fresh and tasty. The flavor of the meat is also very prominent and delicious. We are definitely repeat customers!

I almost cried while eating these tacos. I might have also been drunk, but that's not the point. We ordered four super tacos - al pastor and asada. We waited quite a bit for our food, but it was pretty busy at 2am with a steady flow of people. But honestly I would have waited even longer because they were worth it.

Tacos Los Tres Reyes is probably the best tacos I've had in the bay so far. We came on a Sunday night and this place was packed. We ordered Al pastor, carne asada, lengua, carnitas, Cabeza, and suadero. My favorite bites were the Cabeza and the suadero, would definitely come back for these because the meat was very flavor and tender. The other meats were pretty standard and nothing to write home about. All tacos are on store bought tortillas which is a bit of a disappointment because it gives the taco a rigid bite since it's not soft. I think it would be way better if they had hand made tortillas. Their salsa bar is pretty extensive, they even have a pineapple salsa which is one of a kind and very spicy but worth a try. In general all the salsa are extremely spicy so if you can't handle spice go easy on the salsa. In comparison to so cal tacos though the tacos are average. Even my favorite bites of the night can't even compare. They have their own private lot and we were lucky to find parking. It seems like a lot of people order for to go though so there's always cars coming in and out. They had great seating options that are inside but with a garage door open. They have heaters so even though we came in winter we were still warm while eating. Overall, if I'm really craving tacos in the bay I would come back but if I have a trip to so cal soon I would hold off the cravings.

Great BBQ for the area! We ordered Smoked Out BBQ on DoorDash. They're located in a business / residential park area, and had a pretty great selection for BBQ options. We ordered two things to share amongst 2 people:+ Pulled Pork Chili Cheese Tots (4/5) ($15): So good! I normally don't like chili that much... but this and the pulled pork together made the tots taste sooo good. The tots were crisp, the chili cheese was packed with flavor. The portion was more than enough, but definitely, after a while the flavor became easy to get tired of. I really hoped to try their oxtail tots, but it wasn't available unfortunately :(+ Combo 4 (4/5) ($29): Our three meats: tri-tip, pork ribs, hot link. Two sides: potato salad, mac and cheese. The pork ribs and hot link were both really god! The tri-tip also was pretty delicious, the meat was tender. I wasn't the biggest fan of the potato salad, but I enjoyed how rich the mac and cheese was. They have tables inside if you're looking to dine in!

This place is a must try! I tried their ceviche, tacos de asada and quesabirria tacos and have not been disappointed. I do take one star away because of the location. It is located in Oakland on International, and if you're a Bay Area native, you know. The crime rate here is extremely high, and the few times I've been here, there are always police sirens blazing by. I always make sure to park in an area where my car is in view, or just take it to go. However, don't let that stop you from visiting this establishment.. just be mindful of your surroundings and you'll be fine. Service can be a little slow at times, but it is because they make everything fresh to order. Please be patient!

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday, and there was no line. Ordered the chicken lollipop, which came out piping hot. Once it cooled down a bit, the chicken was perfectly crispy. Not too oily. Would recommend!

Stopped by because we were craving burritos and it's been over 7 years since I've been back. I don't remember anything from my first visit so I'm going to review it as if it was my first time again. Note the burritos are loaded with meat, lacking in rice and the other "fillers". It's a pro and a con depending on how you like your burritos. CHEZBURRITO!!: This menu item had a interesting combination of ingredients that all sounded good together so I ordered one of these (without beans). It was piping hot so beware! Not the biggest fan of bell peppers but wanted to keep it since I thought it would add a smoky flavor and it did. I enjoyed all of the meats that were included: asada, Al pastor, chorizo. Overall, I would say this is too seasoned, and actually very salty. BURRITO!!: first impression is that it's small for a burrito these days especially at $10+ (after tax). Requested no beans again, rice was sparse. Carne asada was cooked well, but again very salty. They provided 2 sauces, both of which were not too spicy. Orange was probably habanero and green had cilantro for sure, and jalapeño or Serrano if I had to guess. Both were very thin sauces compared to a lot of places.

Located behind the alliance gas station on Mathilda.El Califas Tacos is a taco truck that has pretty good tacos for the area. The "El Califas" tacos are cooked with a layer of melted cheese in the middle which is pretty unique to them. They have lots of meat choices as wellThe horchata was a also pretty good which comes in a bottle and makes it easier to shake/mix and drink.Plenty of tables outside for you to sit and eat it fresh but parking is limitedWould highly recommend checking it out and ask for extra salsa!

"I think this place makes pretty good North Indian dishes - like chole bhature. The street snacks like dahi poori, papdi chaat, etc are good as well, but they lack a twist in taste, maybe if it could be a bit spicy, had some chaat masala then it'd taste even better. My pav bhaji tasted well, but next time I'd recommend adding some more chili to it, to up it another level. Similar with Dal Makhani and chole. The service is pretty slow but the staff is very nice. We had ordered one dish with no onion and no garlic and we found some onions in the dish so the staff was nice enough to even replace the bhature with chole instead of just chole. Next time I come I'd want to try their parathas with dal makhani."
"Just discovered this food truck when I was in mtv. Even as you drive up, park and go pick up your order, you're struck by how clean it is. Yes it's new and all, but so clean, it sets new standards for food trucks, esp desi trucks!Ordered vada pav and dabeli and chai. The dabeli and vada pav were awesome. Not overly oily. Correct flavor balance and spices. The busted chilly was mmmmm so good!Chai... I wish I'd picked up a cpl more. Gosh so good, and I love it has a super focused and limited menu. Very Bombay style street food. It reminded me of law garden evening food stalls in Ahmedabad! I know I'm gonna crave for this place now!!"
""Visit Oakland" put out a list of the best taco trucks in Oakland and I am slowly making my way through the list. Last week I made a lunch stop at La Grana Fish. They are known for their queso-birria, although the real star of the show is a lightly battered baja fish taco, that is fried to a golden brown topped with thinly sliced cabbage, pico de gallo and an addictive chipotle crema. I also ordered the pineapple and spinach agua fresca to wash it all down. It was the perfect lunch meal. Seating is spacious with a laid-back brewery feel. It was a chilly fall day but the sun was out and I enjoyed sitting in the mostly empty patio. Staff was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed."
"Food -- was phenomenal! Eveything was hot and fresh. Very tasty and flavorful. Very authentic birria tacos. The taste was very much so there. Service -- the service was amazing! The lady was by herself handling the register and making food. 2 of her employees called off but not once did she complain. She handled that very well but did let customers know she was working alone for time purposes. She was great! Very attentive to everyone's needs and made sure everyone's food made it out promptly. Ambiance -- I loved the location and the ambiance of the restutant. It's located in West Oakland near train tracks and there's a brewery next door. Tons of parking. The inside is very pretty. Decorations and paintings inside. Love love this place! Def recommend people who want amazing birria. Oh and the churros are DELICIOUS! Yummm"
"Deliciousness heaven especially if you are a fan of Amritsari Kulcha n Cholay!!! Tried super Vada Pav which adds to overall deliciousness n experience. The service as usual is exceptional for a Food Truck. One of my favorites in the South Bay."
"Yum!! This food truck came to my local farmers market in Japantown. I got the TFIC Special Vada Pav and I devoured it. The schezwan flavor pairs perfectly with vada pav, and it gave it that delicious indo-chinese flavor that Indians know and love.Got it with some piling hot mumbai chai, also delicious. Washed down the vada pav nicely :)"
"As a vegetarian it can be challenging to find dumpling places that offer veggie options. It's rare that I seek out a food truck because they often move to a new destination, but I'm glad to have found Asian Momo through Yelp! |LOCATION & SETTING| Situated in a spacious parking lot with a few other trucks, it felt like a food truck oasis. Except this truck was the only one that was operating on a Saturday! They have outdoor seating with tents overhead. The only downside is that the tables were quite dirty and it just didn't feel sanitary. Their hand sanitizer dispenser was also empty. |FOOD & ORDERING|Ordering was straightforward and the food was fair for the amount. I paid for two boxes of dumplings and samosas which came out to be around $32.We waited about 10-15 min after ordering before we got our food. Included were two sauce containers with our dumplings. The brown sauce was milder than the red sauce, for those with a lower spice tolerance. The amount of dumplings were incredibly filling and substantial! Flavor, filling, and texture-check! I also enjoyed the samosas, which were filled with curried potatoes. The outer texture was crunchy, as well. I am pleased to have found this place to satisfy my dumpling cravings! I'll be returning in the future."
"Y'all were delicious at Autumn Lights festival on Saturday, and I appreciated seeing the family all working together. I had "Mixed on Rice" and it hit the spot. The chicken and lamb were both moist, tender, and flavorful. The lamb was a little more stewed than I was expecting, but it tasted good. The iceberg salad was plain but refreshing. The rice was spiced strongly - it tasted good and went great with the food, but once I'd finished the protein and lettuce I couldn't eat the rice by itself - it needed something blander to balance it out. Everything was generous portions -- My main regret was that I didn't get to try your falafel. But that's a good reason to come back, and I look forward to seeing you again. Keep up the good work!"
"Amazing!!! Love the chicken monos. The spicy chutney is bomb.com. The services is pretty good."
"Best tacos ever, at least locally. I don't know of any other place that makes them this good. And you know it's delicious when everyone else in line is hispanic and ordering everything in Spanish. While I've also tried the burritos, the pupusas, and even the hot dog, the super tacos are my absolute favorite. Great salsa, lots of meat, they always have lengua in stock, and I get full just off of 2 tacos. As for the other items, the pupusas are also pretty good, but I do wish the outside dough was just a bit crunchier. Friendly service, and if you get lucky, you can also call ahead because I don't think I've ever seen this truck without a line."
"Wow! I found Eggmania through a Yelp email blast featuring "Hot New Restaurants Near You". Eggs are my favorite protein and in our family we love Indian restaurants of all types and geographies. I'd been meaning to try a similarly egg-themed Indian restaurant in San Jose, but the Eggmania menu jumped out at me for all its egg-centric sandwich, wrap, rice, and curry options. For my first visit, I tried the Egg Peri Peri sandwich and the Egg Masala sandwich by going splitsies with my 14 y.o. son. We asked to dial back the spice level a bit, yet both, especially the Egg Peri Peri, still had a decent kick. Between the two, we both preferred the Egg Masala, which seemed to feature the egg more and was actually pretty darn awesome. I also grabbed a mango lassi for the road which is always a fave as well. The Eggmania setup is also interesting. Prateek, one of the owners, took my order. He has a tech job by day and moonlights at Eggmania. Eggmania is a franchise that started in New Jersey and now also has locations in Ontario (Canada), Massachusetts, Pennsylania, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and Texas. Prateek's local Eggmania operates out of a vacant lot with a food truck trailer, which only recently moved to this location. They are starting with the truck but I see a beautiful brick and mortar restaurant space in their future. Plus their setup with shade, seating and even fun board games, is pretty sweet. Prateek was really friendly, his passion for food and his business was unmistakable and I'm really rooting for him and his partners. Plus this isn't charity- like their story, their food is awesome."
"Fantastic. Tacos were inexpensive and tasted great. Chips and salsa were simple but also very tasty. Quesadilla was reportedly very good, although I didn't try it. Service could not have been better. Free horchata refill, how can you beat that? Very nice casual food court."
"I was randomly craving a churro one day and my boyfriend surprised me with one. It was absolutely delicious. I'd give it a 5/5 for the churro. It was very crunchy on the outside and moist inside; really good balance of cinnamon and sugar. Perfectly satisfied my craving. We also got the carne asada, el pastor, and carnitas. The carne asada is pretty good but quite salty. It's slightly dry but still chewy. El pastor texture was a bit strange. It didn't feel like stripped beef but the seasoning was really good. The carnitas weren't that fatty, which was a bit surprising.Overall, the meat was pretty lean especially for the el pastor. None of the flavors are exploding and a lot of it felt pretty subtle. I think they could improve the meat flavor with longer marination and fattier meat. It doesn't feel like the meat felt as fresh as some other taco places so maybe it became a bit dry. They also fried the tortilla really well so it was quite crispy too, great texture. It didn't seem like it was fried in oil so it wasn't overly greasy and somehow tasted like a healthy taco if there is such a thing. Also loved the radish on the side. It's a good refreshing taste after each taco. Definitely will be back for an epic churro!"
"It was ok. Food seemed expensive and it was weird there aren't clear prices posted for the most popular items. I will say there was a LOT of meat, so relative to value it's good. Overall I just found it a bit underwhelming. It was surprisingly bland. We got the quesabirria and a birria ramen. The quesabirria had a ton of meat... like an impressive amount! I wish there was more cheese though and would have like the tortillas cooked to be crispy (or at least crispier). They were way too floppy for my taste. I'd try it again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way again to go back."
"I've been eating food from El Taco De Oro since my coworker at a previous job introduced me to their location in Alviso about 4 years ago. I was definitely hooked after trying their tacos. Lately I've been coming across their truck parked in front of O Reilly's on El Camino next to Golfland and I gotta say, these guys keep it consistent. I've been swinging by during my lunch break to get a super burrito with carne Asada, and it's my current go to. Sure the tacos are awesome but man, just something about the way they do burritos just hits the spot every time. I also like that the food prep doesn't even take long and there usually isn't a wait when I come by. Check them out next time you're craving Mexican food, support a local small business!"
"Food: 8/10Service: N/A (pay at the food truck and seat yourself or take home) Value: 5/10Wait time: 5 minutes to order on Sunday at 12noonPortion size: medium I have been here many times but this is my first time writing a review. I haven't been in a while since they got rid of the 2nd food truck and the line is just too long. This time there was barely a line so I had to get some!I ordered steak tacos and 1 lengua taco. Definitely still delicious but the price has gone up probably due to inflation and covid. Its now $3.25 for one taco! The lengua is definitely a favorite if you want to be adventurous. Its beef tongue but its so tender and juicy that you have to try it! All meals are served with a side of radishes, carrots and jalapeños. I would also ask for a side of salsa to add to the tacos because this time there wasn't as much as I remembered."
"3.5 starsOrdered thru DoorDash. They did the packaging pretty nicely , and packed each salsa flavor and the cooked onions and lime wedges to go with the tacos. Got two Al pastor and one chicharone flavor for the tacos. The chicharones was kind of soggy , I thought it would be crispy like the chip so it was a bit of a let down. The Al pastor was alright, the variety of salsas provided was very nice. The light green flavor avocado salsa was my favorite one and the light orange colored salsa was surprisingly spicy."
"Yelp says closed, but they are indeed open.I've been to the Sunnyvale location for tacos, but since moving to Santa Clara, I'm super close this one now!Ordered 2 burritos:-super steak and lengua, $14 eaNo wait, and food came out pretty quickly. We were provided chips (not sure if they are included in burritos or not), but they were super stale, so might have gotten a bad batch.I'll be back here to try the tacos! Self serve salsa here.Parking in the lot is easy to find."
"Simple but so delicious! Pav Bhaji is a fast food dish that is popular in Mumbai. I learned about this dish from a Netflix show so I had to try it out for myself. The dish is very simple; it comes with two pieces of toasted buttered rolls (similar to Hawaiian rolls but toasted with butter) and a curry-like sauce to dip the rolls in. There was also a side of onion and lime for the bhaji (the sauce). I ordered the spicy pav bhaji without the cheese and it was soo good. I enjoy very spicy foods and this definitely had spice to it. If you're sensitive to spice then try the non-spicy version. Highly recommend this place if you love Indian curries but want to try something a little different!"
"I was fortunate to stop by since I was on my home from Mtn. View. I was craving vada pav and wanted to treat myself by splurging on a very big dinner that I can enjoy a few sittings of. The service was quite fast. Luckily, I was only behind a couple, but as I was waiting for my order a few people came and stood in line, so it might be busy. I ordered chicken biriyani, vada pav, and chicken momos. I am a little ashamed to admit that it only took me 2 sittings to finish everything. Everything was that good. The vada pav was my favorite. The momos took me back to Bini's Kitchen in SF. It was so juicy! The chicken biriyani was flavorful w/ each bite. Accepts cards. I loved it!"
"Another first timer and it was a great experience. Tacos El Chore is a taco truck parked by the park, which proved to be a hidden gem of flavor and authenticity, despite a few logistical challenges.Let's talk about the parking. It's a bit complicated with limited space near the truck. Side parking is a must, and if luck isn't on your side, you might find yourself parking on the other side of the park, which isn't too bad but requires a short walk. However, don't let this deter you; the experience that you get is well worth the effort. They have a variety of food with a variety of meats so it's perfect for those that can only eat certain meats (like my mom). It was a bit overwhelming since there were so many options but it does help that they list the ingredients they have, which made it easier to choose. In the end, we choose the birria pizza and asada fries. They were both amazing and left us happily full. I barely made a dent with the fries, it still looks full (haha). You definitely need more than 3 people to finish! The flavors were authentic and bold, a testament to the truck's commitment to quality ingredients and skillful preparation.Given the limited space around the truck, Tacos El Chore is more of a to-go spot. No seating is available, making it an ideal place for a quick grab-and-go feast. On colder days, eating in the car might be the best bet. Sadly, we couldn't eat in the car since we had the pizza but even when it got a bit cold (since we live a bit far), it was great! For those fortunate enough to live closer, consider this a bonus - a taco haven practically at your doorstep. The outstanding food quality and the convenience of a quick, flavorful meal overshadow the inconvenience of parking. This is a must-try for taco enthusiasts. Whether you're a local or willing to make a short trip, this taco truck is well worth the journey. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"
"I'm a city burrito to best burritoTrucks in the bay type gal. Very skeptical about new Burrito check especially not in the areas that I'm used to. I looked over the reviews as I also looked over the menu we ordered two to feed for people and to our delight. They were very good. I do recommend this truck as a Burrito stop spot you will be pleased.Monster burrito x2 $36"
"Just a heads-up--this is a taco truck! While the location may not be the best part of Oakland, it's absolutely worth the trip. The tacos are generously sized and packed with meat, and the shrimp are huge--practically colossal prawns. The flavors are incredible, the salsa is delicious, and they always include jalapeños and carrots on the side. They offer a great variety of options, with the flexibility to customize your order. My rating is solely on the food ! One tip: be sure to check their hours before heading out. I've made the mistake of driving all the way there on a Sunday, only to find out they're closed that day!"
