"My friend and I had strawberry and dragon fruit. They didn't have an option for type of crystal boba on the kiosk or I forgot but the main cashier register wasn't work, so I paid again to add boba.Nice ambianceThe taste of my dragon fruit drink was a little flat for sweetness so maybe next time I'll get 100 instead of 50%. This place is my go-to for boba with friends. Generally very chill and good vibes and clean."
"I ordered blossom jasmine milk tea, and it was pretty good. Customer service was pretty good since drinks came out quick. The shop also had a lot of cute decorations so if you're in the area, definitely check it out. It's also one fit he few boba places that open late at night"

"We were visiting my daughter at college, and she insisted we visit this place and that her brother and sister would love it, and she was right. The bowls are huge, and there are only two sizes, regular and large. These are considered the "regular" size and they are absolutely shareable. They come with a side of sweetness condensed milk to pour on top. Adding the condensed milk turns the snow cone more into an ice cream consistency. The bowls look beautiful with the fresh toppings, but the star of the show is the ice! It is unlike any snow one I've ever had. It's incredibly soft, and feels like what you'd expect magical snow to taste like. Fun place for kids, a date, or just a sweet treat for yourself."
"I love four seasons tea and this is one of the only places that does it plain without any other flavors. I always get it with honey boba (white) and you can place your order online!Have what I want, easy order & pick up. Recommended!"
"I've been coming in to this location for two years now consistently and I love it, I've especially been obsessed with their peach oolong milk tea! When I went in earlier today I realized their decor inside was all removed and their walk up order had become two kiosk tablets. I decided to ask the staff if there was a change in management recently to which they shared that there is. I hope this helps businesses and hope to see new changes in the future because I wouldn't want such a San Jose gem to disappear.I also asked if there store hours would be affected with the Chinese New Year celebrations to which they said it would not.I'll still be returning to this shop as long as their drinks maintain delicious! :)"
"I get Ume tea here and there and even through doordash. The prices are always so cheap and decently priced! Even though it is cheap it is very very good! They also have these cool "blind box" kind of cups called surprise cups which include some small stuffed animals. There are two kiosks that you can order from and a cashier as well. Ordering is super easy and quick. There is a order status TV inside as well. The area is very bright and pink! The place is as clean as I can see it with some seating."
"Nice little poke shop located in Japantown serving a large variety of poke options. I had the poke lover bowl with two scoops of spicy ahi. The fish was nicely seasoned and tasted fresh. It came with a generous amount of seaweed salad. The kimchi was alright, not the best I've had. The price was reasonable for the poke bowl, which was average sized. Overall I really enjoyed the meal and would be happy to come back."
"Really great spot for a large selection of classic asian desserts. I wish more of these one-off dessert bistros existed around the bay area. You could argue Meet Fresh fits the bill, but I think there's something special about the vibe of these one-off dessert shops that is hard to replicate in a giant franchise. We ordered four desserts:1. Egg puffs (bubble waffles) with mango ice cream and fruit2. Almond Tofu Pudding3. Mango Pomelo Sago4. Milk Ice with Green Tea and Strawberry Ice CreamDespite have a cheesecake factory sized menu, the quality on every dish was upheld, and the waiter was very attentive when we were ordering individual ice cream flavours. Speaking of the ice cream - it was fantastic; the mango ice cream they have was exceptional with a great flavour and texture.P.S. i love that there's curry fish balls on the menu and it just falls right in the middle of the menu between two types of desserts - if that isn't a sign of a high quality classic asian dessert shop, I don't know what is."
"I came here to say two days ago to grab my daughter some Shrimp Yakisoba. This is one of my go to restaurants when I'm in the area. The server Mark was on point. This review is really for him. He was inviting friendly and very courteous. He had us in and out. I ordered my food to go. Thank you for the great service Mark"
"Pop Up Tea is hands-down my new favorite boba spot! The moment you walk in, you're greeted with the coziest vibe and friendliest staff. Their drinks are delicious & Who doesn't love a boba shop that's Instagram-worthy and tasty? They got a area decorated with cute Christmas decor where you can take selfies The menu has such a fun variety, and everything I've tried so far has been amazing! Their house milk tea is perfectly sweet and creamy, and the egg pudding is also a great topping. I also love their avocado smoothie with ice cream so creamy, like a sip of happiness! What really makes Pop Up Tea stand out is the little details: thoughtful customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay and sip all day.If you're in San Jose and craving boba, you have to pop by Pop Up Tea. It's a total 10/10 experience every time!"
"I used to go there often when I was in college, but now that I'm not nearby, I can only visit occasionally. However, their popcorn chicken is still just as delicious. To this day, I haven't found one that tastes better than theirs."
"Always Your Bakery was our dessert caterer for our wedding this year. Before we had decided to go with Natalie, we visited a few bakeries nearby and went to a lot of wedding fairs. We met Natalie during one of the first wedding fairs we went to and was instantly amazed by her desserts, but also how sweet she was. We decided to visit their store front & ordered a bunch of desserts; ube cheesecake, macarons, ube crinkle cookies, cupcakes. They were all seriously delicious! So we booked with her right away. Their cheesecakes are a MUST try, I'm drooling just thinking about it. During the wedding planning process, we went to the cafe quite a few times. The store is super cute, ambiance is relaxing, and the staff always greets you with a smile & happy to help. We also reached out to Natalie multiple times, as our guest list got bigger, and she was more than happy to accommodate us. We shared with her multiple photos for inspo & and what we were envisioning. Every interaction, every correspondence with her has always been super positive & she was always open to every one of our ideas. On our wedding day, desserts were delivered, and omg they were as delicious as they were gorgeous! Our guests loved them so much, my husband and I barely had any. Luckily, I reached out prior & ordered our own private stash in case this happened, I'm so glad I did lol. The macarons were so yummy, we had multiple flavors and they were all so good. They were the hit of the night. The tiramisu cups was another crowd favorite. I didn't even get to taste any, but I heard from guests how obsessed they were with it. The cupcakes were almost too pretty to eat, but they disappeared just as fast. The ube crinkle cookies (and my personal favorite) were BOMB - so soft, so chewy, i can actually taste the ube. Not many places can say that. They'll call it an ube cookie, but it's really just purple. This cookie though is actually *ube* flavor. As much as we love Peter's Bakery in San Jose and Susie's cakes - this tops them both. Each one of their treats is moist, full of flavor, not overly sweet, and just so dang beautiful to look at. We had a Susie's Cake cupcake the other day, and although it was good, it tasted a bit dry to us. The difference is wild after we've been spoiling ourselves with Always Yours Bakery. I can confidently say, this is my favorite bakery hands down. The quality of every single item on their menu and friendliness of the staff and Natalie herself, is well worth it. We can't wait to come back already."

After going here many times, I finally tried one of the cakes... I don't know why I waited so long. It was so smooth and light!I love the variety of drinks, plus the endless build-your-own options! You can use a self-order kiosk or place your order at the counter. It's a great place to hang out and yap with friends. I've even seen people study here.

Lychee watermelon jasmine tea was delicious! Also my friend got a drink with the surprise toy, and when she didn't like what she got and asked to switch, the workers brought out one of each toy and let her choose. 10/10 customer service

My bestie wanted bingsoo for her birthday dessert. Being a Saturday night, most places in SJ were already closed. Luckily, MandRo Teahouse was on our route back home and a spot my friends enjoyed.Despite coming in late at night, there was a good amount of customers. Young 20 year old people like us wanting their sweet treat fix. There are a good amount of tables to sit, eat, and chat at. You can also take your Bingsoo or drinks to go. The vibes are super chill and minimalistic. Ordering is easy and done on a kiosk. Wait times vary depending on how busy they are.The five of us shared a Strawberry Bingsoo and Mango Bingsoo. Though I'm partial to mango, the strawberry was all of our favorites. The ice was so soft and fluffy. There were plentiful pieces of fruit. I just wish there was more fruit juice and condensed milk to further flavor the ice. All of us left content and full! There are a few MandrRo Teahouse locations throughout the bay. I'd come back for their Bingsoo! The dessert shop is easy to find off Newark Blvd with plenty of parking in the shopping plaza.

I want to start by saying that my family has been going to Sunright WEEKLY for almost 2 years. I was actually considering of getting their logo tattoo'd because it was such an integral part of our family ritual. We've taken introduced dozens of people to this place... always saying that it is THE BEST boba in the area. Sadly, I cannot say this anymore. I don't know why but the quality has really gone downhill. We've pretty much stopped going. The drinks are now so incredibly sweet that my own kids (who love sweets) can't tolerate it. We always get 0% sweet and it's STILL too sweet. It seems like they've changed their boba recipe or something because now the boba is immersed in brown sugar syrup. I've actually emailed Sunright directly about this and they said to include additional instructions to our order and say "don't add sugar to the boba"... guess what? There isn't an option to do that. I don't know how anyone can drink syrup like this.I'm profoundly sad. Please make Sunright great again.

We ordered the black milk tea with cheese foam and matcha latte (not in picture). The "have a nice day" on the cheese foam made our day! However, I was a little disappointed that the matcha latte was super sweet even if I asked for 0% sugar. It almost tasted like the same sweetness as 75% sugar. Not sure if it was because the matcha itself was already sweetened or because they forgot my request. Anyways, the black milk cheese foam made up for it. The tea flavor was strong, and the sweetness was well balanced with the savory flavor of the cheese foam. The boba was OK though. I'd like to try their signature brown sugar boba next time.

I've been here a couple of times already, but I never got around to reviewing it--until now! I absolutely love their drinks. This time, I ordered the Passion Fruit with 30% sweetness, and it was perfectly balanced--just the right amount of tangy and sweet. I added the crystal boba, and wow, I'm obsessed! The shop itself is small but super cozy, with tons of adorable rabbit-themed decorations. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

Aloha Fresh is so damn good. I think I've finally perfected my order: a Poke Lover bowl with half rice half salad, kukui nut ahi, spicy salmon, mac salad, and pickled onion. SO GOOD. The fish is super fresh and you can definitely taste and feel the difference in texture. I literally never go to those Chipotle-style poke places anymore. The kukui nut ahi had this sesame oil kinda flavor that's super good, and I love the crispness of the limu seaweed. It's also not too saucy so it tastes very refreshing. The spicy salmon is more saucy but it all comes together with the fattiness of the salmon super well.I also really enjoy their hot foods like kalua pork and fried chicken!I love their generous points system that offers random rewards, like a birthday bogo!I came close to closing on a weekday and they gave me 3 free chicken teriyaki musubis!

A massive variety of delicious desserts are available here at prices that won't break the bank. Plus they're open late ish. Would give 6 stars if I could. I often crave the mango coconut sticky rice dish. SO GOOD.

"I've heard about this place for several years but only got to try it recently. I was feeling overwhelmed with all the options available and ended up consulting the cashier for recommendations. After asking me what my preferences were, he recommended me the Pistachio Jasmine Dream (seasonal drink), which I got with oat milk (no additional cost!), less ice, and less sugar. Boy, was it a good recommendation! I love it when I can taste the tea flavor in my drinks, and I could definitely taste the jasmine and the floral hints in this one!! The pistachio cream was also delicious, and gave the drink some creaminess and a hint of nuttiness.I've heard that this place is sometimes not consistent with their drinks, but I personally had a great experience when I visited! There's ample seating inside and the interior aesthetic is clean, warm, and modern -- perfect for studying or catching up with friends!"
"This is our second time at this location. We have ordered chicken nibblers on rice. The dish is amazing. The chickens are covered with sauces, the chicken tenders are crunchy and very well cooked. It comes with sticky rice and sea weed salad.Overall a must have at this location. Definitely will try again."
"As of today, order online here: https://pos.chowbus.com/online-ordering/store/14826.New online system for ordering and sudden pretty cups for hot drinks!"
"When the weather is cold outside, pho play is my go to for pho. When it's warm outside bao buns is a go to..."
"Drinks: THE SIZE FOR $6 IS SOO WORTH!! I'm so used to boba costing almost $10 for the same size!! Reasonable price and fast!! Next time I have to try their snacks! The cookies looked so big and good!!Service/Ambiance: I think it was the owner working when I went, but whoever she was, she was so nicee!! I saw a lady accidentally spilled her drink and she offered to remake it for free. And I thought my milk tea came with boba and she offered to remake it too!! Super friendly customer service!!"
"This spot has been here a long time, decade or so? I try to stop by more often to support this tiny vegan shop. The owner lady is this nice Taiwanese lady who drags her retired and reluctant husband to work every day. Poor guy, great health and food but so ready to die. LOL. Anyway, the food is enjoyable. I mainly order the noodle dishes as I can make everything else myself easily. It's nice to kick it here with my dog and a book in the post lunch quiet."
"Frozos has quickly become our favorite local fro-yo spot in Santa Clara, and I only wish we had discovered it sooner. They offer an impressive variety of toppings, far surpassing other yogurt places in the area. The cookie dough is my personal highlight; it's the fresh and delicious kind. Additionally, the cake batter fro-yo is my all-time favorite. The staff at Frozos are exceptionally kind and helpful. On one occasion, when I forgot to buy milk during my grocery run, they graciously allowed me to purchase a jug right from their store. Their kindness really sets them apart. While I haven't tried their bubble tea yet, it's definitely next on my list!"
"tea that I try everytime, just gets better. Fun place to be at and the cuteness of the place is overloaded."
"Cute little shop located in a strip mall. The store itself had a nice modern (albeit bright) interior. It was spotless on the day we visited. The lady manning the counter was super friendly and efficent. Popcorn Chicken: nicely fried bits of chicken that had a good crunch and good breading to meat ratio. The sauce added a nice punch. The hot here is not that very hot. For reference to my palate it was about the same as a Medium at Dave's Hot Chicken which made its presence felt but did not overwhelm the chicken. My son also ordered the coconut green waffle but I did not taste it. Ample parking and as many reviewers have noted right across the street from Costco."
"This was such a pretty cafe! I was in dire need of a matcha anything in the area and chose to stop by here! They have kiosks at the front for you to place your order and then your number is called. It would have been nice to see someone and order, BUT also after traveling, it was nice to just get in and get out.I ordered their Dirty Matcha Latte with boba. I ordered with just 75% sweetness, but I probably could have gone down to 50%. This was still VERY good and even though it's very chilly and windy, it was still refreshing."
"why is the first thing on your menu something that doesn't even have tea in it????!?!?!I ordered a Brown sugar Boba, and was so sad when I realized that what I had ordered was basically just caramel flavored milk with Boba in it. I don't understand who would order this on purpose? They should on the menu explicitly state that it does not have tea in it or just make it a secondary option based on a milk tea. Disgustingly sweet and childish drink"
"Was in the area and in the hunt of a good matcha latte.Saw this on Yelp and had pretty good reviews, I decided to give it a try. It's packed inside and a good amount of people studying / chit chatting. I got the iced white matcha latte (less sweetened) and it was really good! Not too matcha overpowering but just the right amount. I also got the ube coffee, that one was pretty good as well.I would rate :matcha latte: 7.5/10 - was pretty solid but not super great and amazing.ube coffee: 8/10 - the ube was sooo good with the coffee / very nice blend."
"Best boba hands down!Seasonal Brown sugar milk tea with 50% sweetness and 50% iceSupport small business"
"This shop is connected to a gas station, but once inside you'd never know it. There's plenty of seating inside and a decent amount of parking available outside. There was wifi so I stuck around to do some work and had a fun time listening to the music play on the speakers. The cashier was sweet and patient with me as I decided what to order. She recommended the bacon & cheese mochi waffle and I'm happy she did because it was the perfect little pick me up and only $3. It is small so I'd recommend getting 2 if you want a treat (it's also so cute, shaped like a corgi!). I ordered the honeycomb latte at 75% sweet - I have a sweet tooth so at first I didn't think it was sweet enough, but once the honeycomb dissolved it was perfect. This place is definitely a hidden gem."
"We've been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. Yay area - folks need to come here as frequent as possible. Every time we drive remotely in this direction we stop to get some great snacks and great drinks!!!"
"Boba and a few other snacks located at the very end of Webster in Neptune plaza. There's a parking area. Location is convenient. Service is friendly. There's self order screens. But you can also just order with a person in the front. Boba and popcorn chicken are good here. Tip: make sure to add boba if your drink doesn't come with it by defaultThe feel is casual and seems popular with youth"
"You'll find then upstairs in a kiosk area. Service was fast, you ordered directly from a computer screen, they make your drinks to order."
"In an area that's abundant in great boba spots, N7 continues to stick out! It must be the nitro-infused MT, which I was told by an employee that it makes the drink/tea taste smoother. Whatever it is, I AGREE LOLI continue to come back due to the strong tea-flavors, consistent great & quick service and quality, and because the Assam here tastes better than other places. My go-tos:* Jasmine Nitro MT * Assam Nitro MT* Rose MT (I sometimes crave a very floral-rosey flavor and this always hits the spot :))I also asked if there's any difference between "milk teas" vs when it says "nitro MT", and an employee told me no, so I'd assume all their drinks have the nitro factor?TIP: Order at the register because if you use the touch screen self-kiosk, there's some small additional fee you have to pay. Located in the same busy plaza as Mitsuwa, however where this is located in the plaza isn't as packed, so you can typically find parking!"
"With so many boba spots in Berkeley, TP Tea is amongst one of the more popular ones. The shop has been around for a while but it was the first time my cousin and I went.Inside the shop is on the smaller end. There are several tables for two scattered and depending on the time of day it could be full or empty. Ordering is done via kiosk or online and drinks come out relatively fast. Most customers take their drinks to go like we did. Service interaction is pretty nonexistent as the workers just make the drinks. The boba shop has a pretty expansive menu of teas and fruit teas plus snacks. My cousin enjoyed her drink and I got a Mango Latte with Oat Milk. There was a fixed sweetness and ice level and the drink was super duper sweet. It tasted like mango purée and juice with a splash of oat milk and even mixing it didn't dilute the sweetness level. There also wasn't too much boba included. For paying a lot for it, I didn't find it worth it. Also, a bummer is that dairy alternatives are strictly for lattes, matcha, coffee, and smoothies--not milk teas or specialty drinks. With the variety of drinks, I can see why TP Tea is popular. I probably won't frequent as much due to the limited options of alternatives and adjustments. They're sandwiches between other shops off Telegraph with street and garage parking nearby."
"Came in the morning to get a box of mochi donuts to go. Just about one of my favorite types of donuts. Fresh, chewy, delightful. Would be better if there were more flavor options, as every time I've come, only about half appeal to me. Overall, if you've never had mochi donuts, worth trying at least once, and you won't go wrong with trying them from Te'Amo."
"1004 Webster St Oakland, CA 94607This Boba Binge in Oakland Chinatown! On a warm day, I dropped by to grab a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Then I decided to try their food. I ordered some Popcorn Chicken and a Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. The Popcorn Chicken was good. Crispy chicken bites. My Vietnamese Iced Coffee had 50% sugar, and was good and cold. My Grilled Chicken Banh Mi sandwich was fresh, with a balance of meat and crispy veggies. It's a good place for a quick snack and drinks."
"The portions here were so big and the fish tasted very fresh! I definitely recommend a mix of spicy salmon and regular salmon. The service was very friendly and the ambiance was very casual. Great quick place for delicious poke!!"
"I really like this place for the following reasons:-They are open virtually all year (limited hours on certain holidays but still open)-The ordering process is easy (kiosks) + text when order is ready-The orders are made incredibly fast and in a really organized fashionI always get the strawberry matcha latte which is really good. Sweetness/ice level can't be modified but the standard levels are always sufficient. This is one of my go to places and will continue to be based on the above."
