"We met up with some friends here at Mission City Grill to have brunch and catchup on their recent vacation, holiday, etc.It has been a while since we last came here, so it was nice to revisit. The service was nice and friendly as soon as you walked in the door. Our server was good too. She was friendly, patient, and attentive! The decor reminds me of an Italian restaurant. It's not. Good old American cuisine. LOL. Breakfast served all day, Burgers, Sandwiches, and Entrees. Separate Restrooms for Men & Women's with multiple stalls. The Classics: Two cage free eggs, hashbrowns & toast or pancakes. Substitute French Toast or waffle ($2).*Hash & Eggs: Old Fashion Corned Beef Hash. It was from a CAN and griddled. It was a good breakfast. I really enjoyed the Swedish Pancakes with lingonberry butter! So good! I shouldn't be surprised since they are connected with Holder's.My wife and friend split theOmlettes & Scrambles: Choice of omlette souffle or diced scramble with Hash browns. Choice of toast or pancakes. Substitute French Toast ($2).*Supreme Scramble: linguica, sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, jack & white cheddar cheese, Spanish sauce (4/5). They ordered the diced scramble and added a waffle. They enjoyed the scramble a lot. They had them put the sauce of the side. The waffle was light, yet crispy. Our other friend enjoyed his Fire Guacamole Burger: Angus chuck beef patty, guacamole, crispy onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, pepper jack cheese, special sauce, artisan bun, fried jalapeño.Come check them out!"
"Beautiful ambiance, delicious food. All the appetizers on the mezze platter were delicious- the hummus, baba ganoush, eggplant salad. The beef kebab was so so good- perfectly cooked, not too chewy. The servers were quick and kind, the restaurant itself was beautiful"

"This restaurant had been here for a while and I've never been. I would highly recommend Metro for breakfast. Good portions, friendly staff and priced fair. Everything is made it order and super fresh. Country fried steaks in my opinion are hit or miss, but this one hit the spot. A good portion of hashbrowns and theirnorsnfe juice is really good too! I'll be back."
"A welcoming place amidst office complex, sjc airport, 101 and Kaizer! Love the free parking around it and welcoming outdoor and indoor seating. As you enter, you are greeted by friendly faces! You can make a reservation at "open table" if you plan to be there between peak hours. In $55 (before tip), we got:- your choice of 2 topping pizza - 4/5 - we got jalapeño, mushroom, olives. Bell peppers. They charged $1 for each extra topping. The pizza was loaded with veggies on a thin but tender crust.- veggie primavera pasta - 5/5 - we swapped the sauce from creamy white to vodka sauce for an extra charge and it was totally worth it. Bomb pasta and heavy/ huge portion size. Good to share!- garlic bread with cheese - 4/5 - huge portion and good quality cheese. I wish they added some herbs/ etc too on it to add a kick- complimentary sour dough rolls 5/5 are served on request. Loved it! - garden green salad - 4/5 - side plate of salad with greens, carrots, a big tomato slice and vinegar drenched onions. Pairs well with the sour dough rolls.Service is impeccable :) and it's a pleasure visiting them! #supportlocal"
"Came here for a happy hour and it was a great place to hang out! The vibe is cozy for any size. The outdoor area looked fun to be at when the weather's nice. There was a huge selection of drinks and everything was reasonably priced. The service was quick and friendly. Their shots are huge, like two shots per cup. The pours of the beers are to the very rim of the cup. It's connected to a spot with french fries and tenders which were amazing. Maybe because I was buzzed but they went so well with the drinks. If I lived nearby, I'd come by more often with friends! Definitely recommend."
"There aren't a lot of good Indian restaurants in the area, but I did like I did Palace.Staff and Service:- We came here soon after opening time on a Thursday evening and got seated right away. Seats started to fill up around 6:00pm- Our server was very niceFood and Drinks:- Mango Lassi: not the typical mango lassi I've had in the past. Not as creamy as usual - more on the tart side. - Tikka Masala Curry: so good! Creamy, flavorful, abundant, etc. I could have eaten this whole thing by myself - Garlic Naan: also delicious and flavorful- House Salad: this was almost a meal in itself. We thought this would be a small side salad, but there was enough for 3+ peopleMiscellaneous.- Parking is available via street parking (there is a parking lot connected to the restaurant, but this is for the apartments only)- Good for small and large groups - Pretty quiet restaurant"
"i have been going to bar bay grill for the past two years as a regular and i absolutely adore this place. their $1 oysters on tuesday and thursdays are a steal and i love going during those times. i usually avoid bars since i do not drink but this place's atmosphere does not make it uninviting. you could definitely bring kids and the atmosphere would still be light and fun.honestly there had never been a bad bite from me here.my favorite things are the oysters, garlic bread, wings, garlic fries, samgyeopsal, chicken wings. i love this place to death and it definitely needs more people coming here!"

"Khanh Do AttitudeLocally-owned mom-and-pop restaurant that's been serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the South Bay for nearly forty-five years (1981).They've moved around quite a bit over the years, with their last location being on Winchester Blvd across from The Row. This current location (±3yrs) is at the old Carrow's (RiP), and is well-suited for them and their clientele. The Good:*Private parking lot, as well as street parking available. *Great service and not at all like your typical ESSJ Viet restaurant, where they rush you thru and treat you like garbage. *Private party room available (min 25 max 40)*Nothing says class like smooth jazz in the background. :)*Booths!! I friggin love booths. :)))*Bottled beers (nothing fancy) and wine*Fresh Rolls (aka Gỏi Cuốn) were fresh and tasty, and I liked that they gave you options and price breaks on how many rolls you want (2,4, or 6). My only complaint was the dipping sauce wasn't the typical peanut sauce but soy sauce and a handful of peanuts thrown in. I mean it was fine once I added some Sriracha and hoisin to it, but still a bit odd. *Vietnamese Beef Stew (aka Bò Kho) was delicious and one of the best renditions I'd had in a while. The broth had a nice deep flavor and all the veggies and beef were cooked to perfection. My only complaint was I wish it had more beef, but that's always my complaint. *oink oink* :8)*Speaking of the Bò Kho, I got the more traditional baguette to go along with it and it was phenomenal. I'm not sure if they make it on house, but it was a very good baguette. I bet their bánh mìs are fantastic.*Carissa loved their Ginger Chicken (aka Gà Kho Gừng) as the chicken was cooked and seasoned nicely and the dish was filled with great ginger flavor. The Meh:*No outdoor diningThe Ugly:*I saw a few reviews on here stating that the food isn't "authentic" (whatever that means) but that's pure horseshit. Combined, we've eaten at dozens of Vietnamese restaurants throughout the country, so while we might not be the arbiters of what's "authentic" and what's not, I think we know anglicized cuisine when we see it--and this ain't it. Sure, the clientele is a bit sus, but we're in Campbell for fuck's sake. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Conclusion: Good food, great service, and terrific ambiance."
"Pocha K's a solid late night spot with a lively environment. Amazing spot to get good grub with friends and enjoy some soju past midnight. My friends and I came here for a 21st birthday party and were pleasantly delighted by the vibes, service, and most importantly... the FOOD! Here's everything we ordered:Kimchi Fried Rice - 9.5/10 - Flavorful, tasty, and overall DELICIOUS! So good we ordered seconds.Corn Cheese - 7/10 - Typical corn cheese, very solid order. Nothing spectacular but still very good. Rabokgi - 6/10 - Tteokbokki with ramen, not the best one I've had just because it's a little sweeter than I'd like. Only thing I didn't really like here. Chicken Gizzard - 10/10 - WOWOWOWOW! I loved the chicken gizzard, so perfectly seasoned and presented on a sizzling plate. A MUST TRY! Overall, pretty solid experience. Definitely recommend visiting if you haven't been already."
"This place is always packed! Love how they updated it with a mural painted on the wall. The service is good. Food comes out as quickly as they can which means, for really good pupusas, you're going to have to be patient. The pupusas are always so delicious! The Salvadoran tamales are flavorful and amazing! My son decided to try the pupusas locas!!! It's HUGE!!! And it's so good. I love this place!"
"After a retirement luncheon at a restaurant in Santana Row, ten of decided to take to come here with the new retiree for a drink to toast his retirement. El Jardin is an open air restaurant and bar. We were seated at a long high-top table and to order, you scan the QR Code at the table to pull up the menu. With a long drive back home, I opted for a non-alcoholic drink and got a Pina Co-Nada. It was a refreshing pineapple and coconut juice over ice topped with some whipped cream and coconut flakes. It was perfect drink after a heavy lunch meal. It was a nice environment with the trees and bushes and heat lamps.Restrooms were about 100 ft away around the corner from Left Bank Brasserie before the stairways to the garage.Nice outdoor bar restaurant with good drinks and friendly service."

Since we discovered Mission city Grill 2 months ago, we have been here 3 times!!! Anytime we are in the mood for good old American food staples, we think of Mission City.Love the fact that there is no crowd or queue to get in for an impromptu dinner... We also love to have a large breakfast for dinner and their breakfast is served all day which makes it another plus. The staff is super friendly, helpful and efficient. Some of our favorites so far are their chicken fired steak and eggs, burgers, fried chicken with waffles and on the most recent visit blackened salmon salad!! The side of the garlic fries are super yummy and a must try as well. Food portions are generous but not super massive, the quality is good and service is fast and efficient. Will be back again soon!!

Solid experience, very nice ambience and excellent service. The food is good. I think that the prices are a tiny bit high, but it is Solano Ave. so understandable. My friend and I tried their Brussel sprouts, spanakopita and the eggplant beef dish. I will be back, but I won't run back.

I love their brunch, and I recommend the tuna melt for lunch. They check on you a little bit after you get your food to ensure satisfaction. You feel very welcomed once you come in. And the room is very lit up.:)Review left by my son who loves Metro City, and we as his parents love It as well.

First of all, it will be hard to get better service. Chelo, our server, was excellent. He really took care of us.I had the meatballs and pasta. Way too much food! Very hearty. My wife enjoyed her gnocchi. My son in law had the Frutti di Mare and it was loaded with fish. Daughter had the pasta marinara with vodka sauce. She had bay shrimp which made it really tasty. We usually eat here when we go to the San Jose Airport. We always look forward to a great Italian meal.

I've always liked Mad Oak--it's hard to beat the vibe! There is lots of good beer and outdoor and indoor seating. I got to Mad Oak early to enjoy some tacos before meeting the rest of my group. I had the carnitas street tacos. They came out quickly, and the tortillas were soft, and the meat was falling apart--it was so tender. When I first got there, getting a drink was easy, but by 7 PM, there was a backlog of people, and the wait was about 10 minutes. The drinks were great, though, and the bartenders were friendly. Great place to meet friends and enjoy some food and drinks.

Service - 5/5Ambiance - 5/5Food - 5/5I've always passed this restaurant but finally had the chance to try it and was pleasantly impressed!I don't eat Indian cuisine often but my fiancé loves it. We both agreed this was one of the best Indian restaurants we've had.Garlic Naan - butter garlic and bread? Delicious Vegetable Samosa - so good especially with the sauces. Would definitely order again.Chicken Biryani - this had amazing flavor and was a big portion size! We had leftovers for the next day.Tandoori Mix Grill - wow! So good. This came out sizzling and was a mix of lamb, chicken, beef and shrimp. So good with our rice.

Fresh oysters are great. Especially good deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also like the seaweed salad. Corn cheese is too stiff once a little cooled, needs to add more mayo or cream.

This place was amazing!! Let me start with the seafood doesn't smell fishy or taste fishy. The fried oysters were amazing! Very flavorful. The New York steak was great and I got a side of chimichurri ! So amazing. The calamari tasted so clean and delicious. Not chewy at all.Our server was great! I don't know her name but she was a cute lady that is from England. She really provided the best customer service. Cocktails were also delicious we had some Hennessy sidecarts. We wish we had a place like this back home in LA. The food also came out quickly and was still hot! Such a great place

"Picked up a Spicy Chicken plate, it came with rice, salad, a dressing, and soup. Very good portion of the chicken, given the plate is slightly on the expensive side. It was more of a chicken teriyaki flavor profile with a kick of spice to it (not sure what type of spicy sauce was used), but it tasted good. It was pretty saucy. Just about right for a dinner. I was not very fond of the miso soup, I felt it was a little overpowering for me.Overall I'd say 3.5/5. Nice ambience and a decent sized parking lot, a couple of other restaurants in the complex as well. They get the food ready pretty quick."
"If you want deliciously satisfying and authentic Mexican food then The Mexican is where you want to be. My family has been coming here for years and no matter what you order from the menu the food is beyond expectation. This time I even ordered the grilled chicken taco salad and loved it! I had some concern before getting my dish bc I didn't know if it would be bland or boring (side note: I typically I don't order a salad at a Mexican restaurant (like come on) but I wanted something light bc my stomach wasn't feeling great the night before). The salad was so filling and so colorful -- I was impressed. My belly thanked me for choosing the safer choice. The service was great and our group was consistently checked on. Not to mention the amount of space we had to catch up and share stories was perfect (we were not competing against loud noise). Anytime I'm in the east bay and crave Mexican food, I'll be here. What's not to love?"
"Visited Ceron with 3 friends for Saturday brunch. Place opens at 10am and was empty...it's unfortunate as the interior is beautiful and aesthetically gorgeous (Modern Mission style) from the former business (Otaez Mexican Restaurant). *sigh* The vibe almost transports you to dining in the City without going across the bridge and circling for parking. The menu is creative and interesting so plenty of items to try. Options for brunch: eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, simple breakfast with coffee cake and sandwiches. I opted for the French dip sandwich which was presented well and enjoyed the accompanying potato salad. Though good I probably wouldn't order again and try a seafood dish .Friends enjoyed their dishes and what really finished off the meal was the chocolate silk dessert. Light chocolate mousse with a chocolate-crust with varying textures of chocolate gelato, candied hazelnut and chocolate tuile. Our server/host was the Owner/Executive Chef Juan Jaquez - very welcoming, engaging, and mentioned he formerly was head chef at Paradiso, San Leandro for 15 years....i knew the food was different after the pandemic and time he left to open Ceron! I really enjoyed the food when he was there and will have to return to Ceron to try their dinner service. Service was efficient and attentive even after more people arrived.Place is a great venue for a special occasion and meet up with friends. I'd definitely return to try some of their appetizers and eyeing the Berkshire Pork chop. Everything looks delicious albeit pricing on the higher side with like spots. Nevertheless, I'll give it a try if Juan is in charge of dinner service! :) Parking lot in back with metered street parking. Outdoor patio up front (facing Webster) and bar area is great when weather permits or if you have a pet. Highly recommend visiting Ceron!"
"Went to Yellow Chilli with my family. We had the following appetizers: Chanachor garam, vegmanchow soup, and hadippa paneer tikka. Both apps were flavorful and channa chor was nice and crispy. The green chutney that came with it was also a nice touch. We had the following main dishes: shaam savera, puransingh ka tariwala murgh, kebab vegetable wala. Our favorite was shaam savera! The sauce was so good and the paneer was so soft. We also had different types of naan to go with it as well as the onion chilli roti. Overall the food was great and will be coming back. Also, shout out to our server James who helped us decide between dishes and drinks. He was also very friendly and funny. Thank you for tolerating my dad's jokes, James!"
"I have been enjoying Touch of Soul for several years, at the former San Pablo location. I finally made it to Touch of Soul at the new(ish) location on Adeline in Emeryville. It was excellent! The food was spot on with all dishes cooked with aplomb. It seemed better than ever. Had the 1/2 fried chicken and it is always sooo good. They do not rely on the batter to make it tasty as too many others do. Their chicken is battened perfectly but it is not the only gem. Skin is always super crispy and the meat cooked to perfection. Big flavor, juicy meat, and really not greasy. My sides were the mac, brussel sprouts and dressing with gravy. Last night the dressing was the stand out. They make it with noticeable sweetness which is the best match with their rich and savory gravy. My only issue with TOS (a personal pet peeve) is they never returned to real plates and actual silverware. All you can get even for dine-in are plastic utensils. However This is meaningless when the food is just that dam goodTOS has always been a delightful group of people and that continues to be the case. They are always so kind and welcoming. I will go eat at places where staff treats me like crap if the food is real good. But at TOS this is never an issue. Just wonderful to eat outstanding fare while feeling like you are with family. (Well, at least with the parts of the family that are chilI, not the ones that are all fucked up and crazy.)TOS FTW!!"
"This is one of my favorite spots in town for Pho. They offer a variety of options on their menu that are also delicious!I highly recommend their steak with garlic noodles and any of their Pho options. They do a great job at packaging up fire for take out. If you decide to eat in expect to wait a bit as the service can be spotty. If you're sensitive to noise know what this can be a bit of a louder restaurant."
"The food here feels less heavy than typical Mexican restaurants or taquerias. I got a combo order with the chile relleno and Mole Enchilada. Chile Relleno - I should have read that this was grilled. There was no batter, but it was still tasty, and I didn't miss it much.Mole Enchilada - Flavor of the mole was good. The shreds of chicken breast were large, so it was a bit hard to eat. Beans and rice - Solid."
"Our neighborhood bar and grill...and we love them! Their back patio is the best part. They're so kid friendly - both inside and outdoor seating. But outside has fire pits, friendly crowds and plenty of space for the kiddos to run around (attended of course.)The menu is huge with pizzas always a hit, as well as their seafood. At least one of us orders their fish and chips every time we go and they even had a prime rib special the last time we were there. Spam fries are also another fun order.Drinks are standard but good. They used to have a spiked hot cider that I loved and the beer selection is big. Also, if you're there right at 5PM, make sure to take advantage of their whiskey special. IYKYK."
"Terrific neighborhood bar! Friendly bartenders. Chill vibe. Been coming here for many many years. Prices are reasonable. You can even order food next door and they will deliver it to you in the bar. Great spot!"
"My husband picked El Patio for his birthday dinner on Sunday, Jan. 12th. He saw they had chicken mole and he was excited to try theirs. I had a two item dinner plate with a cheese enchilada and chile relleno, which was a good portion of food and delicious. My husband was happy with his mole, sweet and a little spicy. My adult daughter had their chicken soup, which she enjoyed. I convinced my family we wanted a pitcher of margaritas, and wow! it was definitely a value for three people. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. While it seemed they had quite a few diners for a Sunday night, there was not a wait and it was not noisy--both a plus. What made my husband's dinner even more special was the great service we received from all of the young people working at El Patio: everyone was genuinely pleasant, they checked on us regularly and the service was perfect. We will definitely be visiting El Patio more often."
"Came here with my coworkers. I love how there's a rooftop upstairs. It was such perfect weather and comfy lounging. The food is actually pretty good. The drinks were also really good and refreshing. Some items can be on the pricier side. I honestly don't have any complaints. The servers were fun and attentive. I would come back again. Here comes the food review...Chips and guacamole with crickets: what an experience and very tasty 5/5Fried calamari: pretty good with the sauce 4/5Not pictured: wings 5/5 very flavorful Tuna tostadas: pretty good! 4/5Shrimp ceviche: really refreshing. Bomb with chips. 4/5Overall everything was really good, just pricey. I love how they have their own small parking area next to it too!"
"Best experience ever !!! Sakoon was absolutely amazing, servers were great, and food as usual was fantastic. Diya helped us organizer the quote and event and she is an absolute asset thanks Diya for everything !!!"
"The food, ambiance and service is second to none. Jenny and I have had most of what Cugini has on their menu. We have never had a bad meal. Armando and Becka are always at their best, making you feel at home. Stephanie, Mia, Angel, Marco and Jesus work as a team in making sure all of their guests are taken care of. Thank you Armamdo for making the best Martinis in town. Simply fabulous place. Love you guys."
"The kind of delicious, comforting, warm food that you want to eat that feels like you are at your friends house. Nothing pretentious or overdone, just tasty food.Absolutely love the way the tortillas are prepared for the crispy taco, my favorite is the shredded beef. It also has lettuce, cheese, and little bit of red salsa. Warm and crunchy, they're addicting. (Forgot to take a picture of this before gobbling it up)Love the classic enchilada plate with rice and beans. I like to keep it simple and just have cheese. So savory and filling. Sour cream and guacamole available on the side to make the perfect bite."
"Love the ambiance here. Casual but very well put together Mexican restaurant. Great customer service, clean interior, decent food, and awesome outdoor patio dining during good weather. Dog friendly restaurant. Dishes that stood out for me were the shrimp cocktail (Coctel De Camaron) and Hercules burrito. The shrimp cocktail was thick and hearty and they didn't skimp on the ingredients. It was loaded with yummy goodness; flavorful sauce that didn't taste watered down. The prices here are very reasonable and I would love to come back and try other items on the menu. Don't forget their specials on Taco Tuesday and Thirsty Thursday. Street parking as well as public lot parking."
"We have staycationed at Ameswell twice and eaten at Roger both times. I really like the restaurant, and my husband and I were just saying we should come back even when we aren't staying at the hotel. It's one of the most family friendly restaurants I have been to, but to make it even better the food and drinks are great as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and because the restaurant is indoor-outdoor, kids can easily go back and forth between the table and grassy area (with cornhole, giant Jenga, giant Connect Four). On our recent visit, we ordered 2 kids meals. The butter pasta was good but cooked al dente so it was a little firm for our 1-year-old (but perfectly fine for our older daughter). The fruit salad had strawberries and blackberries which was great - it wasn't just melon! The pizza is more like a flatbread than a traditional pizza just FYI and the chocolate chip cookies were really good! I like how the kids drink can be milk, apple juice, lemonade, orange juice, or a Shirley temple. The adults enjoyed the margherita flatbread, berry salad, and skewers. The skewers were actually from the yakitori grill but we brought them back to eat at our table. I think they are only available on the weekends. Be sure to take advantage of the happy hour. It's 4-6pm even on weekends and drinks were 20% off when we went. Service is friendly and food comes out fairly quickly. 5 stars all the way!"
"Friendly staff. So we walk in after walking around downtown mountain view which street is close off for blocks so very kid safe. Parking around this restaurant was very easy on a Sunday afternoon. We got 3 dishes for $45 plus steam rice. Ok the clay pot beef and salt and pepper spare ribs were delicious. The shrimp and vegetables dish was Ok. Maybe if it had some heat to it. ( spicier)"
"Lots of food options in terms of the skewers. You just have to get used to all that neon lighting. The shredded potato thing was pretty good too."
"My first time to Three. One Four Pizzeria was wonderful! My friend canceled our reservation due to the bad weather but a few of us rallied and ended up going after all. The manager was very flexible and allowed us to dine even though officially they didn't have availability. The manager gave us a time limit but we never felt rushed and was able to stay much longer than originally given. The service was excellent. I was excited that this restaurant is located in the old Lalime's restaurant. The 5:00 pm-6:30 pm Happy Hour is an amazing value at $5 for their craft cocktails and $7 for a glass of wine. We ordered a Bella, Fiamma, and Espresso Martini. All three were delicious and didn't disappoint! They looked beautiful too. Regularly priced at $16, these cocktails were a steal of a deal! For dinner, we ordered the Mixed Chicory salad, the Baked Pasta special of the day, and the A Little Spicy pizza. Everything tasted fresh and so delicious!!! We ate family style and shared everything. For dessert, we ordered the Tiramisu for dessert. It's their signature dessert and they prepare it at the table. It was fun to watch and was tasty but I prefer the more traditional Tiramisu. Still, I was glad we ordered it. Because the dinner was so fantastic, I made reservations for another special birthday celebration. Unfortunately on the afternoon of the dinner, I received a call from Brandon Wilson, the restaurant owner, letting me know that the restaurant had just closed due to unforeseen circumstances. I would have liked a longer notice as I had to scramble to find another restaurant. However, I know it was probably difficult for the restaurant to decide to close. I really hope that they will reopen in the near future! I feel bad for the restaurant because this is the season when people are out to celebrate and are looking for quality restaurants."
"Three stars is appropriate. Decent mexican food (I had carnitas), my friend had carne asada, which he said was okay. Margaritas were just okay. Very sweet. Tbh, the best thing we had was the bean dip and chips.Somehow, two mains, one app and one pitcher of margaritas ended up being over $80 before tip, so I don't think this is worth it."
"Post the pandemic it seemed like buffets wouldn't make a comeback. And while that has not been true, most buffet places now are actually on the higher price point. Most places except this one. I mean how do you get so many choices, all freshly made, all flavorful, non greasy, with naan brought to the table made to order, and two desserts. Oh and chai. All for an unbelievable $14.99 plus tax! Guys I mean come on.Everything I tried was flavorful and distinct in taste. Indo Chinese items like chilly chicken, starters like Spinach pakoras were so good. Extra points for an ultra flavorful green chutney and thick yogurt sauce (raita). It would be hard to describe each item because there were so many, but the butter chicken, chicken biryani, methi aloo were all super delish.Unlimited Chai was nice, but the desserts itself weren't life changing. Although I appreciated that they had a not too sweet sevaiya kheer because I swear if I have to look at one more uninspired rice kheer bowl at Indian restaurants. The dining space and buffet stations were clean and well organized. And staff was replenishing the food non stop. Their location and good food probably keeps them busy, and the kitchen and staff seem to keep up with the demand. The restrooms need to be cleaner, but they have two so there's a good chance you will find atleast one that's clean.Management is doing something right with this place. Gotta go back and try the other items in the buffet soon!"
"Great place for lunch. How come we haven't stopped by sooner? We wanted to try something new and somewhere close by. So, we ended up here. We've driven and walked by many times, but it didn't look that great. Today was our chance to check it out. We walked by the outside diners and went inside. There was no line. We were instructed that the specials were on the sign and the other dishes are on the other side. It took us a bit to figure out what the other side meant. It was at the other end of the line. There was a pile of menus. Today's special was a taco salad for $14. It came out huge and delicious. I'd order it again. It was made with butter lettuce, half of an avocado, and a pile of beans and meat.I got the bean and cheese burrito for around $9. It was big and delicious. The tortilla was the perfect texture and size and it was folded perfectly. We ate outside and it was great ambiance due to the great weather. We'll return."
"Stopped by here last night for dinner with my girlfriend and our friend. Parking can be a little difficult to find - there is no parking lot, just street parking. Luckily we were able to find a spot on the street close to the restaurant. The restaurant itself has an outdoor patio where live music and DJ's perform ( the DJ performing last night was really good) and tables to sit down at indoors. For our meal, each of us got our own plates and some things to share. For the appetizers, the Fried Breadfruit was really interesting. The fruit itself did indeed have a bready consistency which was actually kinda trippy. But it tasted great - it was almost smokey, with a little bit of salt added on top and a light sweetness from the fruit. The Festivals were pretty good - They tasted like deep fried breads with a hint of cinnamon. The taste was decent but they were a little too dense for my liking. For Entrees - I got the Brown Chicken Stew Plate, my girlfriend got the rasta pasta, and our friend got the oxtail. One thing to note for each of our entrees - portions are extremely Generous. You'll definitely get your money's worth of food here. The Brown Chicken stew was very solid - it reminded me of what I used to get back on the east coast. The chicken was perfectly tender, and the brown sauce was extra savory. The plantains on the side along with the rice peas went well with the stew sauce. I found that adding a little bit of hot sauce brought it all together nicely. The Oxtail, from what I tried, was also very delicious. They were cooked properly and were also tender and the flavoring was perfect. The Rasta pasta (one of the only vegetarian Items on the menu - they did not have the Ital menu available) left a bit to be desired for sure. It was very turmeric forward, and not quite what I expected based on what I've seen of Rasta Pasta in the past. My girlfriend said that adding some extra seasoning and some of the hot sauce made it better for sure. All in all, Mintos is a spot that has good service and solid quality Jamaican/ Caribbean food. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.4/5"
