This restaurant shares the parking with another businesses. We went there for lunch and there was plenty of parking. We were greeted and seated by a friendly waiter. We ordered the Tea Leaf Salad, Pork Pumpkin Stew, Nan Gyi Thoke, and a side of Biryani rice. Our food came out in a timely manner. The waiter mixed the Tea Leaf Salad and Nan Gyi Thoke for us. The fried yellow beans and fried garlic chips added an extra crunch to the Tea Leaf Salad. The pork chunks in the Pork Pumpkin Stew were tender. The pumpkin chucks weren't overcooked. The coconut chicken curry sauce for the Nan Gyi Thoke was pretty flavorful. During our meal, the waiter checked up on us. We enjoyed all the food that we ordered and the prices are fairly reasonable. We'll be back to try their other entrees.

Burma Spice has been on rotation lately because everything is flavorful and cooked well. I've had the Tea Leaf Salad, Eggplant Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, Fiery Tofu with Beef, Garlic Noodles, and Fiery Chicken. The atmosphere is comfortable for a casual drop in or a nicer dinner and conversation doesn't compete with a noise level. There are TVs, so maybe that changes if there's a big game on but hasn't been the case the e multiple times I've been.My only nit is that the service is a tad slow. Friendly, but not on an expected cadence. It's getting better, so maybe as a newer restaurant they're fine-tuning the training or they're finding their rhythm. I'm sure I'll be back (again) in the next few weeks.

Burma spice is a nice cozy feel type of restaurant. We ordered the kebat beef (good taste), tea leaf salad (regular ingredients), crispy pork belly (red color, not as crispy as i thought), palata dip (the chicken is the dip and breading is like a pan fried pancake).I'm not a frequent goer of Burmese food, so I cant compare it to others but there are a lot of good Burmese restaurants in the area! Our server Eric was very nice and helpful.

Nan gyi thoke - really liked this dish but I was thrown off by the use of spaghetti noodles. I guess I'm just not used to Asian dishes using spaghetti noodles. I'd get it again. Tea leaf salad - I love tea leaf salad and while this was good, I have had better. I would probably try a different vegetable dish next time but wouldn't mind getting it again. Kebat lamb - I liked this dish as well. Flavors were great, however, if you don't like the gaminess of lamb, you probably shouldn't order this. I didn't mind the lamb but I'd like to try it with beef next time. Coconut rice - this was made well. Not too dry, not too sticky, not sweet and very coconutty. If I wasn't watching my sugar levels, I would've eaten the whole bowl myself. The nan gyi thoke and tea leaf salad was served unmixed and the server mixed it in front of us. It happened really quick and didn't get a chance to snap a photo or video but it was a pretty presentation.

Great Burmese food with super friendly staff that's located in a plaza with plenty of parking which makes it also really accessible. The restaurant is also really big with plenty of tables. I was also able to make a reservation through Yelp although it seems like it might not be necessarily on weekday night (went on a Tues night around 7pm). We ended up ordering tea leaf salad, samosas, and nan gyi thoke (chicken curry noodle) along with some drinks. I got the Burma Dream which was a mango/coconut cocktail that was sweet and very delicious. All three dishes were also super solid, and we enjoyed all the dishes. Overall a great place for a causal dinner and would be back!

Burma Spice opened last year and is relatively new to the area. It has an extensive menu with lots of protein and veggie options. PARKINGPrivate lotSERVICEThe host is always welcoming upon entrance. I've been here twice for lunch and was seated quickly. FOODEverything I've had so far has been delicious.* Nan Gyi Thoke* Tea Leaf Salad* Chili Beer* Okra & Egg Curry* Coconut Rice* Burmese Crispy Chicken My favorites will always be the Tea Leaf Salad and Nan Gyi Thoke. The Burmess Crispy Chicken isn't anything home to write about other than it is a tad too sweet for my taste. The portions here are plentiful, and sharing 2-3 dishes amongst a party of 3-4 is excellent. Burma Spice is an excellent addition to the Redwood City area. I will return when I'm in the vicinity.

First time trying Burmese food and we can't wait to come back! We ordered the Nan Gyi Thoke, chili beef, coconut rice and a Burmese milk tea. They also have a really comfortable & covered dog friendly patio with heaters which is always a huge plus to us! Nan Gyi Thoke - This is a rice noodle dish w/ a coconut curry chicken sauce and lots of different toppings. This dish was so flavorful & the rice noodles were cooked perfectly. It was creamy and we loved the different textures from the wonton chips, onions, and egg. This is a must order! Chili beef: huge portion! The beef was really tender and it had a great balance of sweet & spicy. I would say it's a 3/10 on the spice level. Coconut rice: must order if you're getting any entrees!! the rice was extremely fragrant & paired so so well with the chili beef. Burmese Milk Tea: first time trying Burmese style milk tea! I would say this drink is closer to a Chai than a Taiwanese or HK style milk tea. It was creamy & had a hint of different spices in it. We were the only ones sitting outside and the service was really great! They were on top of making sure we had everything we needed. I'd definitely come back!

Very delicious food! We had a vegetarian person and a gluten free person in the party and the waiter made sure to ask pertinent questions so great service as well! The place was quiet on a weekday but well decorated and clean.
