Buon Appetito Restaurant

My husband decided he wanted to take family to this Italian Restaurant for Valentine's Day. Thank goodness we had reservation for 7pm. They were packed for Valentine's Day. (Note to the restaurant; take reservation maybe you should input the First Name and Last initial or last 4 phonenumber. ) We enjoyed the food Appetizer -main course - desserts. We could not enjoyed the restaurant because it was too crowded on Valentine's Day that is a good thing. Ambiance very lively and everyone was enjoying themself with their dinner before meal drinks. They have a bar - order drinks while you wait for your table. Will try again when it is not a special occasion day. Highly recommend!

Today, I found myself in Hayward celebrating a birthday with the family and ended up visiting Buon Appetito. This location is nicely lit, has a welcoming atmosphere and the bonus of a parking lot.We had a reservation, so getting seated was a breeze. Our waiter, Tim, was incredibly kind and patient, which we greatly appreciated since we were a big party. They even went out of their way to set up additional tables to accommodate everyone.Once seated, drinks were ordered all around--red wine, margaritas, lemonade, and cocktails--while I kept it simple with ice water. As we decided on our meals, they brought out bread, and let me tell you, it was amazing. Soft and delicious...it didn't even need to be warmed.For our meals, my wife chose the Fettuccine Alfredo, which came with homemade fettuccine pasta, a creamy Alfredo sauce, parmesan cheese, and grilled chicken. She paired it with a strawberry lemonade. I got the Fettuccine alla Friuliana, which has Italian sausage, caramelized onions, red wine, fresh tomato sauce, and parmesan cheese. Both dishes were absolutely delicious, and I'd highly recommend them!Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was great, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere had a nice vibe. If you ever find yourself in Hayward and craving Italian food, definitely give Buon Appetito a visit!

I came to Buon Appetito with six of my neighbors, and we all had an amazing time! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm, inviting, and lively--the perfect spot for a group dinner.The highlight for me was the Buon Appetito pizza. It was absolutely delicious with a perfectly crispy crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. Every bite felt like a celebration of authentic Italian flavors. My neighbors also raved about their dishes--everything from the pasta to the appetizers was spot on.The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of, and the overall atmosphere was just right for good food and great conversation. If you're looking for a place with fantastic Italian food and a welcoming vibe, Buon Appetito is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Dined in for dinner, party of 4 on a Sunday night. The two locals in our party are regulars for lunch, and they chose the place for us try before heading back home. Parking wasn't too challenging, and seated indoors (but near the patio door). Our main server was Marco, and some dishes/drinks were brought out by Alfredo. Excellent! The complimentary bread and garlic butter was yummy. Half of the party got mojitos, and sodas get 1 free refill as well. We started with two orders of the calamari fritti, which were lightly battered and the best eaten when hot and fresh. Not chewy or tough at all. The Linguine ai Frutti di Mare is basically like a cioppino with pasta. The Lasagne Ferrarese was a decent portion, very flavorful. The Fettuccine al Pesto with shrimp and mushrooms was also great, homemade pasta and pesto was also light. For dessert, also tried the tiramisu which was also good.Their specials menu did intrigue me (the mezzalune and the risotto) for next time.Got a calzone and a Pizza Buon Appetito to go, which were also delish!

I had reservations New Year's Eve for five we walk in there 450 the hostess wasn't at the booth when she walked up. She's all how many people and I said well I have reservations for five they gave her my name. She looked around the restaurant over to the left of the hostess is another room. She walked up in there, put the menus on the table, came back to the hostess counter and said OK. You can go sit down and we're like OK that's weird. Didn't tell us her name didn't say hello nothing The food was OK. Three other party sat down next to us in the area. They were served water. Their orders were taken. Ours still hadn't been taken so my daughter said excuse me we're ready to order and then the waitress took our order. Nobody introduced themselves didn't tell us their names at all the whole entire time we were there.I'm gonna give it another. Try one day and go in there. Hopefully your service is a little bit better.

I wanted pizza. I read the reviews on yelp. A friend of mine had been here as well, so it was highly recommended. The pizza selection isn't great, but the pizza we had was superb. We had the Caesar salad and the beet salad. Everything was very very fresh the quality of the food was on point for me, elegant and authentic.The bathrooms, you do have to go up a few stairs, plenty of parking.Two salads and a pizza $40 bucks.Big bonus you get the sourdough bread with a garlic butter spread.

So my wife and I decided to check this place out for our Valentine's Day dinner. I had never been here before but the wife asked. What can I say. My chicken dish was just amazing. This place was jumping for an early Friday evening dinner. We will be back.

It is so safe to say that this is my mom's and I's favorite Italian place. The service is always super attentive and when it's not as busy they have conversations with you. When they're busy though they are on their game! The food is my favorite and very authentic. My mom always gets the veal and I always get the bistechina alla griglia (rib eye). Sooo good and flavorful. I always love the limone ravioli (not pictured). Also we have had a dinner service here and they are amazing for events. Everyone was pretty out of it from crying, drunk... and or both. I was a bit embarrassed to show my face after this event because I come here all the time. but they handled all of us with respect and attentiveness!

Been here many times from date nights to private gatherings, the food and service is always very good! For being a smaller local place in Hayward, this checks all the boxes to get an italian craving satisfied.This last experience really pushed me to leave a review, we both left extremely happy with everything.We went pasta heavy and got the gnocchi with gorgonzola for the appetizer, and then the alfredo pasta and ravioli in brown sugar sage sauce for main courses. All of it was delicious! Pro tip: if you're a wine drinker bring your own bottle, the corkage fee was ONLY $15.

Could not recommend them enough... the staff was incredible, the food was delicious and they made it so easy to plan our event for 100 people. Highly recommend and will use the again!
