My fav sandwich in the USA!!! I recommend the chicken or veggie banh mi. I think about this sandwich daily. It'a at the cal ave farmers market in Palo Alto too. That veggie pate is unbelievable.

I have been getting a vegan banh mi (the veggie one with no aioli) almost every single day at my internship, and it is INSANE. Definitely the best vegan banh mi I've ever had, and up there in terms of the best vegan sandwich I've ever had. The veggie one has fried tofu, seitan, cucumbers, pickled carrots and daikon, cilantro, and veggie pate, and each individual element is delicious on its own and then together are just heavenly. The fried tofu has the most incredible texture, it's like chewy but also soft and sort of juicy at the same time. The baguette is also top tier and really brings the whole sandwich together. Highly highly highly recommend.

Ordered online via Yelp and drove to location to pickup lunch all to find kitchen closed. They are out of business but still took online orders. Had to call Grubhub to get Yelp to refund us but didn't have enough time to pickup any other items for lunch - went hungry & disappointed.

Stopped here on a whim on my way to the airport! They really stuff their sandwiches! I would come back here again if I was in the area. Keep in mind, if you are ordering online, the pick up is at a virtual kitchen in an industrial area...so don't be sketched out. They're cool peeps :)

A close friend of mine recently just opened up this amazing banh mi shop in Palo alto. He was kind enough to drop off some sandwiches to try to some coworkers and I at the hospital we work at. Let me first start off by saying that the first look of the sandwich looked amazing! I ordered the steak sandwich and it had a more than generous amount of thin sliced grilled steak which looked so appetizing. The first bite that I took got me hooked! All of the ingredients including the vegetables and secret sauce meshed so well together. The bread wasn't too overwhelming compared to other banh mi sandwiches I've tried. It was soft and complemented each bite without my taste buds having to search for the other ingredients. The steak was well marinated and grilled to perfection; it was tender and super easy to eat. The vegetables tasted fresh and had the perfect crunch to add to the tenderness of the steak. The bread is a special homemade Demi baguette and the vegetables are locally sourced so you can expect great quality and freshness with each bite. Do yourself a huge favor and try it out! I am definitely looking forward to trying what else breadapeel has to offer including their salads and other sandwiches. OMG this is hands down the best Bahnmi sandwiches ever! The chicken bahnmi is amazing! So much flavor in the meat and the bread is perfect!' I pretty much try to come here every weekend at the Farmers Market and get a sandwich! They never disappoint!

Yum! Yall this is the best Banh Mi you will ever try!!! It's not your regular Banh Mi that you can get from a store. I love all of them A must try!! I ordered every sandwich on the menu just to try! Steak Banh Mi ($12) - My favorite!! The meat is so soft and tender. Very flavorful and comes with all of the vegetables Chicken Banh Mi ($9)- shredded chicken with all of the vegetables! Veggie Banh Mi ($9) - comes with tofu pate (bean curd paste), fried tofu, and tofu patty with all of the vegetables Pork Banh Mi ($11) - crispy skin n popular as well! The pork is so good :0 Classic Banh Mi ($10) - Comes with Pate and ham The fresh veggies is a perfect touch to the sandwiches! I usually come by the farmers market on Sunday's and they sometimes have $5 fresh coconuts! What a steal. This place is a commercial kitchen from Monday-Friday! They are open at a Farmers Market located on California Ave. from 9am - 1pm on Sundays.

By far the best sandwich place to exist on Earth. My go to sandwiches are the pork belly and the veggie. I also want to note that I am usually not a veggie sandwich kind of gal, but the veggie Pate that is in the veggie sandwich is something I would pay top dollar for! As someone who is generally appalled by any kind of meal that is over $12, these sandwich prices are actually extremely reasonable. You are getting fresh, quality ingredients, and each part is laboriously hand made. The pork belly is dried, seasoned, and roasted in-house, all of the aiolis are made from scratch, even the steak, head cheese, seitan and veggie patties are all made from their own recipes. You will not be able to find any sandwiches that come even close in terms of taste and quality.**BEWARE the Yelp address that it gives you can be EXTREMELY CONFUSING because there are two locations. 1. Sundays, they are at the Palo Alto Farmers Market 2. For the rest of their business days, they are in Santa Clara in Victor Circle. Make sure you check where your maps is routing you to before following.

i am shocked to see what I found in the chicken salad I ordered from bread apeel - an ear plug / small rubber thing .it was not only gross to find that ear plug in your food but also it is a potentially chocking hazard.i am planning to report about this to local governing bodies to look do the audit at their facility because seems like they have poor food manufacturing practices and bad sanitation.

Delicious food! I ordered the steak sandwich and the workers gave me my sandwich within 5 minutes! The working environment looked very clean and put together.
