Bobby's Discount Liquors

Convenient location. I've seen some mention parking being a problem, but personally, I have never had an issue. Friendly service, great selection of liquor, fair prices. Not really much else you could expect from a liquor store.

Great store. Parking lot is pretty jammed but great place to jump on and off the freeway to grab some quality liquor. Park in the spaces to the north of the 7-11. Store owner is cool and their selection is filled with many daily drinkers and not the big box store swamped shelves of liquor you never knew existed.

Bobby's liquors is readily visible from the main street. finding a parking space once inside the small commercial strip is problematic. most of the space is devoted to alcohol. lots of open space. not much in the way of convenience items. the beers, wines observed were priced above average. lots of hard liquor available. didn't check out pricing.drink: tampico (.99)-only 1% juice, mostly water, frutose-nasty tasting mango flavored crap.takeouts:-reviews mention hard liquor best buy hereprobably true.

Minus one for the semi-sketchy neighborhood and guy that is hell bent on catching someone stealing from him (but in truth, he's easy to ignore). "I'm a fan" because it is hands down the cheapest place to get Hennessy when Costco and BevMo are closed. Oh,and they have a Hennessy fridge so you can buy it cold if you prefer. Also, the cashiers are friendly and helpful.For those of you not interested in the Hennessy persuasion, from what I can tell, prices for everything else are pretty decent too. Happy drinking!

Bobby's Discount Liquors is the best little Liquor store in Hayward and one of the best in the east bay. If you live near here you need to stop in sometime and check out their fine selection of rare and unique liquors and cheap porn. They usually have anything that you may need on hand and in case they don't you can always drop by the Longs a block east of here. When I frequented Bobby's, some of my typical purchases were one of the three kinds of steel reserve and maybe some 100 proof SoCo, (Southern Comfort). Whatever you drink and however much you have to splurge on drinks this place has you covered. It's walls are covered with things that most people don't even know exist and it's smaller than the 7-eleven next door! So drop on into to this tiny little shop some time when you're in the area, (it's just on the Hayward side of the San Mateo bridge) and get yourself something to drink.CHAD

This place is kinda scary on a friday night. It always seems like I forget to bring a bottle with me when I leave my house, and it's right when I'm about to hop onto the S.M. bridge...so, I have to stop here to get it! If you like some dude following you all over the store staring at you like you are going to rip something off, then you will like this store.....or it may be that he is checking me out....either way it is annoying and almost harrassing! I'm NOT going to rip something off....I've been stopping at this place long enough and this guy has seen me enough to know that. And, if you are checking me out, STOP, because it really grosses me out! The liquor selection is pretty good and the cashiers are friendly, but I can do without the creepy stalker!

I just had to update my review to bump up to the full five stars. The staff/owner is extremely friendly and knows how to run a business. He understands the give and take between profit margin and sales volume, and that makes everybody win. The prices here simply can't be beat. Jack Daniels Single Barrel? $15 cheaper than BevMo. My purchase today, Johnnie Walker Blue Label? A full FIFTY dollars cheaper than BevMo. It just doesn't get any better than that.

My friend told me about this place and how their Johnnie Walker prices are unbeatable. He wasn't joking. There is no place that I know that can beat Bobby's Liquor price on Johnnie Walker Blue Label (not even Costco). The rest of his Johnnie Walker line is well priced as well (black, green, gold). Talk to Paul. He is a very helpful guy and may knock a few bucks off of a bottle if you ask (all he can say is 'no' right?).I went during the day and would have to say that this little shopping center would not be the optimal place to be at night. Then again, what do I know? I'm just saying that I personally wouldn't show up to this place at night in a Bentley wearing high-end threads while sporting a blinged out Rolex. But then again, I do not have a Bentley and a blinged out Rolex... ;)If you need high-end liquor, give Bobby's Discount Liquors a call or a visit. Their prices are truly amazing and Paul is a very cool person who provides excellent customer service.
