Bevri is a very flavorful restaurant found on Palo Alto's lively University Avenue. The first thing that caught my eye is the aesthetics of the place - it's very chic and modern with plentiful indoor and outdoor seating. Furthermore, it's very evident time and care went into each dish, as they not only tasted good but also were presented exquisitely. I split the Khachapuri Adjaruli with 4 others, and the cheesy bread was delicious. While I really enjoyed it, I don't know if I could have finished it without a lot of help, given how carb-heavy and filling this dish was. On the flip side, I had the Chicken Mtsvadi and it was super tender and packed with flavor. It looked and felt very healthy. The only knock was that it felt small for the price I was paying. Another nice thing to note is that the price you pay is the price you see here (ie. doesn't follow America's tipping culture). A service fee is worked into the cost of the dish.Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant, and would recommend trying it out on Uni Ave!

It's on University Ave, so it was pretty expensive. We ordered the Khachapuri Adjaruli, which was reasonably priced compared to Georgian Cheese Boat in SF Little Italy. Bread was pretty good. The Georgian Cheese Boat in SF is better. The Beef Ribs with Tashmijab / Pork Mtsvadi: Super Overpriced. I think it was around 50 dollars; I got more food out of 50 dollars from michelin star tasting menus in SF than at this place (7 Adams to be exact). Didn't taste bad, but I would honestly just pay 20 dollar for that.Food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go here again. As a result, 3/5 rating is fair. It was nice you don't have to pay tip here.

Have been wanting to try Georgian food, and finally got a chance to! We chose to sit outside because although it was a crisp & cool fall day, it was warm enough in the sun. Service was just right. No real complaints except that it was unfortunate for us that it was just me and one friend, and we weren't able to try more dishes than the 3 we had. Definitely come try Khachapuri Adjaruli (that calzone looking bread boat with the gooey cheese in the middle). The bread is not as dense as calzones, it is delicious with the cheese (and we had to get the egg!)It was so hard to decide between the kebabs or the Khinkali (Georgian soup dumplings), in the end we decided on the Khinkali. Yes it was tender and somewhat juicy, but imho it does not beat the xlb. I thought I tasted salt in the dough itself and while it was not bad, I just couldn't stop comparing it to the Chinese soup dumplings and also craved some black vinegar to dip it in. Would probably not get this again, but would order the Khachapuri Adjaruli again, and try other items here as well.

I came here with a friend to celebrate my birthday. I found parking in the nearby structure fairly easily and I was really excited to try Georgian food as it's my friend's favorite cuisine. We sat outside which was pretty with the lighting and ordered the pkhali, Khachapuri Adjaruli, and mushroom khinkali. Service was a bit confused. They repeatedly tried to bring us things we didn't order (not the worst thing!), one of which we already had at the table. The khachapuri was delicious although the price point is pretty steep for what it is. The khinkali was different but really good. The pkhali was my personal least favorite. I just didn't feel like there were enough accompaniments to go with the spinach and beet mixtures and it was an odd texture to just eat on its own (to me, at least). We also got the napoleon cake for dessert and they were kind enough to bring it out with a candle and everything. My friend who is a big fan of Georgian food said she wasn't very impressed, and my overall impression is that it was good but expensive for what it is.

I missed the original Bevri where the environment was cute, warm and welcoming. Now it's this gigantic dining space on the University Avenue in Palo Alto and it lost its charm and characters. The dish size has shrunk, at least it's the case for the starter - Pkhali, hand chopped baby spanish and beets with walnuts and herbs, served with eggplant rolls and grilled rosemary bread. (See my pictures)The Khachapuri Adjaruli (cheese bread) is still fantastic. Other main dishes are kind of hit and miss. I guess i'm just being nostalgic for some reason.

Food is top notch at Bevri and I love it'. First time at the Palo Alto location and I think I think Los Altos better based on service. The server kind of forgot about our table when we're seated in the back but Bevri's food makes you forget about that kind of things. Also get the bread with cheese and tried a few things off the seasonal menu and was surprised with the flavors!

First, I love that this place has such ample and charming outdoor dining. Second, I like that they switch up the menu all the time. There's always new items when I come. Also, the presentation (as you can see from the photographs) is excellent, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. Here's what we got: 1) Chicken liver pate: delicious, exactly as advertised2) Badrijani salad: my favorite item. super tasty eggplant with so much flavor from the tarragon. truly stunning. 3) Mtsvadi: It's a good, even excellent version of what it is, which is tender, grilled chicken. 4) Kebab: Again, a delicious version of what it is, but not very different from other kebabs I've had. 5) Winter Pear desert. The pear and ice cream were refreshing. Portion sizes are rather small, so expect to order an appetizer and main per person. I've also had their Khinkali Dumplings and Khachapuri Adjaruli bread, and both were quite good. Definitely try their dumplings and bread if you haven't before, because they are classic Georgian food.

My first time trying Georgian food and it did not disappoint! As vegetarians, here are our tops picks - The Pkhali sampler, Georgian Salad, Grilled Rosemary bread and their Khachapuri Imeruli. Their teas are decent, and the Tarragon Soda was a refreshing change to regular sodas. Service was quick and highly recommend the food.Prices are a little steep, but that's expected from fine dining restaurants in Palo Alto. Also, an fyi that a 20% mandatory gratuity is added to every bill, irrespective of party size.

This is a wonderful restaurant with authentic Georgian cuisine, a highly professional and polite staff, and a friendly team. The food is absolutely delicious, and they have the best cocktails in Bay Area. We are always happy to come back to this restaurant!

The food was amazing, as expected from Georgian cuisine. Though there was a funny smell indoors and I did not like that.
