Beli-Deli Gourmet Catering has done an incredible job! I would recommend them highly!We had my wife's birthday party for over 50 people last year and everyone is still talking about it! The food was delicious, and the staff very professional and friendly. Everything was perfect, from the furniture to the last piece of birthday cake. Thank you, guys!

Beli Deli catered my wedding and I could not have asked for an easier or more delicious experience!Mike set up an elaborate food tasting for us (on a Saturday!), patiently walked us through many different menu iterations and put up with our ever-changing head count. Our wedding venue was rather unconventional (a WWII liberty ship) so Beli Deli had to navigate a very unusual setup, including lifting everything from the dock to the ship by crane! But everything went off smoothly and on time, and everyone maintained a very positive attitude.We decided on a buffet, which our guests loved - the crabcakes, in particular, were a huge hit. Beli Deli also labeled all the vegetarian dishes, which was very appreciated. Also, they gave us WAY too much food - far more than we paid for! And, for an additional touch, after the wedding they agreed to let us drop off the leftover equipment in person and waive the delivery fee.I highly recommend Beli Deli for catering any large event, no matter where you're located or what the venue.

Beli Deli Catering hit a home run on our wedding! My wife and hired Zhanna and her team to cater our wedding at the Julia Morgan Ballroom last September. We had 150 guests, a cocktail hour with appetizers and a multi course dinner menu. Months later friends still tell us how amazing the spread was. Zhanna and company are amazing and have countless years of experience in feeding large gatherings. Her expertise goes well beyond the kitchen; she provided us invaluable advice that saved us money on details such as tables, seating, linens, garbage disposal and much much more. If you go down the road of planning a large wedding and want to create a spectacular gastronomic affair then Beli Deli Catering is your one stop shop. Our cocktail hour was a home run. We had plates of seafood, fresh fish, small pirogi, sushi and more. Before we left to the reception, which happened to be offsite in Oakland, Zhanna prepared a tray of sandwiches for the wedding party. She stressed the importance of us being fed as she said, you will not eat at your wedding, you will be too busy playing host and receiving toasts and all the other rituals that go along with being the center of attention at your own wedding. During the dinner service her team which included the kitchen staff and wait staff, ensured tables were stocked with drink, food came out on time. The dinner service started with cold appetizers, then went into hot appetizers, then we transitioned to hot main dishes. A desert table was in place before we arrived with mountains of fresh fruit, chocolate figurines, a fruit sculpture with our names on it and more. I can't imagine having pulled off a meal service that flawless without her. She was available at all times, on site the day of the wedding coordinating food with our day of wedding coordinator from start to finish. Her knowledge of the space, wedding particulars and all manner of freak-outs and pain points experienced by couples planning their own wedding made the entire process manageable and a joy. There was so much food left over after the wedding that we managed to feed over 40+ people at our house the next morning and throughout the day. If you want to get the most bang for your buck then look no further.

We are so happy we chose Beli Deli to cater my birthday brunch for 45 people. The complements came fast and furious--everyone was positively "wowed" by the food, the variety, the seamless delivery of dishes. The staff were clearly attentive and caring, really wanting the party to go smoothly. For the first time hosting a party, after they set up, I never thought again about what was happening in the kitchen. They stayed until the place was totally clean--what a relief not to have to start washing dishes after guests left!One of my guests said he wished he had known about them for his next party (especially since he had wanted to taste a caterer's food before ordering, which Eugenia does), and several took Beli Deli's cards for future reference. I had a certain theme in mind for the food, and probably only Beli Deli could have come through with that. I also loved that I was able to encourage selected guests to take some of the food they particularly enjoyed home, since the portions were so generous. Beli Deli's five star rating is well-deserved, and I would definitely use them again when the next big occasion arises!

Zhanna and her team did a PHENOMENAL job catering at our wedding this past weekend. We got together several times with Zhanna and put together a menu that would complement the hotel entres that we had at the wedding. There was a lot of variety in the dishes, the quality was incredible and the quantity was enough for the day of (200 people) as well as the day after (party of nearly 70 people). Zhanna also organized a great cocktail hour and a fabulous dessert table for us. Everything was extremely tasty and all of our guests enjoyed it very very much! Zhanna is a wonderful person to work with! In addition her team is very professional and worked very well with the hotel staff. We had a tricky timeline in terms of set up and everything worked out flawlessly! Thank you Belideli for making our day such a success!!!

When we chose Beli Deli to provide the catering for our wedding, we knew that everything was going to be great knowing the quality of the culinary Zhanna always produces, but she still exceeded all of our expectations. She was so generous, warm, patient, and so great to work with. We couldn't have been happier with how incredibly delicious the food was at our wedding. The variety of dishes provided was just unbelievable. Beli Deli provided dishes from multiple regions including French, Oriental, and Eastern European. We were also very happy with how the presentation of food for the cocktail hour looked. Best of all was the feedback we received from our guests, who kept saying how much food there was and how much they enjoyed it. We are so grateful for everything Zhanna provided and how everything turned out.

Wow. I don't even know where to start, but I will try.I don't want to spend too much time talking about how absolutely unbelievably delicious every single dish was that was served at my wedding. I also don't want to spend too much time talking about the sheer abundance of food (we had to give a bunch of food to our family, fed 20 more people the next day, and still had to use a friend's refrigerator to store the leftovers). What I do want to talk about is the service. We first made contact with Beli Deli back in March (nearly a year before our January 2014 wedding) and had a tasting then. We really liked Zhanna and Mike, it was pretty much a sure thing then. About 3 months before the wedding, we started making serious plans and coordinating the event. I had a lot of trouble communicating with the venue and the party rental place. After several frustrating weeks (non responsiveness, missed questions, etc) Mike took over and told me he'll handle everything. And he did. He was absolutely amazing. He is a master of his craft and I couldn't be more impressed. During the wedding, he was an absolute baus as well and my guests were in absolutely awe. We made the right choice and I will absolutely go to them only from now on.Thank you Mike and Maria for this unforgettable evening!!!!!

I ordered cocktail hour and dinner table appetizer catering for my daughters wedding.I had nothing to worry about! Beli deli owner and staff coordinated timing and delivery with the wedding veneer and provided all the required paperwork. The food and presentation was amazing. All the guests enjoyed the food!

Incredible taste! Beautiful presentation! Easy communication and coordination! Beli Deli via Zhana and her team catered my wedding and day 2 post-wedding celebration with exquisite taste, style, and care. When we were thinking about wedding catering for our San Francisco wedding, we immediately knew we wanted Beli Deli. Known for their flawless catering throughout the community, we sought out Zhana for her food's taste, guaranteed quality, and presentation. Working through the logistics of catering a cocktail hour, multi-course reception and then a second day celebration were a breeze. They presented us with multiple options to meet every taste and food preference and were accommodating when we wanted changes. One thing that stood out, was their willingness to accommodate requests. Although our catering was not kosher, we had a few gusts who required kosher meals. Utilizing their vast network of contacts, they were able to deliver timely, warm, and flavorful kosher dishes that met our guest's needs. We were so worried about this but Zhana and her team had a plan for everything. The food itself was amazing! The menu was varied. Cocktail hour included various flakey pirozhki, duck breast, sushi, salmon, and more. The dinner included cold appetizers (with an assortment of smoked fish, decadent pate, flavorful eggplant), hot appetizers (moist meat blintzes, delicious sturgeon), entrees (variety of meats including lamb, chicken kabobs, grilled vegetables) and more! The desert spread was also breath taking with a surprise fruit sculpture and a multitude of pastries. The actual amount of food itself was nothing short of a cornucopia! The team was also very thoughtful. The staff brought food in so elegantly, never interfering with people. Zhana herself came to our wedding to ensure everything was going according to plan. She prepared meals for our vendors and frequently encouraged us to eat between being busy meeting everyone. Set-up and take-down was quick and efficient! Payment was a breeze! For day 2 catering, the same concepts were true. They were punctual with incredible food. The mushroom soup was on a cold December day was a hit! Zhana's team took care of everything including set up and clean up. They were so prepared - when we ran out of plastic table settings that I purchased, they had extras! Talk about going the extra mile! Additionally, the venue didn't allow for traditional heating sources, Beli Deli thought of everything and got creating with innovative ways to warm the food and keep it fresh! If you want amazing food that tastes superb and is always fresh, hire Beli Deli.
