Originally I planned to have Peking duck next door but it didn't work out so came here instead. TLDR, order the BBQ items but skip the other non BBQ items.Chinese BBQ is a popular street food or late night snack and it seems it's becoming more popular in NorCal finally. This is one of the better places in terms of taste when it comes to the BBQ items. First, as I stated earlier don't order the non BBQ items such as Hainan chicken which is cold and not tender at all. The chicken rice is also way off. I think they put it on the menu just so parents can order for their kids while they themselves can order the BBQ. The beef tripe casserole is better but still I think BBQ is where the restaurant shines. The BBQ items such as lamb kebabs are really good. It's a good mixture of fatty chucks along with lean meat that's done properly. The spices are not overbearing and can be a little grainy so I suggest the restaurant go lighter on the sauce. The chicken heart is a little too well done and doesn't look like the photos. What I do like is that there are items such as lamb tendon which is rarely offered in other BBQ restaurants. The corn is also interesting because they didn't cook the whole cob but instead put individual kernels on the stick. The restaurant is surprisingly popular among families with young kids as I saw many families came to sit down. The parking in front of the restaurant is small and hard to find but just go to the other side of the McDonald's and you should be able to find some. Overall a decent addition to the Chinese BBQ restaurants in the Bay Area.

Average toilet. The mirror has strong ambient light that you can see well if there are meat or veggie on your tooth. Food is very ordinary compared to other BBQ skewer places around. Don't get the chicken skin, it is saggy. They need to cook for longer time. Chicken heart is little bit over cook. I think their bento is pre-cook heat up. Quality is average. Not all the food on the menu are available which is kind of weird since the restaurant opens such as duck bloodToilet 4/5 light mirror is a plusFood 2/5

I've been here twice - first time I had a great experience, second time not so much. Basically, do not come when it's packed, they don't have the manpower to accommodate a full house currently. When they're not busy, the skewers are cooked perfectly. The recent time we came, most of the skewers were either undercooked or overcooked, unfortunately. Chicken skin is on the chewier side, not crispy. Chicken wings are good and a massive size. Potato tornados were popular and decently good. Beef and chicken bites skewers were good fresh. Intestines were pre-marinated before grilled, so they were too salty. Service was okay, but they're very overwhelmed. I saw other customers getting really angry because the food was taking so long to come out. Our food also came out slowly (second visit), so we just ate slowly as each skewer came out. It didn't make for a very cohesive dining experience, but it is what it is. We also asked our server to make sure our items were coming a few times, and he went into the kitchen to check for us and then the item came out.All in all, the flavors are decent. Not very spicy at all though. Good when they're not busy, but otherwise - would not recommend coming at a busy time. You'll be waiting to eat for a long time.

Been here a couple times, I was happy to find a place that actually serves this type of skewers! I always see these at festivals, where the skewer stalls have super long lines, so it's nice to be able to get it from an actual sit-down restaurant.I went during lunchtime on Sunday, there weren't too many people there so the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered beef, chicken heart, cauliflowers, and stinky tofu. They were all pretty tasty. The beef is a little fattier than I like, but it's just personal preference. One note - I ordered with "normal amount of spice", but I didn't really taste much spiciness. Also, the server was nice and helped me figure out a good amount of food to order.Overall a pleasant place to get this kind of skewer bbq meat if that's what you're craving. The restaurant itself is bright and clean, not much decor but I'm not here for that. Will keep coming back when I have skewer cravings!

Pretty quick service, friendly staff. The prices were reasonable. I was surprised how busy it was all things considered.

We came in on a Friday night, food itself is actually pretty good (lamb tendon skewers) but we waited probably 35 mins for our first skewers to appear and then probably another 20 mins for the rest. Wait staff were also very overwhelmed but trying their best. Would be back for skewers but only on a weekday.

Looks like the folks from Taste Good Beijing a couple of doors down have a new place. This was a subway at some point (I've not been here in a while) before covid. Now it's a late night skewers place with sone sort of astronaut theme. Regardless of decor, neat cooked over fire on sticks is my jam. Unfortunately my mandarin translator was out of town but their menu has a ton of pictures. I think I had all things lamb, sone chicken hearts and sone squid. All really tasty though , personally I'd like a touch more salt and the hearts to be less well done. Otherwise super friendly folks and strangely the majority of folks in the room did not speak mandarin so I wasn't totally out of place! This area has been getting all sorts of different Chinese regional cuisines but it looked like Beijing just doubled their game

First time coming here since a few friends wanted to try it. We got here about 5:50pm, and ordered at 6:00pm. We didn't even start to get our food until 6:55...NEARLY AN HOUR after we ordered!!!They didn't update us on what the timing on our food was and basically ignored us for the most part. They had a FULL cup of sunflower seeds on the table when we got there but the food took so long we finished them by the time our food got to the table. We got no apologies or explanations when we asked about our food. Even when the food started to arrive it was staggered like (1) item at a time so our group of (4) were waiting for items to come out so we could eat together. By the time stuff came out some of the other stuff was COLD. The food doesn't taste bad but honestly the OVER 1 hour wait to get your food is NOT WORTH IT!

Wasn't sure what to expect since this place wasn't on Yelp and I couldn't find a menu. Turns out the menu is pretty heavy on offal which isn't really our cup of tea.We tried a few different skewers, but nothing wowed us. (I think they all had the same seasoning.) The skewers did have some good flavor, but they needed more salt to really make it pop.
