To say I am thrilled with this business is an understatement! The food was WONDERFUL, prices reasonable, excellent service, just really great. Can't say enough. Had a small retirement party at my driveway and everyone loved the food and set up. I am so glad I found this business. Stop looking, just call Jason!

I could not recommend Bay Area Taco Catering more highly! They catered our large family event with joy and class, and helped make it an event to remember. The food was incredible and delicious, like it was homemade! They went above and beyond, and couldn't be friendlier or more communicative and flexible. They were a true joy to work with. Best. Tacos. Ever.

These guys were AWESOMESAUCE! Clean! Great customer service, on time! Good music! DELICIOUS TACOS! I want to have a party to use them again!

First off Jason is AMAZING! Not only does he have the BEST tacos he's an amazing person. Jason catered my July 18th wedding and did a phenomenal job. My family/friends still rave about the food. The tacos and sides were absolutely delicious! Jason is extremely easy to work with and on top of that very responsive. He worked with my husband an I to create a menu that was within our budget. The taco bar set up was beautiful and was definitely a conversation piece. In my opinion, taco carts are the way to go for wedding very cost effect. if your on the fence about hiring Jason do yourself a favor and just do it! We will be hiring Jason again for future family gatherings!!! Thank you, Jason!!

We hired Jason and his crew to cater the taco bar our wedding. We could not have been more impressed by the experience! They were able to accommodate all of the dietary restrictions of all of the guests so no one felt left out. All of the taco options were amazing, but the carnitas and the shrimp tacos were definitely out of this world!

I am not local to the Bay Area and kept searching for the right caterer for hosting a client lunch in San Mateo. I ended up emailing Jason at BayAreaTacoCatering and set up a taco-lunch! Everyone loved it! Service was amazing and everything was organized and set up so clean.Perfect pricing as well. I would definitely recommend!

I'll make the short. Ask If they cater in Calistoga was told yes we do. Contacted them via their website no reply for over a week. Contacted via Yelp again was tolds they will check email. Then they said can't cater because it's to far. Kinda contradicting much. Guess he did not like the review since he sends me a very condincding message that I've attached. Instead of doing that how about apologize for the misunderstanding. Food looks tasty on the site though

These guys don't charge nearly enough - the service and amount of delicious food they served far exceeded what we paid them to cater our 200 person wedding. If you want an amazing team to serve up unbelievable tacos, and an incredible variety of salsas/toppings/garnishes, and compostable utensils to boot - reach out to Bay Area Taco Catering and book ASAP. If you want a killer party where your friends keep raving (and for a really reasonable price) - reach out to them ASAP. The food is hands down the most complex part of an event, and Bay Area Taco Catering breezed in, executed seamlessly, and cleaned up everything! We had so many great stories of friends and family meeting in line :) I am so, so, so happy to have picked this brilliant team to have such a huge role in our big day, and cannot recommend enough.

Jason did our wedding of 130 people and pulled it off amazingly! He was hands down the best vendor we worked with for our wedding for the following reasons:1. Pricing -- choosing tacos for our wedding was a great bang for our buck.2. Quality -- the food was so good. We had many guests compliment the food. Also, it's nice that he offers a wide array of food. We had tacos for dinner, but a good variety of non-mexican food for our cocktail hour he provided.3. Attention to detail -- what made Jason really stand out to us as a vendor was his attentiveness to our needs. He was always super flexible when we needed to discuss anything with him. More importantly, he came with super helpful suggestions for food types, food counts, decor, etc. The decorations he provided for our buffet table were so cute and really made the stand pop.I highly recommend Jason for your next event!

I'm certain they have amazing food and provide a great catering experience (their wedding photos are gorgeous). That said, we weren't able to book Jason and his team. After an initial inquiry, every response to email was incredibly slow, if at all--and most responses only came after I followed up again and again (via email, text, and calls). Ultimately, 3 weeks and multiple communications later, Jason finally revealed he couldn't do our date. More specifically, he said he would send a quote on Monday (which he didn't, or Tuesday either)...so I followed up on Wednesday, to which he finally replied on Thursday that surprise--his family would actually be out of town on our date.Literally 3 weeks and a lot of effort wasted. I get that Jason gets a ton of inquiries and he's just one guy. That said, when someone is practically begging you to put down a deposit, it was shocking to get minimal communication in return--especially when we could have been pursuing other available caterers during this time.Three stars because I'm sure they offer a great food experience...but a catering relationship starts way before the actual event, and this is where they were severely lacking. Didn't instill confidence they would have even showed up if it did work out.
