I think I pop in here maybe twice a month tops, and I hadn't been in here at all since November, a day or two after the election, having a sad little deflated little doom drink. I came in yesterday (in February, a full 2 months and some change later), and the bartender remembered my drink order (Paper Plane, always a Paper Plane).Highly impressive. That's how you build a following.

Industry dive bar that serves classic cocktails. They update their menu every so often, their latest drink is called the beta test and I was surprised how much I liked it. It was vodka, carrot juice, lemon, and ginger syrup. My go to drink here is their jungle bird or lions tail bc I love allspice dram. The bartenders here really know their stuff and can whip you up a drink if you don't see something on the menu you're interested in. They do have DJs playing some nights.

Came here with a group of about 10 people for a chill surprise bachelorette party. I didn't plan it, but apparently the staff are really accommodating and happy to host, even let us decorate the upstairs area if we wanted to. We made it for happy hour and enjoyed the dark lighting and chill vibes that made for a very relaxed hangout with friends. It didn't seem all that busy and the bartender was really friendly and thoughtful with our drinks. I enjoyed the Mai Tai and the Dark and Stormy. No food here. Happy hour prices are reasonable and drinks change up once in a while. Overall, would come back for a quick drink or hangout with friends!

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday evening. It wasn't super busy, so we were able to sit at the bar and order our drinks immediately.Our main bartender was Mavis(?) who was super friendly and very knowledgeable. The drinks I had were well made and tailored to my tastes perfectly. Another bartender, Kevin, helped Mavis on our side at times. He was also pretty friendly. My friend and I had a pretty good time here and would definitely recommend this bar for a good drink.

Great place. It's Eddie Muller's (Turner Classic Movies), favorite hangout. Great bar owners and a very cool bar.

Came here for happy hour and the drinks were reasonably priced. Super dark inside but I like the vibe. There are a lot of intimate seating areas too if you don't want to be directly at the bar.

Best gin and tonic of my life! Chill vibes. Curious about the DJ, though. Once I'd get into the music she was playing, she'd switch to a new genre. Fun and eclectic, though.

The home bar of film noir archivist and studied personality Eddie Muller. If you dig ANYTHING film noir, this is where you should hang. Eddie is a legend in his own time, a fount of knowledge about the dark side of cinematic life in the 30s, 40s and 50s. If you love Chandler et al, this is where you should all aspire to hang out. Maybe you'll be lucky and meet Eddie!

Went for a party and had a great time! The staff was nice and welcoming, I'll definitely stop in again
