This place is new-ish and the interior is so nice! While I was eating, I couldn't stop thinking about how this would be such a nice venue for a little birthday party/some kind of event. They have fake trees inside and I think that gives it a really clean vibe. Service is good despite them being pretty busy on a Friday morning! We ordered the popcorn chicken, and a sizzling noodle plate that came with a drink (we got sweetened milk tea). The milk tea was strong and sweet! They were generous with the popcorn chicken and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. The noodle dish was the best - the meat was flavorful but so so tender, and the noodles were crunchy but drenching it in sauce helped make it softer. Would definitely order everything we ordered again!

Tried Bb Cafe in SL for the first time and it was ok. They got my daughter's drink wrong and they fixed it. The food was ok, nothing special but when we went for lunch it was super busy and only a few ppl waiting on tables. It took awhile to get menus and our orders in. We always order the following:- baked pork chop w/spaghetti - excellent as always - popcorn chicken - my kids fave- grilled steak with milk tea - shareable - strawberry slushy Fast casual dining at its best. The decor is nice and restaurant can get loud. The prices are kinda high, but what isn't these days

Came around the late afternoon on super bowl weekend and had to wait around 10 minutes for a table - It was packed. We checked out the menu before getting seated.I was craving the baked pork chop rice and anticipated a wait as I read it takes awhile to come out, but the other food was pretty good for my tastebuds/reminiscent of what I would order at Shooting Star in Oakland. It was solid, I enjoyed it, and had an entire half to eat for dinner!I didn't like the Hainan Chicken Rice as much, not because it wasn't good, but the dish wasn't what I was hoping for. Rice was just coconut rice, not flavored with the chicken broth. Chicken itself was okay, and ginger was okay too - Nothing this because the ginger is just about my favorite part of any Hainan Chicken order.Otherwise service was not bad as everything came out promptly. They were super busy so I didn't expect a lot.

A lovely addition to this shopping center. 2 trees are styled in the middle of the restaurant. Very modern and clean. We ordered beef stew, dry noodle. This dish was done to perfection. The beef stew soft and tender. The Hai Nan chicken rice had a beautiful presentation complete with peanuts. slices of decorative cucumber. Beef chow fun had good " wok hey" and garlic lettuce was a nice addition as a vegetable. All so good, large portions.

Bright, clean, large strip mall parking lot, good service, many items to choose from, tables are nicely spread out, The Beef Stew Rice Cube was good - little chewy on the beef while rice was nice and crunchy with additional small bowl of beef stew sauce to pour or dip your fried rice. The Pei Don So Yook Jook - Thousand Year Old Egg Lean Pork Porridge was decent, very smooth, a bit gooey as if blended, not sure, and wished they had Fried Donuts for dipping - but nope. We ordered a Green Onion Pancake which was ok, but not fluffy enough to replace a Fried Doughnut for Jook Dipping. Will go back to try other things. Their BoBa Milk Tea looked interesting.

this new Hong Kong style Café has honestly been my family's go to since they opened whether it's for lunch, dinner, or late night snacks/desserts. their service is quick and most importantly their food options are amazing. My favorite would be the hainanese chicken rice plate!! the ambience is also very cute and gives off modern fairytale vibes - their Hong Kong style dessert menu is also super delicious and mango sago would be my go to. something I appreciate on top of everything is most of what I've tried have been pretty flavorful and delicious so you can't really go wrong. I think it's more of a preference on your flavor profiles.10/10 would recommend tips:- perfect for family, kids, dates, and friends- lots of parking available within the plaza- good for lunch and dinner- lots of options and has vegetarian friendly options

Decided to check out this new cafe that was opened until 10pm. The place was bright and nicely decorated! They have the typical HK cafe food options and some desserts. We ordered:- Baked Fish Fillet Spaghetti: like typical HK cafes, you can choose between rice or spaghetti. The pieces of fish were generous and the sauce was flavorful and thick. I didn't know it was white sauce since there was no picture (also forgot to ask), but I would've preferred the tomato red sauce to balance out the cheesiness and not make it too heavy.- Sizzling Mixed Pork Chop & Chicken Steak: this is a good option if you want two protein choices and the portion of meat is a lot. Choose between: Black Pepper Sauce/Tomato Sauce/Garlic Sauce/ Curry Sauce. Nice blend of Asian and western food with the addition of fries and cucumbers/tomatoes. The meat had a good sauce but overall wasn't as flavorful as I would like. Comes with either: Hot Milk Tea/Lemon Tea/Coffee/Honey lemon. Overall, it's nice to have a HK cafe with so many choices in San Leandro. They have desserts but not many options as it seems to be more focused on food entrees. The portions were generous for the price point and lots of parking in the plaza. The staff were nice and attentive. Would come back to try other things if I'm in the area!

Busy location with lots of patrons. If you know you want the popular Baked Pork Chop Rice/Spaghetti you should order it ASAP bc it took 30-40 min. I guess this is something for management to work on. Despite that, the food was excellent, with tender pieces of beef & curated flavors to make it authentic.Orders:Beef Rice Cube-crispy fried rice with Chinese stewed beef with a good ratio of tendon to beef. Impressed how crispy the rice was. I appreciate the extra sauce that was provided bc u took it home & just add rice.String Beans & Beef slices-a crispy saucy string bean dish with tender pieces of beef. A definite reorder.Salty Fish Pork Eggplant- when it arrived I thought it was a bit pale in color, but don't be deceived bc the flavor was perfect. The eggplant was not over cooked & the salty fish gave it that nice salty flavor that mixes well with rice. (Rice sold separately).Coming on a Sat.means being patient. Bc the Pork Chop Baked Rice dish didn't come on time, the manager was gracious enough to comp us, but we declined bc of the business. The gesture was well appreciated & I would come back.
